OMG!!!! FINALLY a tutorial for a mature hooded eye from a master. I've been begging for someone to do this and I'm so happy it was you. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do more for us mature hooded (extreme) eyes because there's nothing out there for us by a professional. thank you so much for the tips and tricks, so helpful. We are a group that has been left out of many tutorials and I'd love to see other ways to create eye looks for my extremely hooded eyes. If you could please zoom the camera closer so we can see better on what exactly you are doing next time, that would be helpful. Mahalo!

Me too! I have hooded eyes and I love hooded eyes too. I remember a Beauty Consultant at my Shoppers Drugmart called them “Peek-A-Boo” eyes. I love that. In the past we used to call them bedroom eyes ~ sultry eyes. I love that too! Lauren Bacall was the perfect model for those eyes! 😉🤗💕
@@FitChickGlows Blake Lively has those bedroom eyes type of hooded eyes. 😍 I used to hate my hooded eyes, but I have learned to except them and do makeup on them. Natasha is definitely one of the people, I look for tips from. Some artists put the shadow very high above the fold, creating a fake crease. I don't like that. Cause when I lift my brows, I look crazy 😅I try to focus closer to the lashline and the outer corner.

It's great to see some a model that's not 20, for a change!! I have two concerns though: is it me or the cheek looks almost greyish? and also, OMG, the neck is soo pale against her face and arms, I wish I could use my brush and blend her foundation down her neck a little bit!! Other than that... OUTSTANDING WORK. I love your eyeshadows, Natasha!
LadyHelenHF Agree. I have the same problem with my neck. I have to bronze it, or take the foundation down my neck. I could never, ever match Foundation to my neck. Many makeup artists like to do that. Then my face looks 4 times lighter than my body. Not a good look, & frustrating to get a good match. I definitely need a shade 2 or 3 shades darker to match my face and body.
Actually the lower cheek does look somewhat greyish. That’s because they probably used contour and/or bronzer. I find there’s too much use of that these days and it makes the lower cheeks look too muddy and greyish for daytime. Not a good look for everyday. I feel that people should just use that technique for evenings out or on stage or taking pictures. For everyday, daytime looks it’s just too much and just comes off as muddy or grey in the light of day.
I think they were trying to match her arms to her face foundation. I live in Hawaii and there are tons of people who never tan their face.
Its not the contour or bronzer pulling the gray cast, it's blending Highlighter into the contour or bronzer that creates that gray tone. To prevent that, the Bottom of the Highlighter blends into the Top of the Blush, and the Bottom of the Blush blends into the Top of the Contour or Bronzer.
If there us No Blush, Same thing.. The Highlighter Cannot touch the Contour or Bronzer just leave that space open between the two.
I have seen compact duos of Highlighter and Bronzer together (elf cosmetics for example) and I never understood why a company would do that, because it gives the impression to consumers to use them both on top of eachother.. Highlighter works beautifully next to or on top of blush though! :) Regardless, this tutorial was amazing!!
Here's a fun lil hack for you all; The deepest shade in this palette is perfect for doing eyebrows(for dark brown and black hair)
It has the perfect undertone and depth
Such a beautiful model! Just perfect for this look. ♡ Thank you for the tip of tapping shadow onto the lid skin that moves..instead of the windshield wiper motion. Such simple suggestion..but it totally solved that problem for me.

I have VERY deep set small eyes, the most flattering thing for me is to surround the eye with a mid toned shade, my bones create the light & shade! I’d love to see what a make up artist would do because I’ve rarely seen my eyes in Makeup tutorials!!

Women in their 50's are largely forgotton despite their spending power, yet we need the most guidance. Your eyeshadows are simply the best in the market place...

Thanks so much for doing this tutorial🤗 I'm 43 n I love eyeshadow but it's so hard to pull off any look besides just a neutral all over matte shade bc of my wrinkles n hooded eyelids. I want this pallete so bad bc I adore cool tones but it's going to have to wait for maybe a Xmas gift hopefully🙏🏻 lol. Model is absolutely gorgeous 😍❤️😷✌🏼️💄

The model has blown me away, she is so elegant and beautiful 😍, but who ever did her foundation really needed to blend it down the neck!
I learned quite a lot with this one, especially because the model used was not a 20/30 year old and she had real hooded eyes.
Both Natasha and the model have foundation match issues

i only have one ND palette (bronze). this glam will be my second. so pretty! i LOVE this style of packaging - so simple and sleek. i sometimes find myself just opening and closing my bronze palette because it feels so satisfying in the hands, lol.
and kudos for using a model over 50, with her beautiful grey hair, unapologetically fierce.

FINALLY! Found a video from a great brand. I have never found a good tutorial for age 50+ women with hooded eyes. Thank you for tip of using a tapping method instead of a blending method for loose skin eyelids. This is a game changer for me! Thank you!❤

I use this palette today for the first time and i love it. Reminds me so much of Naked 2 palette but way better. I have never been so excited in a palette for awhile now except for this. I know that there’s people who complain about the naming choices but this is actually very helpful for beginners who doesn’t know where to place the colors/shade. The suggestion is a cool idea but ofcourse you dont have to follow it. I just dont get the fuss about it. Great palette 👍🏻
I love this video, more videos like this one. I like the fact that she is not a professional model she looks so natural and normal like all of us. She is showing her real facial features without filters. Also Natasha is showing jemer how todo her makeup with patients and gives her a complement every time she follow her. Hooded eyes are gorgeous and don't need perfecting. They need emphasis. And embracing your age isn't embarrassing.
