- So...we have not been successful in racing the Slash yet.
We took it to the racetrack, but kept having center driveshaft issues.
The fix? Tekno Big Bone Driveshaft!!!!

That Slash looks like a lot fun and history. I love it!
Thanks!
Definitely is the best upgrade for this if u need a new driveshaft
Thanks! Hope you are doing OK!
Thanks for giving me a idea .The biggest problem on my Slash 4x4 is the middle diff . The front part of the case brokes permanently, and i really don't know why .Honestly i've never thought about a bent driveshaft. At my next rebuild i will try this tekno one.Very interesting Video .Have a nice Sunday.
Glad this helps! I hope it is pointing you in the right direction.
Loving all this bench videos bro. Very interesting and informative.
Thank you.
I get that they are not as entertaining as a fun bash session, but I do get a lot of people over months and months who say they are helpful. That is why I keep doing it!
@@RoadsideRC that's the essence Bro.
Anyone else hear the center shaft clinking around after this install? I did mine in my Stampede 4x4 and can hear it, even though I used the 2 rubber rings in each end..
It is going to make noise as a metal-on-metal connection. Just part of it.
Did it kind of sound like a card in bicycle spokes?
Nice that looks like a good driveshaft upgrade
We sure hope so!
Great upgrade! Excited to see the car burn up the track!
Me too!!
Good luck looks good should work great
I sure hope so!
Great upgrade nice of you to share
Thank you. I am always glad when someone appreciates it.
Great fix and video
Thank you!
The only slightly annoying part about the tekno shaft is that the rear output can't fit through the motor mount, so you have to unscrew that set scree to get the clutch out and then loctite it again. I use 2 o rings in the front and 1 in the rear
Yes! I was also disappointed by that. Forgot to include that part in the video.
Thanks for the tips on the o-rings. I put 1 and 1. Will see how it goes.
Why do you run a locker for racing?
Because it wasn't a racer for most of it's life. It was a basher.
All of the local racers yell at me and say I need to run a center diff.
Maybe someday! :)
