This is great. Tim and Nick look are genuinely having a lot of fun teaching Juan. And for sure, with his Pro SC2-level mouse mechanics, he's improving so quickly that it's a total blast to watch. But still: making content like this is definitely in the best interest for their health. Balancing their lives with not too many work hours, emphasizing quality (having fun, expressing themselves genuinely) over quantity (outputting more content to maximize viewer-minutes), and most importantly, doing things they enjoy. They can actually **live**. Be. Learn. And grow. And like, if they never want to review another scuffed, sinful, stale-af draft/match ever again, then I'm all for it. Like they've said, there really *is* nothing to talk about, and having to critique the same mistakes over and over would drive anyone to max malding stacks.
Does anyone know if this is the sc2 player he talked about years ago where he said something like "If he picked up the game I would probably be able to ask him genuine questions about the game after 6-12 months"?
Special is one of the SC2 players that since his talent on specially micro and also macro management is very polished, (to the point of you have to manage the army, while keeping the vision. keeping tabs of army comp and stuff) league is actually a nice game to assess and a year is decent enough for an assessment
I like how deep and complex the league can be. you can simply press the keyboard and be good at it or use intelligence and knowledge to destroy your opponent, the two together would be the apex. Realizing that team play makes the match have a totally different environment than soloq, and knowing that the two types of lol coexist is insane. Well, I've experienced a bit of everything, playing soloq with the best meta characters, playing casually, teaming up in small leagues, but now all I know, all my will and time is being turned to one thing in this game, Maokai Mid. I'm in this saga, to enable and reach the maokai master mid to 4 months, and I'm realizing how it is possible to optimize several points of the strategy, hidden mechanics in the character, improving every day. Finally, I would like to say that I would like you to approach the topic of Off Meta, and that the best part of off meta is really that it is off meta.

Yah any SC2 player that can compete at a GSL level is gonna have absurdly good mechanics immediately TBH. Its just the nature of how similar the games movements are. Special or ls or nemesis should get an editor to make a montage/moments series of his learning, leveling and starting ranked. This is really unique content but the first videos where he is completely lost are important to set up background and make the story complete.
