Thanks Barry and those interviewed for this amazing trip down Zephyr memory lane. Each car is amazing in its own way. Nice to see a bunch of them together at one show.
Glad you enjoyed it, Mark! It was my honor and pleasure to be there and not only see those cars, but made a bunch of their passionate owners! Have a great day!
@@BarryTsGarage Enjoy your weekend as well, Barry! We could tell by the level of the builds and restorations, that these owners really love their cars!
Thank You Barry -------- REALLY ENJOYED -------- seeing all these Zephyr's being shown off ------- All the History being told to us by JB and Ray ----- One remaining '37 Convertible of -----TWO ----- produced ----- that was nice ------ Been watching a build of a Zephyr and sent him a message to watch this video ------- Thank You again ------ Hope each and every one of you there have a Great Week ------- Rodney
The enthusiasm from JB & Ray is infectious. Yes this was my first Zephyr video and now you have converted an old English Jaguar guy into appreciating these cars. Thanks and well done.
Thank you for getting this show of Zephyrs together. I'm sure when I saw Harrah's auto collection in Sparks, NV. that I saw a Zephyr but to see 20 of them together was just amazing! This was my son's introduction to the Lincoln Zephyr.
Welcome! I think I have 60 or 70 videos about Zephyr’s on the channel so you can dig pretty deep! They’re really beautiful and JB and his crew have built a couple of them in the last few years
@@diggndemgutts247 Carson top, LS motor, drive train, IFS front end, Bellos custom 4 Link, EFI gas tank, exhaust by Mike, sprayed hot rod black, air bagged ... The list goes on and on, all done by custom car builder from San Diego Mike "Lokochon" Bello. Pop the hood and put a mirror on the ground to see the undercarriage and some enthusiast will spend 40 min on this car alone. This zephyr looks like a 1930s car but can stop and go on any California freeway. That's the beauty behind a Bellos build, it's a traditional look with upgrades to be driven on the streets. Like the gentleman in the video said, there's a wide spectrum of car guys and what they believe to be correct restoration practices. By the way the transformation of turning the car from a four door to a two door was not done by Mike. Thank you for the video and all the insight on the cars, owners and builders.
Very good! Again, I appreciate the extra info, I am certainly always learning and that is absolutely part of the fun. I very much enjoy people like you with actual information adding to the channel, so thank you.
I saw my first zephyr in 1957 when I was 15. A neighbor guy that was going to arens trade school and was taking auto mechanics had bought one. It was a convertible and he painted it metallic blue and had a white top with white rolled and pleated upholstery. It was hit by a drunk and needed a new left front fender. He bought a sedan for parts for a hundred dollars 😊
Funny how Yenry Herrera aka El Messenger who initiated this exhibition of zephyrs was not mention once and referred to him as “this guy” when talking about the 1939 zephyr Give credit where it’s due …
I'm so glad Yenry got this started! If you watch to the VER END,, Ray does mention Yenry and acknowledged the team effort needed to carry through the event. It was great! My part was to get some video on the cars and have JB and Ray point out various differences of each. Thanks for watching, and spreading the word on all these great cars!
The one was flat blk w/ blood red interior with white/cream Carson top was built by Mike Bello @ Bellos Kustoms look him up he's got like 3 of um in his garage the blk one there has a LS3 motor bagged
Thanks for watching! They are all accounted for in the video, the dialogue was to explain what they were and the differences. We have dozens of other videos on our channel featuring a specific Zephyr if you want to dig in for it thank you.
This was Zephyr heaven😍👍.
I agree - amazing. Thankful I could attend.

Wow, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This is the first Zephyr video I'm seeing 😁 I think I'm in love with the car now! I'd love to be that guy's neighbor!

Would give anything to have been able to go to that show incredible ray as always
Many thanks Barry for producing this video. I enjoyed it immensely!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it, Grant! Thanks for the note!
Carson top zephyr was done by bellows customs.... you can watch it being done in its own series on youtube. That guy is pretty good at what he does.
Thank you for adding that, good info

Thanks for the video. Original or Custom? 🤔
I'd be happy with any of those beautiful cars.
Love Zephyrs. Not many down under here in Oz.

Wow, that’s a crazy good story
Would have loved to see the custom built by Dave Iverson of Iverson Originals there.

How do you put an updated chassis in a unibody car?
Very creatively with components and not the whole frame. I have some videos on this channel showing some examples
I remember a 37 zephyr in las vegas back yard being a convertible, Sold for $150.00 in 1956. If only we knew today.
If only!

I've heard about him.... Yes he has that going on!
I love those Zephyrs but, to be honest, I despise the customs.
I understand, and I can respect that. They are not for everyone but there were plenty of originals there to enjoy!
There are 40 cars in this 40 minute video how about showing us all 40 cars instead of talking for 35 minutes?
