As a kid,55-60 years ago I remember those type of trees on My Grand Mother’s property and I climbed a couple 50-70 feet in the air.I remember the trees swaying in the wind and being so excited to be able to sway with the tree ! Then when I got older and realized that I was sort of crazy at that age to just climb and hang on I was happy for doing it,but resolved to NEVER do it again !
Glad you had some help today. Good sized log. We had one that size taken down on a corner. The stump's still there and guarding a weeping cherry. Yall have a FINE weekend and Good Bless Yall!
This is one unhappy, ugly and uncooperative stop sign in the making, and is going to fight you tooth and nail to the bitter end. A real naughty knotty pine. Wonder what you are going to do with the end product .
Nice sawing. Nice to see the extra hand.

If im being honest-- i was confused about the title of this video until around @5:00
That said: hell yeah. Pinus phucking maximus. 🤙🤙
Nice lumber came from that monster.
Oh yeah!
@troytreeguy if the cut that dropped 10:41 is available, i would be happy to purchase that specific cut. Please reach out to me
why bother with those giant logs? is it the challenge? are they really worth the effort? whats the perfect size to saw?
My favorite is about 26” but they produce so much lumber, worth it when we have help for sure.
