Well.. they kinda of are, not the same exact dirt you accumulated during a race but spread as dust. Hence, after a few races your car loses out in the shine and metallic touch of its paint - washing it actually makes the car color pop and shine. Try it ^^ I usually do this to my blue C6 with chrome rims, it actually annoys me how noticeable the dirt and brake dust are, I wash it once a week after online sessions.

He meant much along the line of my response - the gloss/metallic paint and rims lose their shine looking like matte after a while, hence requiring a wash, since dont notice it then yay you dont need the wash like the rest of us do ^^
@@MyWorld-dv1ym Drive club was not competing against GT. It was an arcade racer and felt like the old NFS games. They also still have some of the most accurate and robust audio recordings in a game. I had access to BMW and MB's cad data for our advertising and the DriveClub audio files they requested from Evo studios are still used today because they are the most detailed recordings for certain cars. It was also a game that had extremely passionate people who love cars developing it.
Well, in visuals it was definitely striking but in application and simulation it was lacking. GT has one of the most robust atmosphere simulations I've seen in a game period. But DC didn't have to be realistic so it really doesn't matter that much because it was an arcade game after all.
What I'll like to see in the next installment of gt is a debris affect. Where being behind an opponent and if there is dirt, water or any elements on the road or track can effect your car. Flying rocks or rubber will hit your car cause cracks or chips. Elements causing your car to get dirty or paint chips in game while in a middle of a race. If you're behind an opponent and it kicks dirt or sand into your windshield, you can use windshield washers to clean it.
The UFO takes a cow from Mt Panorama and deposits the same cow at Gran Valley. Pretty cool attention to detail in this game. If only they put the same effort into fixing the broken penalty system...
Compared to what? They aren't overdone like on other games. They may sound fake when racing but they're realistic. Watch back on replays from different angles and they're realistic
The only request I have for the next instalment is all new tracks please. Don’t need remade versions of tracks that have been around forever. Go all out & render as my real world circuits you can. A tall order but it can be done especially with updates. Let’s start fresh after 7 games plus GT sport I’m so tired of the same tracks
Hello, I'm stuck at item number 33 on the cafe menu, which is the WTC600. I'm not sure what kind of vehicle you suggest and how to tune it? I played it with a controller.
If polyphony digital releases an Open World Game with this insame level of detail and graphical realism , theyre gonna rule that genre of games... This is coming from someone who has 1,500+ hrs in FH5 alone😬, the only thing theyd have to fix is the Stiff TPP which is perfect for a curcuit racer game where finding the perfect line is priority. All they gotta do is copy Horizons series camera , thats it.
GT7 most definitely has fog. It has an atmosphere sim running in the background that calculates ambient Temps and moisture content of the air for things like fog and mist. They also run that against real world location data depending on the track.
The engine sounds are amazing, hardly to tell on a cell phone. Screaming 4 bangers and the v10s make the hair on my neck stand up with my surround system

You can manually turn lights on. There's literally button mapping for that and wiper blades. Also what do you mean about pinballs? And you have to take your hands off the wheel to shift an h-pattern manual car.
I think that depends on the wheel you’re using. The Logitech wheels are pretty noisy but ones made by Thrustmaster or Fanatec are actually smooth and pretty quiet
l meant the noises of the suspensions you can hear when in outside cam, everytime you drive on the curb: it just sounds a little weird and the same for every car. ) and yes you need to move your hand to shift gear but no driver keeps a hand comfy on the stick; you’d always have both firmly attached to the wheel. the lights l find funny in real life too: they became a stupid decoration instead of functional device. and in racing they are always on both front and rear. in road motorbikes it has always been like this, for safety. now cars have funny lights in the front as if anybody would be impressed but the light show 😂 but don’t get me wrong: l love the attention to detail of this game! l play GT since the launch of GT1 ❤ and great video again!

Yet when it comes to me stating all the facts and not using my own opinions, he will try to reason and even call GT7 a better looking game, yet everywhere else he just dogs it as much as possible with his unknown knowledge about what he is saying. He told me he prefers a more unrealistic approach. He prefers chase cam too. He doesn't like realism. This is actually what he has told me. So realism is bad in video games. He's not trying to experience reality in a video game. This is true. He told me these things on other videos. A stiffer chase cam is done in many actual sim racers. I don't know every specific, but I do know it helps us see the direction the car is pointing in corners. I know for wheel users like me, if I wanted to use chase cam for some odd reason, it would be easier with a stiffer camera angle. If the camera moved like FM, I can't control it with a wheel. The sensation is really off. With practice, maybe. But it still feels off FM also gives a wider FOV for that sense of speed. It is not realistic You want sense of speed, then play in cockpit view or VR. Because that is more realistic.

FM basically has on off switches for weather. There is no active simulation for weather based on any real world parameters.
