Noob. You should have vaulted out your window, ran around the entire perimiter of the town, thrown down campfires that you somehow got mats for, and killed the whole town

Repair the house. Start a underground medical facility. Discover a cure. Cure those firefighters then kill them then zombify them and keep them as prisoners, then you want to cure the entirety of kentucky and be the saviour which should take about 5 minutes 10 if you're new at the game
I had the same spawn once 🤔think it was my 4th or 5th start I survived the 3 firefighters somehow and killed them😅 got trapped by a horde a little while later when i triggered a house alarm and didn't have enough stamina to run🤷♂️ oh well
my friend got me into this game a week ago. my first ever spawn was in an alarmed house. i spent the next 10 minutes desperately trying to flee the horde and failing. i ended up dying in a police station that my friend had died in shortly before and his character was in the horde that ate me. it was infuriating, but the idea that i died in the same spot and was killed by my friends last character was so funny i immediately made a new character. that character also spawned in an alarmed house. this has happened to 1/5 of my characters. im cursed
A few days ago I started playing on co-op with an experienced friend (I am quite new to PZ but know the basics) I spawened in Maldraugh, in a house with an alarm. I inmediately bolted out of the house in search of a forest to lose the zombies that could've seen me.
I had an even worse spawn. I spawned in an empty barricaded house with everything you could ever want and no zombies, I spent 3 or so real life hours exploring and organizing getting so excited at my start only to walk out during a horde migration, died instantly.
I remember joining my friend on his server, with max population and super strong sprinters. I spawned in a house which had 6 sprinters in the same room as me, I got out dead but alive. By dead but Alive I meant I was still alive when I got out the room but I was bitten twice which meant I was 100% fucked.
I believe this can only happen in single player if you continue as a new character in an existing save, as your first safehouse is always safe and free of zombies. But if you do, it's equally possible you respawn in the same house.. with or without the previous occupant :P
Just starting out, I only managed to survive a few hours my first 3 playthroughs, when I started my fourth, I spawned in a house with a zombie to my right and left! Still not being used to controls and such, I was dead from the start and quiet shocked the game could start a player out like that.
view the game more as a rougelite. the more you die the more you learn so the less you'll die until the game gets too easy and you start playing with the modifiers for some insainity
play with 0.2 starting population, makes early surviving alot easier and fits the aspect of the apocalypse just starting. Personally I play with high zombie population and start with low pop amount so I don't get instantly swarmed at day 0.
@@aidanrock8719 Nah its good advice, this game has enough to learn the hard way, and your run is still gonna end at some point anyways because you dont change the peak. No need to be an insufferable prick, there is no right way to play a sandbox game.

Join a friend server once Spawn in a house full of zombie, die in the blink of an eye Friend does not understand how then he recognize the house, being one he had put a lof of zombies in (they were chasing him but he manages to lost them in) and a lot stayed inside.
I once spawned into a similar situation, I was inside a grocery store with a bunch of "raider" zombies so, I think you guess what my guy was doing, I didn't die to them but died later

go to some remote house while looking at the online map every 2 seconds so you dont get lost and move into town slowly from there once you have some place to sleep
@@justanotaku1420 i have lived in west point in the western part of it near the school but i just got lucky that i could get into a house and clear it on day one since that part of the town is kinda low population. i spawned in the trailer park in muldraugh once and there is literally nowhere where you can get weapons at that point or base up. basing up anywhere would require killing at least like 200 zombies and hordes constantly followed me so i just went to mccoy. i cleared it out a bit, survived the heli because i cleared the area before it got there and then i slowly started moving into town and got to the warehouse on like day 20 after 700 kills, but i couldnt settle down there because there were still zombies everywhere in the treeline and they could have swarmed the base. then i got busy with school and had to abandon playing on the run for a bit and then when i came back a few months later the run became incompatible due to updates lol. most of the time you cant live in towns straight off the bat unless you spawn in a low population part of one

True, it'd really help to know what hurt you, also would be even nicer if it told you what wounds are under bandages, and if they're already healed or not.
I once was spawning in and I decided to check my phone, once I spawned in there was already zombies ontop of me while I was in a house, I’m like fuck and went back to checking my phone until I died. I made a new character right away and I spawned in another zombie house, died again.
Had a character 2 months in. Tried to run past 1 zombie out a door but it refuses to open with E and got bit from behind. Died couple in game days later. Haven’t been back since
I panicked and had all my fingers on WASD, it's awkward hitting 'E' while doing that, so I to tried to open the door with the mouse, but you can see where that got me.
@@Grimm20s holding shift and then clicking acts as a different key bind for actions, if you want to open it typically walking up to it works best otherwise it wont open. Shift click is used for closing curtains or sheets on doors or windows without opening them.
@@Grimm20s Wait, you had all your fingers on WASD? how did you manage that? Not just ring finger on A, middle finger on W, index finger on D? That's an easy E press with the index.
is the issue not caused by pressing too many buttons? i know that when i'm holding two movement keys, the 1-5 keys don't work, so maybe the reason the door isn't opening is because you're pressing too much?

I was playing a challenge where it basically was "The Walking Dead". There are a lot of zombies everywhere, meaning if I wanted to go anywhere, I would have to fight. And that little scratch on my right arm means I can't swing as fast, and deal little to no damage. So, basically it wasn't worth the trouble of letting it heal. I can't sneak either because the builds I run are usually entirely combat based + the huge amount of zombies.

This one is the worst because even if you killed the zombies you would be trapped in the trailer unless you spawned with a hammer.

Gotta earn those first houses. The best thing to do on a fresh spawn is to smash the zeds around you so you can breathe loot etc.

Spawned at a Police station. My Rations were a bit short and lets just say unwanted hordes were waiting outside.
