Animated scene from honkai star rail, I didn't do much with the movement but I make the facial more alive hehe

there was a dialogue about past and different worlds with familiar faces between them...
kinda spoilery, but w/e. She told she had to kill "her" Welt in her world
I'm sure he did. He even tried to ask Acheron about his name to see if she might be the same Raiden Mei from the world of HI3, but she's not.

Acheron recognizing Star of Eden shocked and scared me ngl. Like woman who are you?! Why do you know what a divine key is?!
Animating this scene made it even more tense and made me feel that all over again.
If you didn't watch her Myriad Trailer then maybe. The 9th Sword of Izumo is the Star of Eden in the form of a sword, so it's pretty obvious that she recognised it.
I have a feeling that all she knows is what it can do not the name or it’s origin

I was not expecting this type of friendship between Welt and Acheron, but I enjoyed it.
Idk if this counts as friendship. These two seemed almost standoffish.
It's definitely a budding friendship, especially knowing welt's past, he certainly has personal bias that tends to be friendly with acheron (she's basically HSRs depressed raiden mei from HI3rd)@@lelouchvibritannia4028

Despite being on the defensive, he probably wanted to trust her in the end since he knew Raiden Mei from his own world. He was also a kind of mentor to Bronya who was her friend after all, he probably wouldn’t want animosities with an alternate version of his acquaintances.
@@lelouchvibritannia4028the rest of the dialogue in game which was like a solid 30 min to an hour of dialogue between then showed they came to be friendly and even resonates wit each other a bit. i get how this specific convo makes them look tho 😂
You know I really got to love the fact that the VA for Welt is actually using his real voice and not using a impression, And I think the same goes with with Himekos, using their natural voices for their roles is very promising, also for Acheron, I do think Allegra Clark nails Acheron, making her feel menacing with the tone, and a little cute.
I was one of those people at first that was disappointed that they did not have Anne Yatco voice Acheron, like how they used Miyuki Sawashiro to voice every Raiden variant in all their games. But Allegra Clark's performance is SO good, she definitely sounds like a Raiden Mei that's older and more "tired" after everything she has been through.
I thought she's a perfect fit. Some didnt like that Raiden Ei's EN voice wasnt casted, but I honestly think this voice fits Acheron's personality more
@@theglobalwarming6081Ann Yatco would’ve been nice to have since it’s usually the case Hoyoverse characters sound the same. But I prefer Yatco’s accent as shogun, and dunno if it’d fit a “galaxy ranger” like Acheron.

It was Welt having an EN voice actor that really got me hyped for this game. The number of times I relistened to him on the website were numerous.
ofc because his voice is like his natural voice and his breathing pause make it much more real and more emotion compared to other one. i definitely only prefer his english va
I was a bit let down by Welt's EN voice at first - too used to Honkai Impact's JP Welt and his deep assured tone and calm authority. EN Welt at the start sounded too hesitant, as if he was about to change his mind with every sentence or pause.
I think he did step up here, though.
i wish Hi3 had english dub voices i think more people would play it, big turns offs for people was no english voices and cast all women
@@225Reaver honestly I feel like for an english audience, a super deep voice just wouldn't suit him. The slightly gravelly, still somewhat deep voice is perfect.
After all, if you go too low, it starts to sound.... cartoon-y. Which is fine for characters like Argenti, but Welt is a very serious guy.
The en dub of star rail is honestly amazing overall, but I love the more "realistic" (aka, less forced/acted) voices like Welt's and Himeko's.

@VarsVerum well, everyone has their own type of game they like, so seeing that they're not notice the existence of 2 other channels of your is probably that they're not interested those game like genshin impact or HSR or Super Smash Bros. etc, or simply don't know much about the game.
But hey, it's not like you force them to check out the other stuff that you're doing or get interested in those game, and I'm sure that your videos on 2 other channels will find their way to the people who interested in the game and topic. Keep doing what you're doing, dude 👍

Welt and Acheron have such a close relationship that even after going to another universe, Welt can still feel familiar with Acheron and she feels the same way

Some people tend to forget that at the end of the day, he may be semi-retired but he is also the Sovereign, ex-Commander and last-line-of-defense warrior for Anti-Entropy, the organization that protects Earth from godly powerful threats.
Many of his apprentices may have far surpassed him in terms of shear power, but he is one of the most capable and intelligent warriors in his earth's history and not someone to be trifled with.

only critasisum is i would have zoomed out more to get the full shot of the 2 people, especiaully when he thretend her you do a quick zoom out to get the cane in view, if you do a full body shot it shows he is imposing on her.

HSR (and Genshin) need so much more nuance to their animations! Just this glimpse makes me want it even more.

I remember back when 2.7 dropped, someone animated the scene where Yelan and Itto almost get into a fight and it was such a vast improvement. Because they used very limited animations in the game it felt stiff, but in the video the scene's tention was conveyed much better.

I love how Welt's threat was delivered with such a cold line and Acheron knowing very well what he is capable of completely dismisses him as a "ok sure", puts into perspective how strong she is.
I love the concept of taking a in game moment and giving it more life by adding subtle yet effective gestures, they make it more organic and atone for the VA. I really liked this the animation
This is amazing work. Acheron's transition from interested to a little cocky was super smooth. And Welt was downright terrifying

Fuck welt just really shot to the top of my list with being one of my favourite characters with these lines, absolute peak fiction this entire game has become. I still want Acheron to come back later on in the story at some point though cuz she is my favourite with firefly being 2nd and now welt 3rd
I cannot emphasize enough how much this made Welt my favorite character! I hate it when you’re forced to just accept the mad suspicious person as your ally who YOU HAVE 0 TRUST FOR! I don’t know much of anything about Acheron except that she wields immense power, and killed a group of hyped up villains with such ease she doesn’t remember it. Seeing Welt putting the fear of God into her is by far the coolest thing ever.

the lil details like the eyes of welt moving side to side but also staring at acheron while he was aproaching her with the "rumors" around her... just perfect

Why can't we have more beautiful animated cutscenes like this for every Genshin Impact and Hokai: Star Rail dialogue scenes, I'm aware that animation is a lengthy process and the animators such as Zannir is going many hours (possibly without sleep), that this love and passion for a game we all love should be given this much care as well. But Zannir, keep making beautiful animations when you can, I still love your work no matter when I see it.
