- THIS PLACE IS INSANE! Since WHEN was a theme park in a shopping centre a thing? When exploring Kuala Lumpur, the last thing we thought we'd come across was an indoor theme park. We genuinely couldn't believe it was here but we had the BEST time and spent so many hours going on ride, after ride. You have to visit this place whilst in Kuala Lumpur.

Our weather is just not condusive to have a theme park outside. It's too hot and sweaty and within minutes can turn into pouring rain. Genting theme park is outside because of the cooler temperature. Notice that people are complaning Legoland Malaysia (an outside theme park) as being too hot. Luckily, nowadays most of the attractions there are under the shades and plenty of trees planted. Only water-based theme parks are outside because of necessity. Even then, people tend to avoid them during mid-day.
Wow, that completely makes sense! The heat in Malaysia has been so hot and humid so we were glad to have aircon whilst in the theme park😂
It is not cheap too to enter legoland. Not many people can afford it.
Disagree. We have a few outdoor theme park like Legoland, Sunway Lagoon.
Don't forget Singapore has Universal Studio, and their weather is same as Malaysia.
Malaysia just have poor management, look at the Thema park in Perak.
@@toray424 its not about agreeing or disagreeing💀 People just dont like being sweaty. Universal studio is also hot as hell, I would love for it to be indoor. It lowkey ruined my experienced there, it was scorching hot. Its simply way more convenient to have an indoor theme park. There’s no other reason for it. Also, poor management is the company’s fault
@@toray424 if you read Ali's comment properly, he did mention that only water theme parks are outside because of necessity (and to add water is a refreshing balance esp if the day's hot). Of course there are exceptions and other variables in play
CORRECTION: Berjaya Time Square has the largest indoor theme park in Kuala Lumpur but Genting Highland has the largest indoor theme park in Malaysia and South East Asia. If you into theme park better you check it out. Genting Highland accessible by bus where you can take from KL Sentral about nearly 1 hour journey. It also has cable car, shopping outlet, the world's largest hotel, First World Hotel with capacity 7,351 rooms, and newly opened outdoor theme park, and not to forget the only legal casino in the country.

@@TravelstoFreedom genting has got 2 different parks ie the indoor and outdoor park. The indoor one you can just pay per ride. The newly opened outdoor one had few rides still not opened.
@@TravelstoFreedom Just don't play the Casino, lately even rich people who want to spend moneys there didn't like it anymore, better go somewhere that has more fun with lots of good foods 😂😂😂

Great job guys. Next challenge ... The indoor and outdoor rides at Genting Highlands. You can go there by bus from KL Sentral or TBS Bus Terminal.

@@yeewahwong9153 They left Malaysia already. Dont expect Jetlag Warriors or Ken Abroad type of passion from International visitors. They have plans and we are just a short part of their grand scheme of things.
This may sound counterintuitive but foreigners who visit Msia are not that thrilled about cold weather compared to the locals. In fact, they are visiting hotter countries to escape the winter back home- thought all of you should know before making comments.

This was so fun. Theme parks never get old. If you like doing unconventional activities, why not try Hauntu at Linc KL? It's like a haunted house+escape room setup, kinda a horror story come to life. I've never seen any other travel vloggers taking part. Could be fun if you like that sort of thing.

Go to Genting Highlands next for another indoor roller coaster. That roller coaster you don’t sit in it rather you lie flat your belly and hang on to the roller coaster. You can pay individually for indoor rides but outdoor park you have to pay per entry.

If u guys like this place, then check out Genting Highlands, just outside d city, a wonderful indoor n outdoor amusement themed park. Take a bus to d highland from KL sentral, then a cable car to d top, n u can start enjoy your day, it can be an overnight or just a day excursion from KL.

Another popular theme park in Selangor is Sunway Lagoon .. it was a hotspots before covid

i remember the first time i went here, i went on the DNA mixer and the large purple spin thing. I got so sick i think it developed my motion sickness. so now, i can't go on intense rides (or just any rides that spins) or I'd throw up 😭

It look like both of you having so much fun.The another massive theme park is Sunway Lagoon and Genting Highland resort world.You can go to Genting by Bus and stop at Premium Outlet before you proceed by cable car to the top.I think you will enjoy it more than you have in Berjaya Time Square.The weather is a bit cooler.
This was one of the most fun days out we have had for sure! Will definitely be checking out Genting Highlands one day!

The largest indoor theme park is at genting highlands.
Oh really? All of the signs here said it was the largest in Malaysia
@@TravelstoFreedom not sure about that sir. I know genting is larger inside. I think it is the largest indoor theme park in south east asia. Maybe berjaya's sign are not updated(old sign).
However, you can travel to genting via the bus at pudu bus station. Ride a cable car up. You will not regret it...like vlogger sun kissed bucket list. Then you can verify that genting has a larger area. I am confident it is. Berjaya times square is the largest indoor theme park in kl for sure. Genting is located in pahang state nearby.

If you are into water activities, go visit Sunway Lagoon Park....its an outdoor water theme park.

Make a visit to Putrajaya which is the administrative centre. Very eco friendly, lots of green, lakes and modern architecture. Another suggestion would be the Cameron Highlands, a reprieve from the current hot weather. Beautiful scenery and cooling. Would be worth your time. Enjoy your stay here in Malaysia..
