Classic Game Room reviews SONIC JAM for Tiger Game.com from 1998, a collection of three Sonic the Hedgehog games (or so it says) on the ill fated Game.com that plays terribly. Sonic Jam has "select" levels from Sonic 2, Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles but sadly cannot handle the world's fastest video game hero! The Game.com's black and white, non-backlit screen stutters and jerks while the sounds beep and bloop one sound at a time. Worthy of the Sonic title? Hardly. - บันเทิง

I find it extremely funny and ironic that the worst Sonic game ever made happens to be the last Classic Sonic game era.
I'm from the future. Sonic Mania exists, and is EXCELLENT! And YET ANOTHER classic Sonic game called Sonic Superstars comes out the month I'm writing this as well, and ALSO looks really good!

My god; they've managed to outsuck sonic 06. with this ungodly bastardization of a good Saturn game.

+account I disagree. At least Boom had decency and good character animations, while SJGC makes Boom Sonic look like Sonic from Unleashed in comparison.
I got to be honest.
This makes me say Sonic Boom is better than Sonic Jam (Game.Com).
It's one of those "what were they thinking" games. A game about a character that's all about speed on a console that can't handle movement.
I love it that the music fade out just to hear the rings SFX.
I love how the music has to stop, to make way for the sound effects. So quaint!

I find the Sonic gloves quite disturbing, although not quite as disturbing as the volcanic power dump that I blasted out of my backwards thong whilst riding in an elevator with three poor strangers, two of which immediately succumbed to violent bouts of horrific vomiting, while the third one hasn't yet been found.

I don't hate it. I would actually love to have a tiger game.com and a copy of it. Games back then weren't as advanced as they are today. I respect all the bad games from some time ago

You have to be in your early thirties but watching you try and play this game with giant Sonic gloves was way to freaking cute.

The gamecom lived off the magazine ads. I remember thinking that the gamecom was an awesome powerhouse handheld with a monochrome screen. When they had games like sonic jam or duke nukem 3D how could it be any different? Well seeing Mark play those games I'm glad I didn't get suckered in. On the other giant sonic hand, seeing the faces Mark does in the reflection make the gamecom awesome again ;)

Wait this game was released in 1998. Back when Sega still had the Saturn, so why did Sega let tiger get their hands one of segas most precious mascots? I guess the Saturn was selling so bad that they needed the extra cash.
Plus this was Sonic’s first game on a third party console
