ALSO! haven’t explicitly mentioned that but don’t unravel the whole thing and then try to wind up a hank with it - it will become a tangled mess. I usually unravel a bit and then wind this bit up and then repeat.
I have a few knits I’ve been thinking of unravelling for years and your video conviced me to finally do it! ❤
I’ve been having a look at my knit wardrobe and some of the earlier pieces I’ve knit just don’t work for me anymore. Thank you for sharing these tips, so helpful!
Put the red yarn in the freezer ❤ it will help the mohair to be unraveled while is is very Cold ❄️ I do unravel some projects but I am so lazy to reknit smithing with it 🦥
Great showcase of unravelling Thanks for insights about mohair
Love this video ❤I’m watching this while unraveling 2 long cardigans that I bought a long time ago from &other stories. And since I never liked long cardigans on me, I decided they’re just so much potential yarn in them that I’m trying to harvest that yarn. So much work but it’s a free sweater at the end (girl math😅).
thank you for watching my video! girl math rules 😅 how you end up with pieces you will love!
this was so helpful ! I've been thinking of unraveling the first sweater I knit but have been really intimidated by the process. Thanks for breaking it down ☺️
thank you for watching! I am glad to hear that it was helpful ☺️
