    You know what your videos are showing, besides the food, Mark ? That people all over the world are kind and friendly and go out of the way to make strangers feel at home. You are a world ambassador , Mark. Keep it up ; your videos will go a long way to bring world peace !

      If you met bad people in Jordan, those must be Kurdish people from Iraq. Jordanians are good people in general. Iraqi people are good people in general but the Kurds are not.

    • @David-R.
      @David-R. 8 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      I was just messing with you Sherwan. I have many good Kurdish friends and I love the Kurds. But i just wanted to give you a taste of your own medicine :) man you'll find bad people in every nation, but you can't really say ALL of that nation is bad, it's just not accurate. and if you say Jordanians are bad, it would be nice to explain how all Jordanians are bad rather than that broad statement. I really don't care, I'm born in the states and live in the States and here is my home. but I like fairness that's all.

    Can't agree more with the other commentaries that this series indeed is a Discovery TLC type of show that's worth watching on TV. You have brought us with you and enjoyed every bit there is to know about Jordan. I thought Jordan is just a place in the desert but after watching the show, I've just put Jordan in the must travel places before going into the sunset. All the food are so foreign but look so damn good. I savor the day that I taste each one of them. Can't wait where you'll go next and show that patented pleased expression of yours.

    I was in Amman, Jordan on 28th 29th Nov 18. I live in Leicester, England. On Thurs 29th I recd. wapp msg from my daughter who also lives in Leicester. The msg was, 'If u have time, go to Salahuddin Bakery, see the video via the link and try freshly baked sesame bread sandwich. I took a taxi around 5:45pm from west end of Amman. Gave the taxi driver the address of this bakery. However, got dropped in downtown of Amman at a bakery previously known as Salahuddin Bakery. After getting the assistance of several people, I ultimately found the place. Thurs evenings is peak time in this part. But as u said, this place was very busy. The shop assistant / other customers told me it's self service. But the shop assistant kindly made me a sandwich - exactly the way u had it. Very, very enjoyed it. Only 1 JD = £1.10. And had another one. Went next door and bought falafel. And the went next door to have freshly made kunafah. Thanks a lot. Tell the taxi driver Abdaali area, Ummay Ibn Abd Shams Street.

Thank you so much for this. Now I will not be so embarrassed when my mother in law prepares meals, I will know what it is I am eating.

    Just finished watching your entire Jordan series. Absolutely awesome videos! Definitely motivated to learn how to make some of this food at home! Also, I've been following your videos for a long time and you do such an incredible job. I lived in South Korea for a little bit, and your videos help keep the travel bug alive after moving back. Thank you for your hard work!

    Indeed, humble & amazing hospitality, normally ppl who'd own a bakery, sweet shop & a restaurant would sit on a high chair with their crowns!!!
    But then 👍👍👏👏 2 these guys...
    Some works say free publicity but then gvng freebies and letting them into your kitchen is a big deal 👍👏
