As a legitimate GT7 super fan with over 4000 hours in this game, its nice to have the best version you can own on the pro! And for me its 150% worth the upgrade for gt7 alone, not to mention every other game that you can play at max fidelity in 4k. And when gta6 comes out next year, people will regret not having bought a pro, as the price will hike.
Significant FPS drop on Pro while using PSSR lol. I had a feeling it was too good to be true because you need really powerful hardware to overcome issues that are inherent to RT and upscaling and the Pro is just not good enough for that, let alone justify its asking price.

Playing GT7 on PS5 for over 2 years and then play it on PS5 Pro, you would know the difference straight away, and you can see the finest detail while you drive. So it is worth the upgrade.
I agree I did the upgrade at this point was it worth it, nope but I did it for 2025 games that’s where the console will shine. The only difference I saw was more lighting and smother gameplay isn’t worth the $700 plus not at all.
Well-made video! Since Gran Turismo 7 is my favorite game, i do think the upgrade is worth it, it was already an absolutely gorgeous game, and just got better. Don't get me started about playing in VR on the PS5pro, that upgrade is more substantial, it's a gamechanger in VR!
The problem is that I allways see more the issues than the new things. Now car edges look very bad, serrated or pixelated. There are flickering textures everywhere. Some materials look awful with RT (metallic and chrome especially), and many internal parts have reflections (for example the interior of the exhaust pipes, or the interior of the air intakes in the cockpit, between many others). Those kind of details are more important than the improvements. I would like to see just visual improvement as an option. No RT, better AA, better relections @60 solid fps, for example.
after dozenz and dozens of hours in GT7 in my fat PS5 making millions in game (sadly) some time ago, I decided yesterday to go back a bit again to GT7 to try out this new DLC, and as always this is a welcome addition by Polyphony, one thing I can say about the game is that it already look gorgeous as always in RT prioritizing Framerate mode, so what Im trying to say here after watching this videos of the PS5 Pro games comparisons in this case GT7 I can easely say is totally not worth the 300 bucks more and yes it really feels like a scam from Sony this time around, people can defend the PRO the times they want to but that wont change fact or the reality of things that the PS5 Pro feels like a scam at that price point, that thing should cost no more than 500 dlls and the normal PS5 even less, heck the PS5 Pro doesnt even come with a freaking disc drive, seriously I love the PS5 Console history, I had each one of them in the past but this time around... There's no RT reflections on car glasses, and on the UPS car example it shows how this sucks... Two different type of reflections with both having great sizes are very noticeable, even though, most of the time you will not notice
Yes, there are differences, but at the end of the day I don't think are enough to convince an average user to to pay ~1000 euros (800 plus ~150 for the br tray) and buy the Pro..
a couple more reflections, +10 fps and a bit more detailed background signs which u never notice while driving. all that for 800 dollars men console players really must hate themself its funny to watch how hard they try to make out the differences and present them to us u really have to search for it hahah

Ryzen 3700 is 120 bucks Mainboard 60 bucks 16GB DDR4 is 27bucks 500GB nvme SSD is 30 bucks cheap PC cases cost 30 bucks 2 arctic fans are 13 bucks thermaltake 700 watts PSU is 50 bucks DVD drive is 5 bucks from ebay thats 695 bucks.. 5 bucks cheaper then the PS5 pro and eventually even cheaper if u get good deals or if u buy the case, fans and NVME from ebay or craigslist. And if we add a DVD drive and 1 year of Playstation online costs, we can add another 200 bucks to the PC. Gaming on PC costs no money, its free. And our dvd drive just cost us 5 bucks and not 100 bucks. With 200 bucks additionally we can add another 16GB of ram, better fans and a rx 7800xt into this PC (cost currently on black friday is 479 bucks for an Sapphire Pulse rx 7800xt in my country) u can build an absolutely awesome for 700 to 900 bucks nowadays. the stock PC is already faster then the PS5 pro but we can even overclock the PC if we want to gain additonal 10% performance. and games are way cheaper, especially if they are bought from the humble bundle, steam summer sale or key sites. anyone who does the math will see that the PS5 pro is a total rip off. the only reason to use a PS5 pro is to play exclusive titles like GT7 but the price is not worth it just to get some better reflections. but with Assetto Corsa Evo around the corner the PC can be used to play that instead.
I play on ps4 slim and game looks good. I don’t know what extra fine goodness yall want from this game. It’s already good they should focus on content.

PS4 has very slow loading times and the PS5 is fast but the PS5 is better, these players on PS4 are missing out a lot mate. So at least you should upgrade to a PS5.

It’s just not a well priced product, simple as that. If they had dropped the base ps5 to $350 and made this $500-550, then it would be worth it.
I love driving in 1st person and it bothers me how the inside of the car doesnt reflect any light from its surroundings, even in broad daylight but I dont got that kind of money to fix smth small like that 😭💀💀

I doubt PS5 Pro will run GTA VI at 60 fps. That’s the only reason I’d trade my slim for the pro. But let’s see.
