Last night at Spark Arena they raised the Palestine and LGBTQ+ flags at the last few verses/instrumental of this song!
I'm indigenous myself and have lost many sisters to the grasp of disgusting men. This song makes me feel empowered, just to imagine letting all of those men drown in vengeance of our stolen sisters. Even in unfortunately regular cases of non-MMIW misogyny, it's still impactful. Women are expected to nurture and baby men, even if they abuse us. When we fight back, we are only seen as "monsters."

As a native woman i feel like this song helps paint a picture of what it’s like to be an indigenous person/woman in todays world.
the line, "dont feel bad when these fuckers all drown" hits me, because im being bullied at school and when i feel mad i just think of that line. im autistic and people at school say im weird; they hate me. so this song makes me feel better in a way that not even saturn by lyn lapid can make me feel.
The fact I sense the song is about Sirens not being the evil ones but basically protectors of the marginalized who lure toxic masculine men and abusers of the patriarchy, to get a taste of their own medicine ❤😂. This song is amazing- POWERFUL 🙌

I remember this song was leaked and how it was one of the popular unreleased songs from Melanie. I’m so happy Melanie released this, because this one is a bop and the production/ vocals 10/10.

As a woman who was married to an abusive husband for 13 years , this song really touched me. I love melanie , as she helped me recover from my abusive,toxic relationship and helped me except myself.
