My daughter (16 as of a week ago) and I both watched this video and oilplanned shortly thereafter. We were so amazed by how much came off. We couldn't stop laughing and smiling at ourselves in the mirror. Waiting for the week to go by to see what our skin looks like.

Just came across this video today and want to thankyou for it! A couple years ago I had purchased the dermaflash luxe and it wasn't for me since I have dry skin and u can't use any type of oil or oil cleanser. It just pulled and tugged at my skin.I absolutely adored their pre flash prep cleanse but they don't sell it without the refill blades unfortunately as they r useless to me. I will definitely be buying the beginner friendly tool for the oil planing🥰🙏

I was told by a practitioner that you should use the blue light in conjunction with the red. that the blue will suppress the melanin brought up by the red.
Moisturizing after dermaplaning/scraping is my favorite thing ever 😅 putting on extra serum and moisturizer because you know your skin will absorb it better and it goes on so smoothly *sigh*. ☺️

Thank you! The Dr. Dennis Gross one is good if you are looking for a full face device. The two in the video are Foreo and reVive Light therapy however they don't come with the eye-protective wear as the full face devices do.
Idk why I stopped shaving my face, i grew up having it done every month as a cultural thing, mothers would always do this for their kids so we all had smooth baby skin even in teen years. Now my skin is unrecognizable! 🤦🏾♀️

After I dermaplan, I do another gentle face wash. Followed by cerave healing ointment. I’ve noticed it helps treat any cuts I may have gotten. I don’t do the serums yet bc I’m still getting my technique down. I tend to be heavy handed and add too much pressure 🥴

It can cause more transepidermal water loss, but if you already have a good skincare routine and moisturise well I don’t think it should be a problem? Then there’s of course ingrown hairs if you’re prone to them.

I also tried w/o oil, just around my temples. So much ouch I almost threw the tool out. Glad I didn't. Will now try with oil.

Your voice is so soothing! I recommend you fix your lighting so we can see the product names better. I have a question. I don't have the LED light so can I just wipe off the oil and apply moisturizer? I am worried that this will make me feel really greasy though. Also, I only have coconut oil. Can I use that for oil planning?
Your skin looks amazing Dr. I respect and trust your opinion MOST because you are a specialist. HOWEVER, I DONT THINK ITS ANY DIFFERENT THAN SHAVING THE SKIN? I also invest a bit in skin care and also in exfoliating products but I am very skeptical towards this. I DO threading to remove my facial hair but I dare not put knife. Not sure about this.
