I never picked up the ABH Sultry palette when it was available and I regretted not buying. I think the Glam palette will fill that void perfectly. Plus a large selection of shimmers is more important than mattes to me.

Such a beautiful palette! I have Milani Soft and Sultry and Alter Ego Temptress, so I feel like there’s enough overlap, but this palette tempted me much more than the Natasha Denona Bronze palette.
I love that the shades can be rearranged, and that she already shared how to do it for various skin tones.

  • @EricaConger
    @EricaConger 4 ปีที่แล้ว +35

The first palette that came into my mind when I saw this palette was Soft and Sultry by Milani as well. The Milani palette is one of my all time favorites! I think I'll just stick with that for now. But ya never know.😉 Excellent video as always!! Thanks so much!

I have ABH sultry, naked 2 and just found the Milani soft and sultry at TJ maxx for $5 (and picked up because of you) so I really don’t NEED this...but this is the first Natasha Denona palette really drawing me in. Still, $65 on something I don’t need and have the same colors over and over, I’d rather put somewhere else. High end palettes just aren’t something I’m purchasing anymore.

I’m probably the only person still using the tartelette in bloom as my one and only ride or die neutral palette, but I’ve known for at least a year it’s time to move on. No other palette in the last 3 years has caught my attention like ND. I’ve admired Milani and ABH sultry, but I knew I wouldn’t use everything, as even with the tartelette I BARELY touch 3 the deep shades except as liner. I got ND and had a swatch party against similar tarte shades. The shimmer taupe (rocker) in the tartelette looks so cool in the pan cause the shimmers are grey, but the base is sooo warm so when you blend out it’s neutral leaning warm. One of the shimmer taupes is a true cool taupe with ND. 😍 And the crease matte midtone shade in ND is a MUCH BETTER formula. The firecracker bronze shimmer in tarte was similar to one of the ND shimmers but ND knocks it out of the park! I have zero regrets buying this palette! My new ride or die as a pale girl. 😍

I love when you can switch the colors around. I do that all the time with the 9 pan colorpop pallets as they magnetize in the pan. All you have to do is give a tap on the back and all the shadows come out. I love being able to customize from several pallets. I wish all pallets would do this as depotting shadows that are glued down is too much trouble and you risk ruining the shadow. I like having the option to customize so much that I almost exclusively buy the colorpop 9 pan shadow pallets these days.
Loved this review! Seeing the Naked 2 pallet made me wish I had gotten that before it was discontinued! I never bought an Urban Decay pallet as too many colors are too dark and too warm for my very fair skin tone, but this one was gorgeous! Seeing it takes me back to the earlier days on youtube when this was talked about incessantly!

Naked 2 was my very first high end palette purchase because I loved the color story SO much! Even after all of the hype that the orginal Naked palette got I still didn't want to spend $50 on a palette until I saw Naked 2. I'm sad they got rid of it because I would get a new one!

1 the formula is easy to work with
2 the shades are name for you and where to place. You don’t have to but you can Follow her instructions
3 like you said this is perfect for anyone over 35+

Its the versatility where I can customized the color range to my own preference and the color story is also another reason. Now I know why 65 dollar may be a reasonable price because a mini 5 pan palette is 25 dollars and if I buy both its already 50 dollars. This would be a nice self care gift for me.

That palette is STUNNING 🙌🏼😃 It would bug me personally to spend that much on myself right now but I’m definitely putting that on my wish list! I already have the Milani cool palette so now I don’t feel like I’m missing out.
You know Jen, I never buy drug store palettes without learning your opinion. When it comes to the quality and usability I am super finicky. You have a talent for both describing the formulas and pointing out what I think are really important details about how they perform. I just don’t wanna struggle with my eyeshadow 🤷🏼‍♀️😁 So anyway yeah I thank you for that!

You just don't know how much I appreciate your review and the explanation on why she used the names of the eyeshadows! With the exception of your review and Michelle Wong's video, everything else has been kinda negative and all because of the "names" given. I bought this palette because of the color scheme and because I like ND's formula - It may be "boring" for others but I think it is stunning!!

I have so many palettes and (indie brand) singles at this point but I'm still treasuring my Naked 2, Naked Smokey and Naked Basics 2, haha. Never used them *much* but that also means they are still in a great condition - and now I'm really craving some more cool tones so it works out nicely.

I like the eye look you’re wearing throughout the video best. The shadows look amazing on you! I can’t wait to get mine. It should be delivered tomorrow. I can’t believe you found so many duped! I have the ABH palette but didn’t realize how VERY similar they are!

Thank you so much for addressing the texture of these eyeshadows in such detail. I don't like flakey or glittery or topper-type shades and sometimes swatches alone can be so misleading. Also your skin looks flawless!

I got an email from the ND website with the rearranged shadows for the different tones like the 2nd day the palette was out! I saved a screen shot of the suggestions just because it was so "cool" ! Thanks for your review 🥰🥰🥰

I think it is stupid that it is needed. Just give random names and a sheet with some inspirations/tips based on fair-medium-deep inside the box. That would save it from all the bad talk.

It's so funny to me how we all are... like most of us makeup junkies are like "wow naked 2, so old and outdated" and then we see this ND palette and we're like "wow, revolutionary, how beautiful!" And they're pretty much the same stinkin palette!

    Hi Jen!!
always happy and excited to watch a new video review from you!
Natasha Denona palettes are pure gorgeousness especially this one I too love love cool toned neutral palettes and this one even has some warm tones AWESOME!!! Yet, 65$ is still a big spend/splurge especially during these times😔...
and here's where i want to give you a big massive shout out on your great comparisons sometimes being a spot on dupe plus affordable👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
N.D. could and might be a dream palette for the holidays wishing she would let down prices🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 thus maybe enabling us folks😉 to have beautiful palettes as hers.
    wishing you the best Jen!!!
love your channel and of course -YOU❤️❤️❤️😘

Watching this video reminds me of the few compact-sized Bobbi Brown greige-ish palettes I have. They were not cheap-this looks like a better deal, frankly, but the shades overall are less cool. You are fair like me, so I’m glad I found this video. Also, I think both brands work well on aging eyelids. Thanks for your assessment.

The looks you created are SO gorgeous & sophisticated!!👍🏻 Love Natasha Denona’s eyeshadow palettes but I typically gravitate to neutral or warm tones due to my slightly warmer, olive coloring. So this cooler palette makes me a bit nervous but it looks beautiful on you.....makes me want to try it!😊

This is a beautiful neutral palette, but since I already have Milani Soft and Sultry, and a couple of indie shimmers and duochrome neutral singles, I'm going to pass. Lately I've been more into colorful looks as well so my neutral palettes are on hold.😄
Plus I really don't buy higher end palettes, I actually only have one, which was on sale in a bundle, and it's Scott Barnes Snatural. That was a really great deal because I got the eyeshadow and blush palettes plus the mascara for $100.00. Although I wasn't in the market for this one, I always enjoy watching your video's, and it gave me some ideas on looks when I do go back to my neutrals. Have a great day!😊🎨🕊🦌
