For spiced rums, my shoutout goes to Plantation Pineapple. It's sweet, it's very pineapply, but nevertheless it's a good neat sipping rum for when you want a sweet, deeply fruity aroma. It works as a fantastic contrast to a peaty scotch; having the Plantation Pineapple in one glass and a Laphroaig or a Ledaig 10 in another is just amazing.
Was recently in Mexico. I always drink a mojito with Havana Club Anejo. They ran out HC so I asked for Flor de Cana 7. I didn't see the pour, but that was what was requested. The drink had an initial cinnamon then identifiable clove flavor. After a few of those I was totally craving that flavor. I only got 3 drinks with that flavor and never got to the bottom of what rum had that flavor. Now I am on a quest to find a rum with similar flavors. I'm guessing it was a spiced rum, definitely not Captain Morgan's, but couldn't have been something exotic since this was a resort. Any ideas please comment below!

As it turns out Steve I was staring at a bottle of Don Q spiced yesterday afternoon, it will be my next rum purchase. I also recently bagged 3 bottles of Worthy Park 109, it's my new best friend!🍻
Pusser’s is Available in the USA and is one of my favorites. Guyana rum is one of favorite areas for rum and keeps me into rum. Love the body and the coffee, chocolate and flat cola. I have to agree on Plantation pineapple rum. The smokey one is fantastic and is great with ginger beer.

Has anyone tried the Salford Spiced rum recently? I know it's been reviewed here before, but my most recent few bottles have been quite harsh...anyone else found that? Sad to see such a lovely rum change.
Hi guys, can anyone recommend a spiced rum that taste like ginger and cinnamon and cloves? Tried one in bar, but the owner refused to tell me which brand was it. Really wanna find that taste!
90% of Spiced Rums have Ginger, Cinnamon and Cloves...along with many other Spices. In fact, it's only the really heavy Vanilla forward Rums (Capt Morgs/Kraken/Bumbu/Don Papa) that probably don't have Cinnamon & Ginger.
While Pusser's rum is available in the US, we can only get the regular strength, the gunpowder proof, and the 15-year. None of these are spiced rums. We cannot get the regular or the gunpowder proof spiced rums from Pusser's. The only option I've seen is to order from Whisky Exchange, but the cost of shipping to the US is so prohibitive, I haven't been able to justify the expense.

Can't believe I still havent tried the Pussers or the Chaimans. So many rums to get through. Its a never ending list.

Love the Arrangé rums especially in Daqs! I recently bought Bayou spiced and I'm enjoying that. Rumbullion and Black Tears also need a mention 👍

Ha, I don’t get on with Stiggins Smoky. It’s not too in your face, but just gives me shades of Laphraoig which I don’t like. 🫣😂

Pussers gunpowder spiced cannot be purchased in the US. A friend in the UK brings me a bottle on every trip

I can't beat lambs spiced rum £18 a litre and is the best I've ever tasted . Also a little left field discarded banana peal rum amazing.

At Bar shows, yeah. Too sticky and sweet for me. But pretty good for mass market. 👍
