Drake’s pact seemed like playing kingmaker. I’m struggling to see a line where they could both pay for pact and win on their turn. Unless they were banking on Corey having a board wipe.

Great game, looks like they missed that mox opal and the treasure can't be activated while grand abolisher is out for touch the spirit realm. Lucky Orzhov still got there anyway! (Drake should've just floated the mana but didn't end up mattering :P)

But I don’t think grand abolisher stops abilities. Tapping for mana and cycling are both abilities. If I’m understanding correctly.

@@BadConAngel It stops activated abilities of artifacts but not cards in hand. You could cycle Touch if you tapped lands to do so, but tapping the artifacts for mana should not have been allowed.

"During your turn, your opponents can't cast spells or activate abilities of artifacts, creatures, or enchantments" since tapping and sacrificing the treasure is an ability it can't be done under abolisher (it's just a mana ability like arcane signet which can't be used e.c.t.) you definitely can channel under it but you'll need lands untapped to do so

Doesn't springleaf drum only allow you to tap 1 creature? How did he get a white and a black from it?

It does. Every time it is flickered through Abdel Adrian, it enters untapped, including his creatures. He would tap for white, then flicker, then tap for black, then flicker, etc.
