I've used most of these products. Optimum Car Wax attracts dust like crazy. Souveran is the best looking but doesn't last. Collinite 845 is pretty good, but the best of all of these is Finish Kare FK1000p as it has the best balance of ease of application, removal, appearance and durability! Great protection and rejection of dirt. Holds up extremely well after all these years.
For anyone interested in p21 you can go to a Harley shop or get online s100. It's the identical wax as p21s but labeled for motorcycles. Plus its lots cheaper for same amount
I have tried many of these and Fusso is my go-to durable base coat for everything. I struggle to find anything that comes close to matching its durability. But it does lack depth and warmth. I have found the combination of sonax brilliant shine detailer on top of this. Beautiful durability. I enjoyed this video very much!
Your great comparisons led me to try FK1000 Hi Temp paste wax (sealant)on my Hazard Yellow SS Ute.I was a wax guy before and rate the Autoglym HD wax highly but the more i suffer from my detailing OCD i realise that the color of the paint, its thickness, condition of the clear coat, the shapes and curves of your ride all jump into the mix to shape all of our individual opinions on different products.Anyway, i am loving the FK1000 wet candy look on my Yellow paint it looks fantastic. Living here in hot and humid Darwin i went with the FK1000 for its heat resistance, high gloss, and great reports on its longevity (I hope). I wash my SS with the Megs Wash and Wax I know you rate this wash too and with the FK1000 the glow is spectacular. Interestingly, i did a test with PS21 and AG HD waxes each on half of the tail gate and my verdict was they didn't add any noticeable bling at all to an all ready impressive glow. But as usual the wax caught the exhaust mist from my 3" catbak leading to that bit of a build up on the back of the gate whereas the FK1000 doesn't suffer anywhere near the same effect and is much cleaner between washes. Hope this feedback paid it forward a bit for you and others. Love your work ! FK1000 so underrated !
Spot on Sandro about FK1000 on light colors as i said I have FK1000 on my Yellow VE SS Ute but also have just put it on our family Mazda CX7 Metro Gray and although the Gray on the CX7 shines nicely its the Yellow that gives off that head turning Rock Hard Candy look. I have wondered what Nova Jet or Reload might look like over the top of FK1000. Would i just be wasting my money? ? Maybe I have caught the Unicorn in FK1000 on this color?
Another good vid mate. Hi Temp is my go to for all the boats I do here in LongIsland NY. It's also my winter wax and my customers love it because the salt and sand come right off. As a professional the cost durability and look all are a winner. I recently received Finish Kare pink wax as a freebie and it has wax as well as polymers and the look is definitely warmer and it is also very economical. Keep up the great work. I have this, Dark, on a Silver car. Application, not as pleasant as Collinite Paste waxes, and not ad glossy as well.. smell is quite a strong chemical smell, not too bad, but compared to some more modern waxes/sealants, but something I can live with since it has virtually ceramic coating like water repellency and extreme durability👍
Still very enjoyable as I got to learn some great things about some big name waxes that don't get the same attention as more recent LSPs (for obvious reasons). Awesome roundup
Just tried some Finish Kare 1000p this weekend and holy moly you didnt lie! This stuff has amazing results, the beeding with 2 coats is great and the paint looks like a mirror! Applying it is a bit tricky at first, but doing small sections while spreading the wax like a polish at first worked really well for me, did the entire hood and roof in 1 minute each! The only thing I still struggle with, is the buff off; the wax always seemed a bit grabby when buffing off after about 10-15minutes, is that an indication I should wait a little longer or less?
Great to hear you got some great results! The difficult wipe off would generally relate to waiting too long - you want to see a bit of haze but it shouldn’t entirely dry up as that makes the wipe off much harder!
ps21. Hands down the best value for dollar. After using many waxes, this is the best. Now you will get reviews that will it's too hard to use. That might be because it's sat on a shelf; it does harden, but you simply can set it in the sun while doing your car magic and the wax becomes soft again (idiots). Again, I will not use any other wax and I've been detailing cars for over 20 years.
Really enjoyed this video. You should consider the following waxes from Chemical Guys: Peter's 53, Butter Wet Wax, 50/50 Connoisseur. Also you should try Collonite 845 on top of Menzerna Power Lock Sealant. It's an amazing combination.
I have a question: which one held up the longest after a month in heavy rain and hot sunny days? I'm more concerned about durability than how shiny it looks.
Fusso Coat is a pretty strong sealant and would most likely have removed most of the p21 under it. Try using Fusso as the base sealant and p21 as the topper, it'd look much better and the p21 won't remove the Fusso Coat, once Fusso is on it's hard to remove.
Collinite 845 is the best for value!! Very easy to work with Lasts for 6-9 months Cheap Its a hybrid wax Repels water really good Gives a decent depth and shine. Pro tip: Put the bottle in a bowl of hot water for a couple min, then shake it. It is now liquid and even more easy to apply. You can also put a spray head into the bottle for even easier use! For example fusso coat lasts for around 6-12 months, but it is waaay harder to work with and it does not give the best finish compared to collinite 845. But it repels water maybe 10% better
@@dimmacommunication 845 is easier to apply but having said that Fusso Coat isn't hard to apply either. I use Fusso Coat as my base sealant and top it with 845, works a treat. Fusso lasts considerably longer than 845 IMO.

Only recently I decided to buy FK1000P without seeing this review, so no I`m even more confident. I intended to use on rims and engine bay, but I`ve heard is not good for trim and plastic, so no engine? thanks
What would you say beads water more High temp wax or the fusso coat and also is it worth getting the white fusso coat for light coloured cars and getting the black one for darker coloured cars like how they are advertised and is there any main difference in the two or just get the darker one like what you’ve shown and just use it on all coloured cars. ?
Fusso is insane for water behaviour and as far as dark vs light, I use the light and it's excellent. At the end of the day clear coat is clear so the colour doesn't matter, as I found out by waxing my son's dark car....No difference at all.
HD proxy is some good stuff. Not as strong as most synthetic but on a light car it's ability to handle higher head before failing like carnauba it's nice. Montana wax handles alot more heat and gives really good shine.
Great video! Thank you for trying Optimum car wax! Your assesment of all of these waxes were spot on. I have had good luck using OCW to maintain corrected headlights on a Honda that I only see once every 6 months and in the past 2 years they are still perfectly crystal clear. So I am a firm believer in those patented uva and uvb inhibitors. Fk1000p is the easiet paste wax I've used but I prefer to use non-staining waxes that can be applied directly over rubbed and textured plastic like d156, poxy, ocw, opti-seal. I'd love to hear your thoughts on trim protection. Whether you seal them with a non-staining sealant or use more tradional dressings or even trim specific products and coating. Keep the content coming.
i love using HD speed or Optimum poli-seal to clean up old faded plastics. There are certainly some heavy textured plastics that I stay away from but I find that even lightly textured plastics can be polished over safely with these two all in one polishes.. The biggest thing for me is just watching the machine speed so I don't create too much heat.
Very nice review!! I've tried a few of those and my favorite hands down is the Soft 99. It's the most durable "paste wax" I've ever used but I do want to try the Finish Kare.
Hi Sandro, What's the best polish to Finish up with after a good compound correction, in your opinion? Is there something better than CarPro Essence? Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish vs CarPro Essence?
What's the best option for Toyota's soft paint which also is in black color..? Car has 200k km... Car sits all day under the hot sun, So i need something it won't hurt clear coat and of course it will protect it. I used SRP and it left stains on paint for some reason i don't understand... I did apply it on a cloudy day and not very warm weather.
So from what I'm getting from your video that soft 99 should be applied and then a wax afterwards? To get to shine? Right now I have the soft 99 and the p21S in my shopping cart and I was trying to determine which one to buy but maybe I should buy both. Lol appreciate your time this video has gave me a good Insight on the few major waxes I plan on putting on my shelf thank you
Definitely either leave the 845 in the sun or let soak in hot water. Turns completely liquid. I wouldn't spray it personally because a little goes a long way and even a full spray would be enough for a whole hood.
Only if you let Fusso Coat set like concrete. Use less and remove before it dries, also apply with a slightly damp applicator and you'll change your mind.
In no way does Optimum Car Spray Wax have any durability, not any real shine. I bought a gallon of it, used about half of it, and am disappointed. No water beading whatsoever. Excellent video, BTW.
Car Craft Auto Detailing Thanks for the reply. If for example I was more comfortable applying a wax would you recommend one and have an idea of durability? If not what sealant would be easy applied or would you recommend?
Car Craft Auto Detailing In my experiences tell that it doesn’t last like Fusso but really close though. I have 14 LSP durability test going on in Finnish detailing forum where is also Fusso and DSW.
Great video. Is there any reason that you tested Collinite 476 and 845 over the Collinite 915 Marque D' Elegance? I find the 915's gloss level and durability to be superior over 845, and much easier to work with than 476. I have also found 915's gloss level to be as good, if not better than 21S.
Car Craft Auto Detailing Collinite 915 is a bit more difficult to remove than 845, but nothing as hard as 476, which dries like concrete. If I'm going to apply Collinite by hand, I use 915 and get much better results over the 845. However, if I have time limitations, I grab the 845 and apply it with a DA polisher, which lays down an extremely thin coat for easier removal. The secret with 845 is to warm the bottle with hot water and shake the heck out of it to get a smooth liquid constancy. But in comparison, the 915 paste wax version provides much more gloss and depth, especially noticeable on black paint. Try a pot of 915 Marque D' Elegance! At $35.95 (USD), the performance is incredible and stacks up to the products that are much more costly.
I hope you do some waterbeading of your van , with the reflex and that white shark wax on. Have you tried the Wolfgangs Fuzion wax? I think meguiars paste wax is also a good product !!
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Yes. Yes.Yes! Please. Your reviews and comparassion are the best so thats why im asking you :). Thank you. I will wait for that video to come.
Great, now I'm gonna have to pick up a tub of Finish Kare HTW to compare it to the 845 and 476 I have. The 476 definitely lasts but I can only put it on a panel at a time to make sure I can get it of easy. Another great video.
Great and honest review of those waxes/sealants! I know most of them and fully agree with your opinions. Black Hole (and its sister White Diamond) does hide light swirls! Further more, and why i use it, it makes your clean paint ultimate smooth and add depth. But as said it doesn't protect well - 1 week or the first rain shower. ;) Because it has an acrylic base and contains no oils you can use it under both wax and sealant. And my favorite combination is Black Hole or White Diamond topped up with the Finish Kare 1000p mentioned here. Durability 5-6 months. Black Hole and White Diamond are adding the depths which lacks in Finish Kare. Try and be amazed! :)
I'm using Soft99 The Kiwami Extreme Gloss Wax (dark). Nice deep gloss and great durability (2 - 4 months). Top up with my 'custom CarPro PERL spray wax 1:20' and the gloss is insane. It's like 2 layer of paint protection film (PPF).
Car Craft Auto Detailing for a medium grey car. Looking for durability and great shine. Would you rather recommend fusso soft99 or Wolfgang 3.0 high gloss?
Car Craft Auto Detailing that answers my question. Thanks!!! I love gloss and don’t mind sealing my car every 5 months. I live in San Diego, California so rain and grime is not really an issue, thus the Wolfgang will be my next buy. Thanks again, and keep up the great work!!
hello, can u suggest me which product. I'm looking for deep wet shine, easy application and easy to buff. about durable, l don't think it. because I always waxing almost every day.
i really want some crystal rock (swissvax ) any thoughts? worth the money? i have seen lots of demos but no real review.2019 G class on order, no off road plans and i dont want a coating.
Good review mate...I've only used 4 of these products so I will comment on those. I'm a big fan of OSW for fast application, use on multiple surfaces and ease of removal. Can be applied in direct sunlight, wet/dry surfaces and has high gloss content. It's a great product for low budget jobs. Collinite 476 was one of the first paste waxes I tried but found you have to RUB in to get temp up. Never noticed marring but I let it dry too long once and paid price. It is one of the sweat waxes cause you get a sweat up applying it and has impressive durability. On the other hand Finish Kare HTW is like applying butter and is not a sweat wax. I love it, the ease of application is best on ground. Also good for metals and top coat against aussie sun. This is my next level in terms of when customers pay more for protection than a spray wax. I use Fusso a fair bit, which I love for it's durability. I do find hard to apply compared to HTW. I may be the only person in the world who feels there is an art to using this stuff. With the amount PETE and silicon it kicks all comers in hydrophobicity and durability but the payback is careful application is needed and thin coating a necessity. For me the chemicals that make it so durable make it tricky to apply and is my top level paint protection and I charge accordingly. Fusso also can be a little crumbly when applying meaning more cleanup. I believe Fusso application is like applying a coating where I have to be mindful of high spots and make sure I smooth these out before moving on. It's also a sweat wax and once it's on and cured good luck getting it off. This and Collinite are the 2 waxes you have to buff before they dry or the polisher has to come out. The biggest draw back with Fusso is once applied you CANNOT rest anything on your bonnet or roof anymore as it just slides off so for me it also takes slickness award. I was told that some people before clear coats came out and cars were made of steel would wash car and wipe kero on to protect paint and metals. We've come along way since then. After watching all your reviews what I am most impressed with is the amount of products you have accumulated over the years. I imagine your garage is the size of the MCG!!!
Car Craft Auto Detailing I found fusso is a bit hard to remove too, but not sure why the wash after a week got rid of the streaks and it looks really good to me. And the water behavior is amazing, Also waiting a weekend to try out sonax polymer netshield + BSD.
Tomato Industries Detailing just did fusso coat on black car, this stuff is hard to do, I get crazy haze after I wipe it off. Maybe use it as winter wax. Gonna buy 845 see if its bit more user friendly, plus use orbital to put it on..
Awesome video keep the good up But I would like to know which is the best wax in your eyes If I could ask another question can you apply a coat of wax over any ceramic coating
Hi Sandro, love your videos. I'm looking to buy a sealant and wax and layer them. I was wondering if I could layer P21s carnauba wax with either Menzerna Power Lock or Wolfgang Deep Gloss?
Fantastic Chanel👍 I surprised you didn't like 845 that much,I have heard so much good about it and was thinking of buying it but maybe not..😊 I'm looking for depth of shine in a crystalwhite Volvo V70 sport, what do you recommend?
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Pinnacle Is to expensive I think, it's better to start with the cheaper one at first then you can appreciate the expensive one better when you start buying them.🤔😊 I have the meguairs ultimate paste wax that I think I will give a try.I hope to see more of wax reviews on the Chanel,I like your way of explaining how your experience with every wax has been.👍
I like Poorboy's World and Meguiars but can't find waxes of these two brands nearby where I live . Have seen Turtle Wax but I don't like it very much ( I have tried Turtle Wax ice , difficult to buff , I had to rub hard ) Actually I use CarPlan Fast Wax , a little known british brand and the result is okay .
If you can get your hands on it over there j recommend you try turtle wax ICE paste wax. It's a pretty durable wax. I put a layer on last Oct and it's just now dying in May and that's through winter here and all the salt in Michigan. Here it's a retail product and can be gotten at most auto parts stores. If it's not available there, then maybe it's not worth it for you, but I'd put it against any other retail wax here in the states.
No natural occurring wax in that one. Pure synthetic. In the late 2000's my co-workers swore by this, and yes we were also Michigan. Very often it would still be repelling water well into spring.
Well it is not very smart to think that price is = value or if you pay something more that is way to respect something more or less. Sorry but that is so low.... Great video about waxes thats for sure, thanks :) cheers
poorboy's World waxes are sun friendly, easy to use, and smell great! - I do use FK1000p more, due to its durability, however. but for cars that I don't mind waxing more frequently, Poorboy's
Another great review. thumbs up friend. In your opinion, which is the most shiny glossy wax . i mean the most glossy wax u can top up over a sealent/ceramic coating ?
Mate, I want to the best wax to protect my van's roof, they all go bad, I'm trying to delay that day, I need protection, not going for showroom finish, anyways, nice to hear from a Melbourne Lad .. go pies
Fusso coat could be the best affordable & longer lasting option - maybe trying to reapply it every 4-6mths. Apart from UV damage, the other reason van roof paint goes bad is because it’s a large canvas for environmental fallout - so claying the roof once of twice a year before your apply your wax is a great idea. Car Craft Auto Detailing In my experiences tell that it doesn’t last like Fusso but really close though. I have 14 LSP durability test going on in Finnish detailing forum where is also Fusso and DSW.
Can you do a video on your favorite pre wax cleaning methods, and products for final pre wax application. Thx
What sealants did the Pinnacle Wax bond to the best/worst?
$30 for Maguires cleaner wax where are you buying it from. In my local auto parts store it’s about eight dollars wow
Between Meguiar's NXT Tech wax 2.0 vs Deep cristal vs Ultimate. Which one do you prefer?
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Yes. Yes.Yes! Please. Your reviews and comparassion are the best so thats why im asking you :). Thank you. I will wait for that video to come.
Great, now I'm gonna have to pick up a tub of Finish Kare HTW to compare it to the 845 and 476 I have. The 476 definitely lasts but I can only put it on a panel at a time to make sure I can get it of easy. Another great video.
Hi, I'm thinking on buying Poorboys Black Hole.... does it really works to hide minor swirls marks ? Does it reduce the wax durability ?
It's like 2 layer of paint protection film (PPF).
kindly do a review of items like iron x , iron remover and tar removers. etc... how effective it is ... thanks in advance dear sandre !
What is the durability like with the p21s and in the uk it was called p21s but its now called R222
excellent presentation (as are all your videos) keep up the great work! Good to see the sound editing has improved also
Car Craft Auto Detailing for a medium grey car.
Duragloss 105 for me...
i really want some crystal rock (swissvax ) any thoughts? worth the money? i have seen lots of demos but no real review.2019 G class on order, no off road plans and i dont want a coating.
thanks for the quick reply. love your content.
Great video man, love the detail
btw, did u try bilt hamber finis wax? wats is ur experience with it?
Pestilence wash it with car soap, then you are good to go :)
Nice review mate. What wax would you recommend for a car with opticoat and black?
Awesome video keep the good up
But I would like to know which is the best wax in your eyes
If I could ask another question can you apply a coat of wax over any ceramic coating
will you review some zymol products please
How could this guy review top of the line waxes and not review Zymol?
Hi Sandro, love your videos. I'm looking to buy a sealant and wax and layer them. I was wondering if I could layer P21s carnauba wax with either Menzerna Power Lock or Wolfgang Deep Gloss?
Great, thanks for the quick response
Reccommended for mercedes black paint?
And I'm a beginner here ,never waxed.
I was thinking about the scholl w6 🤔
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thank's 😁 how much does it last on paint? is it shiny ?
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Thank's , I'm thinking even about the big white Hi temp wax, since you said it's easier than fusso 🤔
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing In the end I've chosen Duragloss 105 , super good 🤩🤩
Have you tried angelwax halo or enigma? I wanna know wich seems better
Car Craft Auto Detailing I will buy guardian by the way you like it
Finish kare is a sealent not a wax it has a menting point of 250c
Fantastic Chanel👍 I surprised you didn't like 845 that much,I have heard so much good about it and was thinking of buying it but maybe not..😊 I'm looking for depth of shine in a crystalwhite Volvo V70 sport, what do you recommend?
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing Pinnacle Is to expensive I think, it's better to start with the cheaper one at first then you can appreciate the expensive one better when you start buying them.🤔😊 I have the meguairs ultimate paste wax that I think I will give a try.I hope to see more of wax reviews on the Chanel,I like your way of explaining how your experience with every wax has been.👍
Have you ever tested those Waxes out of China that mimic top lines.
Can I layer different sealants?
Good video. How does Fusso coat compare to Cquartz pro in terms of water beading?
Thanks. Great channel. Subscribed. Thinking of buying one them. Watching your awards video and adding things to my cart.
Great job. Have u tried nano skin majestic wax?
Have use tried sonax bsd or high speed wax as an lsp
Was very nice video. Thank you. But still difficult to decide 😊
No thank you it makes sense and you a very professional I'll be watch more of your videos
I like Poorboy's World and Meguiars but can't find waxes of these two brands nearby where I live . Have seen Turtle Wax but I don't like it very much ( I have tried Turtle Wax ice , difficult to buff , I had to rub hard )
Actually I use CarPlan Fast Wax , a little known british brand and the result is okay .
USE AMAZON
How long does w6 last
If you can get your hands on it over there j recommend you try turtle wax ICE paste wax.
I live in north east P.A. turtle wax ice will give you 6 months protection, beads water like crazy But you will work for it.
No natural occurring wax in that one. Pure synthetic.
In the late 2000's my co-workers swore by this, and yes we were also Michigan. Very often it would still be repelling water well into spring.
They have now discontinued turtle wax ice paste and liquid. :-(
Really good well done
Good review, do you have Autoglym Hd wax over there
Yes we do.
Great reviews top notch thanks
Great video! What about the new soft99 kiwami wax?
nice review again, very helpful for us who are not professional.thank you man
Can you use P21 over Fusso (if you get time to answer I'd be grateful)?
Just saw that you were in Byron Bay - many happy holidays spent there
You'd probably be best off using Optimum Car Wax over Fusso. Just because it's so easy to apply and inexpensive.
Awsome video I want to try fusso wax any good
W6+ wore off after 30 days and 2 washes. I’m sad as I liked it until I found this out
Great Job. Thank you.
Well it is not very smart to think that price is = value or if you pay something more that is way to respect something more or less. Sorry but that is so low.... Great video about waxes thats for sure, thanks :) cheers
great videos, very informative and still straight to the point, glad I came across your channel
You have not tried collinite 915?
Car Craft Auto Detailing ok thanks
You should they jayswax ceramic wax £70 for 200ml in a glass jar also autoglanz range has come a long way
poorboy's World waxes are sun friendly, easy to use, and smell great! - I do use FK1000p more, due to its durability, however. but for cars that I don't mind waxing more frequently, Poorboy's
Duragloss 105 ? works like a champion for me 😍
They must have stopped making nxt paste wax. Can't find it anywhere
2010stoof Halfords have it
@@danstokoe4285 they must only sell in the UK now
Another great review. thumbs up friend. In your opinion, which is the most shiny glossy wax . i mean the most glossy wax u can top up over a sealent/ceramic coating ?
Wat about Simoniz??
Collonite is 16$ in. Canada
well done !
Angelwax Enigma !
Car Craft Auto Detailing 350 for 250ml jar :)
Car Craft Auto Detailing yes, that’s my exit product haha :)
cud u make a video on clay bars starting from ultra fine.? dont wanna cause marring on brand new car. 😀
He sounds like Vision from avengers.

@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thanks mate!
Thanks for the video. Kindly suggest liquid wax for max longevity on hot weather please ?
Thanks. BTW what is the use of paste wax ?
That zooming in and out gave me a head ache, nice video though
Butter Wet Wax?
beautiful shine, very easy to use, again great shine, lasts 3-4 weeks
It does not last long at all.. Apply collinite 845 instead. Its even easier to use and lasts 6-12 months
Butter Wet Wax doesnt last. Easy to use tho
you should not be rubbing that stuff on your hand! chemicals nano particles v bad, should use gloves too
