One of the main fundamental differences between LoL and Dota is that Dota is a game designed for things to hard counter other things so you need a wide variety of items and options in order to adjust to the game while on the other hand, LoL is designed as a soft counter game. This means that in League, it's all about mechanics and skill. A support can go for a support champ, build support items and outdamage a bad carry simply by using the kit properly and outplaying the enemy. Not to say that there's no variety in itemization or builds but generally speaking, there's an optimum build that you adjust based on the ingame factors (enemies, teammates and certain circumstances like who gets fed, win objectives and so on). In League, the item pool is kept intentionally limited with little overlapping between items, in order to make itemization more challenging. Otherwise, without such restrictions, you would simply buy boots +5 nearly identical items that all give you the best stats for your champ and there would be no need for any deviation, as in every single game, anything else would simply yield worse results. Do this for everybody and you end up with a hard counter game in which if champ A can't kill champ B, or if champ C can always 1-shot champ D, the outcome of most interactions will almost always be the same. In terms of champ versatility, there's plenty of that but it really depends on the role and meta. For example, on bot you oftentimes would not want to deviate from a ranged carry, except for maybe a mage. Other than that, other classes of champs are very situational and their viability heavily depending on your support and enemy team. On the other hand, Support is an extremely versatile role in which anything from glass cannon mages to engage tanks or even assassins (+ of course the typical enchanters and peelers) are seen all the time. In conclusion, Dota is far more varied and itemization, game knowledge and experience plays a central role in outsmarting the enemy. In League, you have fewer options; and variations in items are there just to give you an edge. You win by being better mechanically, having a better intuition and understanding better the game mechanics.
that hero hook nothing like pudge, it's gives you a "delayed" animation for enemy to get closer with you, hence the animation is stuttering. there's several heroes hooks closer to pudge's hook animation tho
His hook is weird. It has a slight delay after casting the ability, and it doesn't instantly bring the target to you, instead, it tugs the target twice while bringing it closer to you. Also, you can recast it so you fly towards your target instead.
I think dota 2 at a high level is the better game however there is no need to insult it, it is a good game still, just simpler. A dota player will definitely be able to play league pretty easily. I play league and went to dota, current playing both, and plenty of aspects transfered over

It's very unfriendly to new players. I advice you to play with at least one friend in a team to have fun even if you are getting destroyed(also don't play ranked if you don't feel comfortable in the game, toxicity there is immeasurable).
That's why Dota 2 is dying and how they save the game is to get rid of smurfs + add tutorial. But those tutorials are shit as well as it teaches basic understanding of Dota 2. U can check out Dota 2 guide for league players on youtube.
90% of 'new' players are returning players. And the matchmaking puts you in a random pool of people to judge whether you're actually new and where to put you on the hidden mmr scale so you get matched with people of the same skill. Takes about 10 or so games to get soft-calibrated like that.

Everyone who plays dps class is basically a glass canon even the tanks, no high ground and wards are free so vision is everywhere. There is so little to think about half the time. Also you can see everyone’s items at the scoreboard so you can’t hide anything. No couriers, and no good loss on death.
i think no turn times makes games more fun to play like HoN, league tower had plating nowadays, and yes it's weak like paper but it's hits you with tons of damage. honestly i prefer dota, but i still play this games because i treat it like "skillshot training playgrounds". comeback mechanic in this game sucks ass
league is actually very easy to learn because its core is legit easy but at atop of skill level everything changes, thats why in competitive scene league has much more consistency on whos team will win the skill ceiling in this game is legit unreachable in most people, dota on the other hand learning it is such a hassle because there's too many things to learn and its the opposite of league, top brackets are basically just the same because the gap difference in their skill are a bit close, only a few whos manage to be stray afar also teams in dota2 are inconsistent in whos gonna win because their skill level are almost the same

What do you mean by 2021. league of legends and dota 2 are the only famous moba as I know. This games are still active and continuously get updated. Competitive price pool is also still so high.
Having played the four mainstream mobas (Dota, smite, lol and hots), I can say without a doubt dota is my favourite - I initially started on lol and smite, whilst started dota and later hots (was really into hearthstone at one point). Out of the three, I find lol to be objectively the worst in almost every category. From gameplay, graphics, pace, design, mechanics and unique features - alongside the hefty costs - is just outrageously bad, especially compared with how amazing the adverts and content is! In fact, that’s the only category where I’d rank it way above the other 3 - and this isn’t even related to playing the game. Overall, Dota, followed by smite, is the best moba. Hots gets a lot of things wrong despite getting the actual content, design and graphics quite well. Tl;dr - LoL is a pile of garbage compared to other mobas, and only excels in areas outside of the game such as adverts and online content. But it’s great for beginners as it’s a much *easier* game to play having literally no complex nor unique features.
Playing to be decent player in league is easy. But to be extremely good is way difficult than u thought. Of coz dota 2 has more things to do like pull camps/denying/turn rates/items active.
To answer your question yes you can play carry champions as support.

Why whenever that dude hooks does it look like the hook has major lag and the hero keeps stuttering?
that hero hook nothing like pudge, it's gives you a "delayed" animation for enemy to get closer with you, hence the animation is stuttering. there's several heroes hooks closer to pudge's hook animation tho
@@spaceriot23 ohh right so it's more of like a rooting effect then?
That makes more sense then
it is like pudge's and clock's hook combined with lag 😂
His hook is weird. It has a slight delay after casting the ability, and it doesn't instantly bring the target to you, instead, it tugs the target twice while bringing it closer to you.
Also, you can recast it so you fly towards your target instead.
@@martinfreemon7134 ahh so like a hybrid of clockwork and pudge put into one. Thank you for explaining it.

The fact that you went into a real match without any game knowledge is so funny
this game is so shallow as it can get
I think dota 2 at a high level is the better game however there is no need to insult it, it is a good game still, just simpler. A dota player will definitely be able to play league pretty easily. I play league and went to dota, current playing both, and plenty of aspects transfered over

Sing x Gorg league days were the best. What happened between them?
They're having quarrel.
Gorgc plays ranked and Sing plays unranked and sing stopped playing dota for a time.
Sing is doing more variety games these days and dota is usually after/last part of his stream now with his friends.
Sing can't handle ranked and backseaters
A Scorpio and Gemini can't be forever friends. That's my theory anyway 😁
If dota had a ton of youtube ads
Tried DOTA 2 but this game is impossible to get into. Every game is about 45 minutes long, you can't surrender, during my first game everybody went AFK, the next bunch of games I always faced a guy with sth like 400 won games (I won about 3 xD) I like free champions and the design, also it is nice to have so many items but man this game feels so unplayable for a beginner and it seems so chaotic.

Towers in League do way more dmg, so tower divers get killed a lot more than in Dota. Dota is my game, but I have friends that play league, and I’ve played about 50 LoL games, so I can confirm this.
@RENGOD Kiilash lol, you don't understand my comment. @@Eastra3 I thought towers in league don’t focus enemy heroes as much as in Dota. So as long as the tower is hitting your creeeps they don’t switch to your hero when you dive. Is it not like that anymore?
