So, sadly, we have not yet been able to build our Aluminum Rippers. We do have 3 other ripper builds that we have full videos on. Very cool wheels! My only concern with the scale hardware is in the past, rc4wd had a set of wheels (competition bead locks I believe was the name of them) with similar nuts but being so small, they would round out really easily when assembling. Basically, the nut stripping and becoming round and unable to tighten or loosen. I had a set and rounded quite a few assembling the first tires and had to leave them be and couldn't change the tires from then on. Any issues with these or have they held up well to tightening?
Hi I just recently bought the same MEUS Built-in Spring Shocks 58mm, loved the look but the problem I have is it is too stiff even with the extra softer spring it comes with... If I were to put one tire over my finger, the other tire is lifted off the ground, as if the shock will not compress at all. I filled mine with 30wt oil, and the car is stock including the wheels. Can you kindly advise if there is workaround? I would like my rig to be trail and crawl.
This review was done months ago, I thought you were going to make a running video.
Looking forward to that belated video if it’s still coming?

That’s like the mother load 👍
We still need to build one of the rippers. :-/ we will get there.
Nice wheels I have a set on the way for the New Hobby Plus Evo Pro Brushless
That’s gonna be awesome!!
Freakin awesome! I love Meus rims. Cheers
they are pretty quality, and the tires feel damn good!

Yeah, you need an actual quality driver that can stay tight when using.

you would definitely have to find some softer springs that would work. We havent used these shocks on a build yet because of that. :(
@@TheShopMiniRC Thanks for the reply. Sigh, perhaps you should mention on it so others don't make the same mistake.
I gotta get me a set of the wheels and tires. How sturdy is the printed chassis? I am leery of buying anything printed.
Just get the 35$ injection molded versions (v2). It’s waaay worth it.
@@TheShopMiniRC Found it. Thanks
Will these Meus wheels work on the cr18p evo? I bought some Injora 1" wheels and they won't work on that vehicle.
Yep. The 1.2s fit the portal axles just fine!
Bought a set, now I'm trying to patiently wait for them to arrive. Thanks.
I have the Evo Pro & these wheels & tires as well. 👍
These fit the FCX24? I hope they do.....
Yep!!
These are the same as the Injora all terrains and both are modeled after the Maxxis Trepadors.
Ahh makes sense. Thanks!!
Think I have the same ones. 3 out of 4 will stay in its bead tho
Hmm. That’s odd. We’ve had no issues with the beads.
@@TheShopMiniRC got it to work now, all good now.
Tires look like maxxis trepadors
That would make sense!
