    In this video, I want to talk about how you can wake up refreshed every morning. When you wake up, do you feel:
    • Grouchy
    • Irritable
    • Tired
    • Exhausted
    If so, this video is for you.
    The best indication of whether you’re well-rested or not is how you feel when you wake up in the morning and how you feel throughout the day.
    The most important factor in quality sleep and waking up feeling refreshed is the sleep hormone called melatonin. Melatonin is triggered when you aren’t exposed to light. When it’s dark at night, and less light is shining into your eye, it activates the pineal gland, which then turns serotonin into melatonin. This makes you tired.
    Any light source can potentially turn off the pineal gland and melatonin production. Melatonin is also vitally important for your immune system. Melatonin has numerous other functions as well. It’s used as an antioxidant, which helps prevent free-radicle damage.
    The problem with taking melatonin supplements is that your body then makes less of it. It’s not a fix to your problems.
    As you age, your melatonin decreases. This can cause poor sleep and immune function as you get older. It can also cause inflammation in the body.
    10-11 pm is a good time to go to bed.
    This is how you can enhance melatonin production before bed:
    1. Lights out before bed
    2. Water filter for removing fluoride
    3. Glycine
    4. Reduce blue light exposure
    5. Get sun and vitamin D during the day
    6. Lower stress, caffeine, and alcohol
    7. Keep your bedroom cool
    8. Avoid EMFs

      @@sl4983 I watched TH-cam - check out stuff about Adrenal, Adrenal Fatigue and just plain Sleep. I start every night with my “good morning list”, which sets me up for a great day. First thing on the list is to tidy the house, the second thing is to actually put on pajamas and wash my face and all that stuff but I have a list or I will forget to do it. I never had pajamas. I just fell asleep however I was. When I first started, I used some melatonin, a sleep mask, lavender essential oils in the diffuser, and thunderstorm videos on TH-cam. Some are 10 hours long. But as time has gone on, I haven’t had to do that. I set my alarm to go off at 8 PM. That is when I start my nighttime routine. Oh how I hate routines! Oh how much they have helped me! Good luck. I am not a doctor. Do what works for you. Try this stuff and if that doesn’t work tweak it until it does. They say to get sunshine in your eyes without sunglasses. They say to put your feet in the dirt during the day. I also tried jumping on a trampoline during the day. Dry brushing. I tried everything I could get my hands on. The stuff I mentioned above is what worked for me.

I am 36 years old and sleeping have never been my problem. Just give me a bed, pillow and blanket . If you have a problem sleeping pick up a Bible and see how fast you will fall asleep. Or declare this scripture over you

    I am so happy by this Video specially as a PhD engineering in renewable energy and hybrid propulsion, I always switch off everything in the bedroom or if I want to give the iPad for one hour to my daughter I switch off the wifi and all the connections, cause their body is smaller than us and they can't support the EMF as us... Also people who buy new houses they should pay attention around the new location if they have these EMF from high voltage installation, also limited the use of Bluetooth applications. As a scientific, I love technolgy, but we should balance and give a rest for our body to recharge like go for a walk without phones In the wild away from all that, walking without shoes is good to let the body take out all this storage energy...

      Go to sleep earlier so you have an opportunity for 8 full hours in bed. Wake up 3 hours before work. I usually get up , make coffee and exercise first thing in the morning. But when those random nights of tossing and turning actually do occur, you can still set the alarm for an extra 2 hours and 15 minutes before you have to go into your “getting ready for work routine”. Even in the event that you may not have slept well, you can stay in bed for 10 full hours of complete bed rest if you need it that morning. You will start to associate mornings with excitement instead of dread. I used to wake up and look at the clock and when I would see that I didn’t have much time left to sleep, I felt miserable knowing that I didn’t have much time left to sleep. But once I shifted my sleep schedule back like I mentioned, you will start associating waking up with wonderful coffee and exercise mornings and having time to get your peace before work.

    I find that I definitely get the best nights sleep when I’m on vacation and camping out in one of the state parks at one of those sights setup for tent camping, or primitive) areas without electricity or buildings;
    Those places are dead quiet and dark, very enjoyable in the cool autumn months ;
    I gently wake up as the sun rises and the birds as well as the other little animals slowly start stirring;
    Those are definitely the best nights sleeping;
    I definitely find myself in a very good state of mind and I’m very well rested ;
    Unfortunately I eventually have to return home and return to the rat race again;
    Oh brother,
    I can attest to how important that it is to get a proper amount of sleep each and every night;
    Proper sleep helps in the regulation of your weight it’s the balance that your body needs;
    It’s really important to shut down your electronics and turn off the lights and get into bed and go to sleep;
    Your body will thank you for taking care of yourself

    It depends. Sometimes I wake up feeling good but there are just days (like most of the time) 😅
    I get sleep inertia, tired, wanting to doze off for another hour and even irritable when
    I don't wake up early.
    Whenever I wake up earlier in the morning,
    I feel much better and relaxed.
    💓 Especially ~ when the sun hasn't risen yet.
    I conclude that it's better to wake up early for me because I felt more refreshed
    but the biggest challenge here is The *SLEEP* - It takes time management and habit.
    Wishing you all getting a cuddling restful sleep tonight 😍💕💤
    Wish me luck 😅 Having the right amount of sleep and waking up feeling good 😆

      I used to be exactly the same. As we get older we naturally start to carry extra weight. This can interfere with your breathing patterns in deep sleep. Got tested for sleep apnea and went on Cpap therapy. Changed my life. The reason you’re waking up with sleep apnea is because you temporarily stop breathing because your air way can close and suppress your breathing and the brain kicks in and says hey stupid you’re not breathing wake up. Seriously, nearly half the people with sleep apnea go undiagnosed and suffer through poor sleep their entire lives. Now I get 7 to 8 hours a night and sleep straight through.
