@@Jujubean9795 the pads are actually formulated with retinol as she's suggested (2:09). Also, I use Cyspera in the morning and the retinol/glycolic pads SOME nights, as suggested (3:36)... I've been using the pads for longer with no irritation but now that I've introduced Cyspera, there's irritation. My regimen is very mild with only 3 actives and I research cosmetic product ingredients to make sure they're noncomodogenic. I've noticed irritation mainly in the evenings when I wash my face at the end of the day (before using the pads and even when I've skipped the pads the night prior) rather than in the morning after I've slept... I chose to use Cyspera because the doctor explained it was not irritating to the skin... However my skin is reacting so it might be happening with others and worth a conversation/video.

I very much enjoy your videos and would like to thank you for helping me clear my acne. My husband and I are going to try to conceive soon. I am wondering if I must stop using some of my acne products to prevent birth defects or any other consequences. Would you kindly confirm the acne products that are not recommended to use while pregnant? My morning skin routine consists of using a cetaphil foam wash, a neutrogena salicylic acid face wash, benzaclin, a ceraVe moisturizing cream, niacinamide + zinc (The Ordinary), alpha albutin + HA (The Ordinary). I use the same face washes at night and then apply retin a and ceraVe moisturizing cream at night. I am anxious to hear your answer since I fear that you will say that pretty much all the products I use must be stopped!

Dr. Alexis, I hope you get to see my comments. I love watching your videos, very informative. This is now my routine I also live in FLORIDA to be exact Orlando. A few months ago I started getting facials monthly because I had sun damage on my forehead and a little hyperpigmentation on my upper checks and around my mouth which has cleared up significantly. This is my routine in the morning: 1. Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Soap, 2. Thayers Facial Toner (original) 3. Cetacean Vitamin C serum, 4. African Shea butter for moisturizer and help fade dark marks 4. Aveeno sheer daily moisturizer Sunscreen.
At Night1. Dr. Bronners Soap, 2. Facial Toner, 3. The perfect bleaching cream (from my esthetician) 4. Vitamin C Serum and I just introduce the Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Serum Max to my regimen. Can you please let me know if I need to take away or add anything else. Thank you for your response.

I use Elta md sunscreen on my face and Neutrogena on my neck/ chest & back of hands. Elta md, to me, is too expensive to use all over.

Thank you for your stellar work.
I would welcome a video on retinol eye creams. Every product says to avoid the delicate eye area, so my face is transformed, but the skin around my eyes remains dull and needs attention. Thank you.

Thank you so much Dr. Stephens!
I'm blessed to be able to afford Skinbetter products, looove them and they work.
Just for reference, I'm a medium-deep skinned woman in my late 40s, oily-combination skin with mild acne and some ridiculous hyperpigmentatiom/dull skin issues.
Started using Cyspera in May 2021-on my 2nd tube now. Still using it daily and my skin is improving.
My routine (very simple) includes products Dr. Alexis mentioned-and they work beautiful-esp. For my reactive skin.
    AM routine:
    1. Cyspera for 15-20 mins.
    2. IS clinical cleansing complex
    3. Skinbetter Science ALTO Defense Serum (for vitamin c)
    4. ISDIN Eryfotona Actinica Emulsion SPF 50 (does leavr a bit of a cast-which later dissapears)
    PM routine: includes double cleansing:
    1a. Elemis cleansing balm
    1b. IS Clinical cleansing complex
    2. Eye cream-Eyemax by Skinbettet
    3. A Retinoid-Skinbetter Science Alpharet Overnight Creme (For the next 2 weeks, I will be trying Skinbetter Clearing Serum-got samples-will update.)
    4. Treatment: Once a week one on Tuesdays and the mask on Fridays-Skinbetter Science peeling pads(so strong and I use with the TRIO Moisturizer)/a clay mask.
    Love Skinbetter Science products.🙏🏽

Hi Dr.Alex, can you please talk about copper .peptides? Some say you can't mix copper peptides with vitamin C or glycolic acids. Is it true? Or can you wait just a few minutes and apply one or the other?

My question: I'm currently on tretinoin 0.05 and finacea. My acne is way better than it was (I moved up to the 0.05 from the 0.04 in June) but it hasn't gone away completely. Would you suggest moving to 0.1 tretinoin?
