I can only afford to take someones old junk, gut it, then refurbish everything. I drove clear to Alabama and picked up my eBay special. Because it cost to much to ship it. Gutted the interior (water damage) and replaced the roof. Now I'm designing and building the new interior. Can you tell me how you strap down your cars down up there in the attic? I see the E-track along the floor about tire width apart. Do you just anchor down the tire and wheel combos? What do you do to protect and dampen the extra time on the suspension? (i.e. Like Bladders etc.) Thanks for bringing us into your world. Looking forward to seeing you again next season. That Pro Mod run video was wild! Takes a long time to tell us all the stuff you do in seconds! LOL
Tim McAmis has a great video on strapping cars down. Also definitely use a bladder to take the strain off the shocks. They pay for themselves in reduced wear and tear on the suspension.
The only way I'd have a race car in my garage is if, it was a real race car. So, if the old car happened to appear in my driveway on cinder blocks, I would not be upset nor call the authorities. Just drop it off while I'm not home so I can claim it just appeared one day.
Denver is the gnarliest track in the USA . They should call it blow your shit up raceway Park 🤣 but you got to love the challenge. More blower,more compression, more lead and a tad less fuel🤣 I heard if you can tune a promod car you can get Rich these days... lol is that true cuz this nitro shit is getting rough😳
