I do love stronghold on titans, though i still use it on prismatic so i can get the most out of ergo sum. You do lose out on a little extra sword damage and some extra healing but the extra bonuses ergo gives to prismatic is very nice. But i wont deny how good it is on strand, basically its do you want to be more tanky(strand) or have ergo sum do more damage and help with transcendant(prismatic) Ergo sum with either perfect 5th on a caster frame, telesto on vortex, any wolfpack, or arc conducter on caster. Then i go with either thronecleaver with engaurd for a swap back and forth style, or crown splitter with whirlwind woth wolfpack rounds to get full stacks
I really wanted to make a prismatic version, and while I think there are some good options, Strand just felt better with banner. Honestly if Prismatic would have gotten banner over Drengr's Lash, I would have instantly made a Prismatic version.
@luckymec if they got banner over drangers lash then banner would have been the only one any titan ever used because banner is so strong lol. I see why they didnt give it to them... but still wish they got a lite something else. Honestly i am weighing the pros and cons on deciding if i swap to strand or stay prismatic. I still dont have the catalyst but if i did it would be useless of strand titan, but is that 20-50% power buff plus ammo on grenade hits enough to overshadow banner of wars massive sustain and all the time sword buff?

i've been using this build since forever mate. People don't actually get how broken fortress is. But I'm not gonna lie, I can't see a reason to change Lament for Ergo sum... it feels so weak, and Lament does so much damage, and you can actually melt those flying bosses you said you couldn't hit with a sword before Ergo sum, just use the special mode of lament and you're ready to cook. the only argument you could use against Lament is the ammo economy, wich is fine, but, in all these years rocking the lament + fortress combo, i never had a issue with that, and man, do i use this sword to kill almost everything. Anyways, great build thought.
Lament is currently 1 of the lowest damaging swords in the game with some ergo sum rolls doing more than it. With the recent nerfs its even worse then it was previously and really has lost any place in the "meta" its had.
@@Strange-xc4qn i don't know from where did you get this information, but since i saw your comment, i went to "Carl the cabal" with all my swords, to test then and see if this proceeds... and no, it doesn't. of all the so called meta sword, none was not even close to reach the damage of lament, you see, i tried, without any buff, the basic combo that i use with lament: light + light + heavy. with only two combos, carl is dead, ergo sum, the one with the risk runner perk, wich was the one with the best performance, needed 4 combos, all the other rolls was 5 to 6 combos. Guillotine, with vorpal weapon and bait and swich, needed 5 combos, for some reason.
