+Wye Explorer Thanks Mark. A very under-rated hill considering how few people you see up there Regadrs the footage (which was hand held) I was using a Casio Exilim camera. Very 'iffy' if you don't have a tripod (which is a little too much to lump around a hill !); so consequently stabilised later through TH-cam's Editor function. I now happily use a Panasonic HC--V720 which has an in-built stabiliser and gives good results, although 'Which' magazine rates their £100 cameras almost as good - Tony
Swifty Morgan Hi there Tony, now that sounds like a great bit of resourceful film work. The editor works a treat! I just checked out the Panasonic and it looks really good. Although I've looked I've never seriously considered a camcorder but I suspect they are designed for our kind of thing...outdoors.
