One suggestion, before removing the spark plugs blow out those spark plug wells to remove any sand or dirt. If dirt is present it can fall into the cylinder when you remove the spark plug.

I changed my spark plugs on my 2014 Kia Forte EX by watching this video. My car was lurching when accelerating, especially around the 40 mph mark. I've been working on my car myself by just doing research online, and this is one of the videos that helped me immensely. Great walkthrough, great tips, and filmed/edited perfectly.

You can save yourself more time by not having to remove the wire connections from the sparkplug boot. All you need to do is unhook the battery cable. Taking those wires off the boot invites the opertunity to damage the clip connections that lock the spark plug wires to the spark plug boot.

Those boots also house the ignition coil for each plug so you should be extremely careful with them since they can cost upwards of $80 to replace each. Also its good practice to always unhook the battery before undoing any electrical connections. I have seen computers be blown from unhooking coils with the battery attached because there was just enough juice to jump pins in the moment it was being pulled away and that was a near thousand dollar mess up.

Always disconnect your negative cable off the battery before changing spark plugs, on the safe side always blow out the spark plug gap before taking the spark plugs out, that way no dirt or anything else could fall into the engine. But get video, great job on not over tightening the plugs.

The only thing I would check is if it is a pending code then after driving the car for a bit and turning it off then on again should clear that code.
