      hi hi ❤️ I have unintentionally left your comment without a reply for more than two weeks now only because I keep re-reading it every time I open my YT app and every time it warms my heart 🥺 I have had a lot of hard days lately and your kindest words helped me a lot so thank you so much for that!! and thank you for watching my videos! I love that we both appreciate slow rhythm in knitting, it is my favourite part about this hobby 🧶 I hope you are having a wonderful day and I am sending you a big warm hug ❤️

    Thank you for your honestly, which is hard to find these days :) If I would be honest, I dont like the design itself, so its hard to comment on that. However, I love some of the other patterns from this designer. What matters if that you feel comfortable and happy with the end result, and if you dont, then unraveling and repurposing the yarn is a very smart desicion! wishing you a new inspiration for another project, I really love the color of your pure silk!

    I also really like this design and bought the pattern to make it in the future, either this one or the shirt version, which I really love as well. Thank you for making such a detailed video on the project, it is really helpful, even if the result wasn’t the best. And as you said, maybe it was worth it for the experience you gained from trying to knit it

    Honestly I absolutely love how your finished object looks but I totally get the fits issues you were having😢some things you just cannot anticipate before knitting the project! Even if it doesn’t work for you just know that you did an amazing job on it anyways!🥰

    it looks and fits so good! im sad you're unraveling it. i was deciding between shell tee and Chamomile T-Shirt by sandnes garn and decided to make the latter

    I love KFO but their product photos are always wrong lol. There are some colors I’d like to try but im just not confident in what they will actually look like. I definitely try to look at projects on Ravelry before ordering!

    • @kniteryna
      @kniteryna  หลายเดือนก่อน

      oh yes, I am still thinking that I would like to knit something in the colour I thought I would get but I simply cant order it! and funny enough, I always(!!) look first on ravelry when ordering yarn online and only this time I have for some reason skipped this step 🥲

    I was honestly kind of shocked to hear that you'll unravel it! It suits you really nicely and even though the color was not what you expected (that color difference is absolutely not okay!) I feel like it still looked really good on you! 🌟 but I get it, I also put comfort first when it comes to clothing 😄💗

    What a pity it didn't work out! That's why I like project vlogs, thanks for sharing your experience
    Also, that color difference? It's like a completely different color :o It's still pretty and it suits you very well, but I get it that you expected something different

    I think that the “success” of this pattern would depend a lot also on the expectations from this type of piece. If someone is a process knitter, I think this would be a great project to expand your skillset and try something fun. However, I am more of a product knitter myself. While with my autumn/winter pieces I like to experiment and a fun construction can usually land a good fit afterwards, I find that with my summer pieces I like to achieve the fit and feel of a store-bought garment. This way, I can ensure it will have functionality in my wardrobe. My most functional tee in pure silk is by far the cumulus tee (o-neck but also the v neck is nice), and that is a very classic fit pattern. If you like pure silk, I would definitely give it a go single stranded, it makes for a beautiful and very wearable fabric for summer! Loved your video ❤️

    • @kniteryna
      @kniteryna  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      thats a very interesting perspective! I think I equally appreciate process and product, at least with warmer knits. but I still have not figured out what my approach should be with summer knitting - don’t have many successful projects so far and struggle to navigate through my summer knitting inspiration.
      thanks for a pattern recommendation! I like the look of cumulus tee and will definitely consider it. and thank you for watching my video! ❤️

    Hello, at the end I was confused, with sleeves, i know that this pattern is in my Wishlist, but its a shirt, not a tee:) good to know now difference! and in my last episode i told my fail with camisole no 5. and i finished it already, and now planning to knit one more, can't believe i am saying it, but in other way, my feelings about this design stay the same.

    There are a lot of beautiful and unique patterns out there but I always ask myself if I would feel comfortable in this piece? I try to really think about it because knitting takes a lot of time 🫣

    • @kniteryna
      @kniteryna  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I feel the same way! honestly, every time I try to knit something unique and “not boring”, I end up not liking the piece. I wonder if I should just stick to basics while absolutely enjoying the process and finished object because as you say knitting does take a lot of time! and I can experiment more with fit and style when sewing or shopping for clothes, for example 🤔

    I wonder if it would look good on the pattern to add a small button band on the front yoke instead of a keyhole opening, that way you can button or unbutton for as much coverage as you prefer (kind of like a henley shirt?). Or adding more i-cord ties! I really love your finished project and think it is so beautiful, but I totally understand the feeling of not being comfortable in a piece of clothing. It is never worth it, no matter how cute, to feel self-conscious while wearing it!

    • @kniteryna
      @kniteryna  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I actually did think about having more ties and it would definitely help with the fit. but honestly not sure how to do it beautifully integrated in the design, buttons would be easier in this sense

    I think it looks very cute, but maybe not work appropriate. I love KFO yarn but their colors on their website are not accurate at all, it's always a wild adventure ordering online from them. Since you have 6 balls, maybe you can make the blouse no1 with the yarn? The fit is really nice and is double stranded!

    • @kniteryna
      @kniteryna  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      yees it does look cute, especially when I am posing :) I also love KFO, I have ordered from them a lot and have heard about colour difference from others but this is the first time I have encountered it myself.
      blouse no 1 is exactly what I plan to do and I am veryy excited! I just hope I will have enough yarn.

      that’s a great option, my mom and boyfriend suggested it too! I would probably go with it if it was not a summer garment. I am not used to wearing undergarments during the summer because it is very warm

    Made the blouse version of the tee. I struggled so much with the front yoke and how to connect it with decreases to the little top part of the shoulder, it’s so difficult to understand
