I am glad someone else tours a bit on their R9T. I have just taken my R9T scrambler on a 3600 km tour and with the addition of a new re upholstered comfy seat it was great. It ate up the miles. The bike took it all in its stride and was even quite economical! Enjoy your bike.
Thanks! I set up the bike for touring, and it's great for short trips. For long trips I take my other bikes thou.. not sure why but too long rides on the R9T, I will get foot cramps.. 😂
@@Eatdrinkrideuncle You're lucky...I only have one bike so its the Rnine T and arse pain all the way. But its great fun and it really enjoys being out on the open road and taking on a few winding ways as you know. I'll be out on it in an hour...I should cycle but knowing its sitting in the garage all lonely. One thing is I can never get over the changing engine sounds and the evil rattles the boxer makes...out in the middle of nowhere it starts sounding like there a spanner loose in the cylinder! But it keeps on going and then changes again and starts sounding happier than ever. Weird engine. Have a fine day.
Changed a new starter a few months ago. It is after all an eight years old bike. First start of the day is hesitant, but after that is ok. So not much worries. 👍
