I legit force quit the game when i know she drug me to change my answer but it doesnt change the result. Edit: guys I am just shocked and curious if I can change how the story goes just like in kafka quest, and the only way to change dialogue option that have been selected is force quit, not because I was mad. Screwllum isn't that bad. He only lied once and mildly, for the sake of tricking Silver Wolf (I forgot how exactly the trick went tho). Anyway, unlike the selfish members of the society, he wasn't doing this just for himself.
The interesting thing is that this quest actually acts well in support of Dr. Ratio’s considering that he is against the blind following of the Genius Society to the degree that people don’t think for themselves. This quest actually shows why he’s right

This is the thing I like about star rail. It gives u ACTUAL CHOICES of dialogue and u will have a real sense of choosing what to say. Not like genshin lmao their dialogue choice is like breaking a full sentence into two and letting u to choose the front or the behind part of the sentence only. Even though some of hsr and genshin way of choosing dialogue wouldn't affect the outcome, hsr do let u have the feeling of making choices. Not to mention that in hsr some of them even have different outcomes, some can be major like kafka quest, while some can be minor like this one. It makes u actually pay attention and care about the story. At this point genshin's shit way of dialogue choices is probably only there to prevent players from afking lol

She just complains and whines about everything, and that's not even getting into all the exposition she spouts! And her character does NOTHING to help! I've mainly seen that kind of feedback in western communities (LATAM, English-speaking, etc) and I think it could be due to cultural differences, since the game was made in China with a heavy JP influence, like most Mihoyo games. Overall, Asian cultures (CN, KR and JP) are more about saving face/appearances and avoid conflict whenever possible even at your own individual expense. Western people are more the types of people to the tell you the truth even if it hurts and are more direct so the options Hoyoverse gives to the player might feel frustrating if you're from global.
