The whole "end game meta build vs basic leveling build" is a fantastic concept, and videos like this are both unique and priceless. I didn't find this type of presentation anywhere else, and it fills a niche that needed filled. I have even watched videos aimed strictly at over-world PvE builds, and they still use the elite specialization metas. You have to do many, many hours of playing before you can unlock the specializations, then many, many more hours to fully train and utilize them. Meanwhile, you're stuck in the core game build, so you may as well master it.
Hit level 80 last night using your build was great fun. Took 2 weeks as i am a casual player now just need to decide whether to go zerker or not. Thanks for all your hard work.

Oh yeah. This is the way to level Warrior! Just changed to this build on my lvl. 60 Warrior; so much more fun! Easier to play and more effective than what I was using before.👍

These videos are top notch and keep getting better. This made me give another go at the warrior as an. Alt and I'm only lvl 7 but I feel way more powerful than before using my double axes before I was using double swords and had no idea with skills or utility was using banners and shouts. Thanks so much bro these are making gw2 enjoyable for new players. I have noticed that everytime you say ferocity I hear frosty and the closed captions tho arnt good also pick up ferocity as frosty. By no means do I mean that as a negative I just think it's a funny occurrence and makes the videos more charming.
the banner that increases movement speed is great for boosting ally speed when do any on the mission that require a npc to move around ..liking when guarding/escorting

This gave me a much better understanding of how to use my warrior, which I just rolled yesterday. Looking forward to building her up over the levels now. Liked and subscribed.
I'm trying out Warrior on my second character slot (still gotta buy the expansion, third world country life), and I've took a liking to going mace/shield instead of greatsword. I initially did sword/shield but then I properly read about why power is better than condition to level, and also that mace 2 is a block + counter. I understand why the mobility on the greatsword is so good, but I feel like it's all wasted on me since I'm still learning and blocking just feels easier not to mess up. Main hand is still axe/axe though, nothing hits harder than axe/axe I think
For warrior it seems using the region armor is pretty useful. Once you finish a region you get it. So buying some in advance is a good deal. It's cheap and you can buy it in advance.
Thanks for the weapons section! Used it to figure out frame data on rifle and longbow attacks. If you didn't know, rifle on warrior used to fire every 23 frames. Now it fires at 43 frames. Not sure when that happened.

Some cosmetics are earned in game and some you can purchase from the gem store which you can get with real world cash 😃 there is no need to do this though and is just a cosmetic thing!

You will definitely lose some overall damage but it can be very useful to have a ranged weapon so try it out and perhaps swap your Greatsword out for it when fighting enemies that you want to keep your distance from 😃
GW2 planner suggests that celestial would be best in slot simply because you only loose 10 percent crit chance from 89% to 74%, 20% in crit damage from 214% to 192% amd 600 power from 2681 to 2059. Would that be worthwhile trades considering how much everything else you gain?
i checked like tons of vids and every ,,Leveling Build Guide 2021" vid starts with lvl 80 char ;'D what about leveling process / leveling gear what's best, fastest options for leveling like free accounts , standard etc im kinda new in GW2 i like game ofc but seems like 95% guides are made just for 80+ lvl to show people ,,what to do next" but what is before next? Hey man, I think you should be looking for a "leveling guide" not a "leveling build guide" as this is about how to build your specific class as you level rather than how to actually level 😊 I'm sure there are plenty of guides on how to level though! I haven't done one myself as I believe you should level doing whatever you enjoy most 😊
It honestly doesn't matter what gear you grab as you will change it in a level or two anyways. Just do hearts in each zone and when completed talk to the lady and spend karma to buy her goodies. It's almost always an upgrade to whatever you're using. The entirety of core Tyria is a tutorial. Feel free to move stuff around.
Casual player here. leveling for me is simple and not really the usual stay in the same spot and kill the same mob for hours. What I usually do is complete the entire region(POI's, vistas, hearts) and move on to the next. I'm a free account. Finished queensdale, kessex and gendarran fields and already level 40. Took me like a few days to do it but for hardcore players can probably do it less. For gear, just use the ones that you picked up. Try to save your money for buying crafting materials when you hit 80.

I could certainly look at that! I unlocked an elite spec the other day from start to finish and it only took about 2 hours 😃 you just need to go to Path of Fire areas and do all of the hero points there as most of them cab be soloed ☺️

The number 5 is a great gap closer since the axe does not really have one and the number 3 on the GS is also a sword dodge that damages also. Your GS closes the gap since you don’t have range and the axes does the heavy damage. You can also use the 5 on GS everytime on cool down to run faster on the map. @warfalcon

This build is really good even at 80 I'm using it to go through path of fire and it work great!

Personally running a mace offhand as second set, will be more beneficial, gives you access to on demand cc and alot more burst dmg.

You may need the dolyak signet just for that stability and stun break. You don't DPS if you can get annoyingly CC-ed.

For ranged. What would you recommend. A longbow or a gun? I have found the gun to be more decent against a single enemy till now.
For ranged, I prefer to use the longbow to be honest 😊 however, I much prefer going full melee with the Warrior whenever I can!

No worries 😊 I think both builds are really good but the Guardian build would be slightly higher DPS as it's probably the most OP class in the game!
