ugh i miss swapnote. in sixth grade my bf and i would send swapnotes to each other every day during summer vacation, and wed usually send funny ones about what happened at school that day after school. it was one of our ways we kept in touch over 3ds (we had a few different ways lol, it was our main way to communicate instead of landline calls), were still friends and reminisce over it sometimes :-)
I remember I used to bring our 3ds to dance performances so me and my dance group could play face raiders during downtime, it was just dumb fun that didn't take too long to set up and you didn't feel bad if you had to close it down in the middle of a round to make it up to stage in time.
Nintendo is just greedy and corporate nowadays with bland presidents , but 10 years ago, 3ds/wii u era had charm and entertaining presidents during their low financial period.
Yeah they were for sure more experimental a deacde ago and I do miss that side of them, but it's hard for me to complain with the quality and quantity of games we got this genration
the way you edit your videos and have a smooth way of delivering lines and funny jokes really reminds me of many great youtubers i know. youll get there definetly, just give it a few years and people’ll look back at this video knowing you were meant to be a popular gaming youtuber, keep working hard and wishing you the best !
*cracks knuckles* Oh yeah, I know a thing or two about this. I really wish I still had my old 3DS, I know I took so many photos and videos on that thing that are now lost media, and that's so sad to me. Same goes for the Sound app, I always loved changing the pitch and speed of my voice. I was easily entertained, alright? I still pop on Face Raiders every now and then today just to inject a little bit of nostalgia into my veins, and don't even get me started on StreetPass, my ass was trying so hard to complete that damn Twilight Princess puzzle they had on there. And of course, how could we forget about DINOSAUR OFFICE RAWRRRR. Nintendo Video made me happy man, even though I had TH-cam literally right there at my fingertips. Miiverse was awesome too, I'd amassed like a little entourage of fans who liked seeing the (terrible) things I drew in Pokemon Art Academy. I really wish my posts were archived somewhere, but alas, that's even more lost media under my belt. Banger video Aaron, you're the goat!
I never had a 3DS or a WiiU (Loved my Wii and DSi XL too much to annoy my parents about an upgrade) but even the DSI had a lot of these types of preloaded apps that I am so nostalgic for. Flipnote Hatena on top!!! Didn't the 3DS have a variation of Hatena? Would love to see one or both of those talked about in a future video! Fantastic stuff :)
Never had the chance to own a 3DS in its prime, I really wish the switch had as much personality as the consoles that came before it :/. Also, great video!
As someone who was in high school during 9/11.... You are 100% correct in how it went down for us, GBA only playing games and all. But also... The old man in me wants to yell at you to get off my lawn because the GBA did do other things... It just took additional hardware... Damn kids and their new fangled technology.
My childhood man i have so many memories of it especially using the stuff it came with I couldn't beat the end of Face raiders so matter how hard i tried 😭😭😭 and the recording bubbles. I had so much fun with them and playing Russell in a little nursery it's a popular like Warehouse company. I forget the name
