Omg! This is by far the easiest, most simple self explanatory DIY pillows and cushions tutorial that Ive been able to find on utube! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's pretty easy to do and honestly, they've lasted forever! I'm about to change the fabric, but only because I'm tired of this one!
Wow!! Amazing tutorial
Loved those green furniture💚
I love my front porch!

Happy to hear it! I hope you stick around!
I have a vintage bamboo sectional with big cushions. This is the easiest solution to recovering cushions I have found here. Thank you!!!!!!
Glad it was helpful! Honestly, this has held up super well and I'm so happy I chose to do it this way. Also it allows me to change it up when I'm bored pretty easily without having to use zippers!
Best DIY channel on youtube. Love the things you make.
You are very sweet and THANK YOU! You made my day.
Absolutely brilliant 👌🏿 never thought about gluing zippers on. I've been seeking to make cushions for a while. Thank you x
You’re welcome 😊 It's pretty easy actually!
Brillant! I have been trying to dye boat cushions and this by far is much easier looking than my dye issue !!!
Agree
And no one is talking about the pant job he did on the furniture! Good job! I will be doing this
I love my front porch so much!
Mark Montano we all do lol
Doing this on my couch in the livingroom, cheaper than buying a new couch, love it
You're right, it is!

BIG THANKS!!! I should have listened to my mom many moons ago on 'how to sew' but it was too much at the time, lol sigh... but I still love DIY, so here I am, 'no sew how to' is PERFECT... tfs!❤😉
Glad you like this one. They're still on my patio!
This technique makes recovering cushions a snap. Love the pillows too! I can't wait to make these for my garden nook.
Yes it does! I love the wood trick!
Finally a project I can do! Great video! Thanks!

Oh my goodness, I see and been putting off redoing my own patio cushions cause it will be a chore. I like quick easy projects. 😉 I ❤️ this so much!!!!!! I'm so doing this! I've had the material for over year Mark! 😣
Ooh, this way is so easy and you can EASILY change the fabrics when you're tired of them.
Hi 👋
Very pretty cushions. I wish I had some nice outdoor furniture to put some cushions and pillows on.
I got this set at a thrift store for $20!
Love the way you done this project
Thanks so much Darlene! It's always changing and looks a tiny bit different now.
This is genius. So glad I saw this! Am covering vintage glider cushions and I don’t sew or have sewing machine (that works). I am going to try this, thanks Mark!!
Glad you're inspired!
I knew about the glue but it never occurred to me to just glue a zipper in place. Genius!!!!
Happy you like my projects! Makes my day!

I love your DIY with zipper, this is the way to go, looks professional! Just ordered my E6000 from Amazon. Thanks
Such good stuff!
I love this technique. The board gives an extra firmness too. Great idea!
It really does and it was sooooo easy!
Ohhh the zipper idea is such a life saver
Honestly, the stapling makes it work like a charm for me. So fast and lasts forever!
Thank you so much.... no sewing who would’ve thought? 🤷🏼♀️👍🏼
Sometimes you just need to make it easier!
great video; We acquired an outdoor set; I then raided The Christmas Tree Shop and bought Tablecloths (for Outdoors) and will be using those to cover the existing cushions.
Sounds great!
Totally cool and easy and fun!
Refreshing! Makes me so happy when I walk in the door!
This is pretty darn slick! I also have back cushions that need to be recovered as well. We won't be using the plywood for those cushions because of the comfort factor. Thanks!
Right on!
@@MarkMontanoMakeYourMark how comfortable is it with the plywood?
I like it !

Wow...what a fab way of making it simple! The cushions and pillows are so pretty especially with the greenery. Thanks Mark...you do have that magic touch...
This was super fun to do Loretta!

The cushions took me a while to figure out, but I'm really happy with the process.

How did it go?
Yes, how did it go?
It's good stuff!
Love these! That fabric is fantastic
Thanks Catrina!
I have JUST found this video. Thinking of making cushions for my dining room chairs on this rainy day. I hate to sew, but these look so nice, I just may try my hand at them. I've recovered chairs before, but have never made cushions. Would it be easy to add ties to cushions? I need them for mine. Your pillows are my inspiration for my cushions. THANK YOU SO MUCH! JOANN Fabrics, here I come!
Pretty sure you can add ties to your cushions!
Try grommets and grommet pliers for the holes and just loop some string in may work for an easy trick if you don’t want to see but for long lasting you might just have to sew then
Definitely time to re-vamp my patio furniture. Love this and thanks!
Any time Chelie! Thanks for watching!
Fabulous job, love the material you chose. I love using E6000 glues. I use it with fabrics and of course, all my craft jobs. I'm going to try this on my faded out cushions. Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks so much!
I am putting up my sewing machine and on the way to get boards. Thank YOU
I did this again this summer with a different outdoor sofa and it works beautifully!
Yessss! just what I was looking for.....
The spray gun rocks my world!
I'm going to do a chair.l found in a nice area. Starting again with nothing. Perfect leather. Worn down. Brilliant idea. Need fabric. Love love love love ❤️
Use the Patent Leather paint from DecoArt if you want to paint the chair. It's amazing stuff!
I love your porch make over and now I know how to put a no-sew zipper in.
Separating zippers work best for this but you still could use a regular zipper. Just be careful with the gluing.
hi mark ... You make an effort you and beautiful girl with your creative $$$ well done always needs assessment of anyone .
Glad you liked it!
Great tutorial. You got me inspired! Thx🤙
Glad to hear it Dennis!

Great job on the makeover! Love the colors you picked and I especially love the elephant area rug!!
Got it at World Market and I love it, too. I returned 5 rugs before I settled on this one. My assistant Julie made me decide.

You're welcome Dolores!
I did this a few years back and it works great for awhile. The staples ended up rusting and the plywood started to mildew. Nice & inexpensive fix though to get a an extra couple of seasons out of our patio furniture.
Was it out in the rain? Mine is under a porch and it's totally fine still.
I also live in CA so the weather is pretty moderate.
Great project
I love my porch!
am soooooo happy
tons of thanks dear sir.
love and regards
My very best to you!
Okay, this is by far the best Do It Yourself outdoor cushion I have ever, ever seen. You got straight to the point, showed how easy and simple it is and now I am going to pimp up my outside furniture. The question, I cannot find E6000 in Europe, can the hemming tape also work? Thank you so much for sharing your creative idea.
Wow Lavie! What a wonderful comment and I'm so glad you liked the project. Give the hemming tape a try, sounds like it might work. I hope you'll consider following me on Instagram if you're there. instagram.com/themarkmontano/ is my page.
@@MarkMontanoMakeYourMark your Instagram colors are amazing. Thank you. I will let you know the results on using hemming tape.

Hey Herb! How in the heck are you?
@@MarkMontanoMakeYourMark great. Just retired from Ups, still in Fort Collins.
Love this! Do you have a video on how you painted the furniture?
Hi Emily, I used a paint sprayer and DecoArt Outdoor Living paint. Easy peasy! The paint sprayer really helped get in all the nooks and crannies of the wicker!
this is genius
I love my front porch now. It needed some attention for sure.
Good one
Still my favorite place to sit!
