I visited when theme park was under construction. Great to see it turned out so amazing. I believe, il be in Malaysia agn soon. Drive to genting was awesome. Love Malaysia ❤
I took the coach from KL Sentral to Awana Skyway and took the cable car up to the top. It was very good experience.
Untuk yg pertama kali dtg mungkin rasa wow it’s amazing.. but untuk yg selalu ke sini dn pernah merasa pengalaman di old theme park (indoor n outdoor),..pasti teringat kemeriahan dan keseronokan theme park yg dulu….rindu dan skrg ia cuma jadi satu kenangan. 🫢😃😃

I love the old days 30 years ago when there was only a small park. It used to be so cold but not anymore too many buildings spoil the nature.
I remembered I was rolling a boat in a big pond at Genting Highlands about 40 years ago.
Nah the ride is more fun than nature. If want nature cameron highland is there

I went there for the testing period not very good, all the rides were not working but now it looks amazing

You are welcome! The Sid's Rock 'N' Slide is still better than the conventional viking rides as there is a rotating axis.

Hi Aidil Asry, are you referring to the games at Asteroid Arcade in Central Park of Genting Skyworlds? There are kiosks near the game stations for you to register a card and top up credit to play the games. GeM card are also accepted.
As for the rides in Genting Skyworlds, no further payments required as the Genting Skyworlds admission ticket covers all the rides. Do note a few rides are not in operations during the soft opening period as stated in the Genting Skyworlds website.
Should I expect crowds when visiting in February on weekdays?
It is not that crowded if the date of your visit does not falls on weekends or public holidays in Malaysia.

Hello! Is there any express ticket i can purchase?
Hello! There is no express ticket but there is a Virtual Queue (VQ) system to book the timing slots for your rides.

If you are going during non-peak period, mostly likely you can cover all rides in one day. However if you are going during school holidays, public holidays or weekends, it will be challenging to cover all the rides in one day.

i covered all the rides yesterday, it is best to have a big breakfast so you can experience all the rides while other people are taking a break during lunch. you would also need to download the app so you get to book multiple rides and skip the queuing line. then again, there weren't many people as i went yesterday.

Hi! I want to ask...is it so crowded n Long Queue when christmas season???
Do expect long queue during the Christmas seasons as it is also the school holidays
Anything I need to prepare before going here? Like raincoat or sport shoes?
Sports shoes will be good. When it rains, you can wear raincoat or you can seek shelter in the souvenir shops. It will also be good to pre book the Virtual Queue using the Genting Skyworlds apps.

There is the Virtual Queue (VQ) system that comes with the tickets that allows ticket holders to book a time slot for some of the rides. There is no express pass ticket.
What was your total expense for genting including cable car??
Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park Fly & Play Combo ticket which includes cable car and entrance to theme park during the soft opening period is RM 163.

Been there just 2 weeks ago. Half of the rides arent operasional. The ones that did still have technical problems. And the queue was very long and agonizing. Even a simple ride with no thrill will take up an hour to wait. Very dissapointed wont be coming back anytime soon

How come many people complained that most rides closed or not ready?
Rides scheduled for maintenance are stated in the Genting SkyWorlds website. You can also get status of the rides from the Genting SkyWorlds apps too. From what I know, most of the time the rides are working fine.

You can book through Klook if you want. You can also book directly at Genting Skyworld website. The entrance fees are stated at Genting Skyworld website.

@@razan8524 it is amazing but you must make sure you do not wear short pants, it is too cold and also be careful when driving because it can be real foggy at random times, bring your jacket incase you feel cold, also if you’re visiting skytropolis don’t let any little kids go on it if they are too short, you must check the height checker if they are tall enough because if they are too short they will fall down the ride when it goes upside down. Enjoy your visit/stay at Genting, good luck!😉
If suffer backbone is it possible to try the ride?
It may be possible for some rides, you may have to check with the staff when you are there.

Hi are we allowed to carry the go pro during rides?
I went to Genting Skyworld twice, a few months apart. On my second trip to Genting Skyworlds, there were announcements at a few rides no photo and video during the ride. However on my first ride, it was fine to take photos and videos.
@@SGYap thanks we were there last weekend and they don't allow to bring things, u must put it in a locker prior going inside. BTW we only rode 1 ride coz most of the rides were under technical difficulties 😔
@@travelanywhere5129 On my first trip to genting skyworlds, they were not strict in terms of taking photos or videos. It was during my second trip they started to inform no video or photo allow on some of the rides. However majority of the safer rides still allowed taking photos and videos.

Long queue is also another issue during the December school holidays and many people could not try as many rides as they wanted.

You only need to purchase the admission ticket. Once inside the Genting Skyworld, you do not need to pay for the rides.

The orange coaster should be exciting as it involves both indoor and outdoor.
unfortunately you might have to wait a few years or even more until that opens
And fox didn’t allow them to use the alien or predator themed ride.

Hi Reduan, yes, you can go out and re-enter but you need to inform the staff at the gate when you plan to go out and re-enter.

There are minimum height restrictions for the rides but I don't think there are weight restrictions.

I went to Genting SkyWorlds 2 times, both visits were a few months apart. During my first visit, they are quite ok and allowed me to film using my chest mounted GoPro. However on my second visit, they started to make announcement on a few rides that filming is not allowed.

The admission ticket which cost 128 Malaysian Ringgit (Child) and 151 Malaysian Ringgit (Adult) during the soft opening period covers all the rides.

Yes it is possible if you visit during off peak days like weekdays without school holidays or public holidays. Weekends and long weekends will be challenging to complete in one day.

The food price is generally on the higher side as expected as it is a theme park located at Genting Highlands.
There a few ride scary like Planet of the apes it's same like transformers ride and also SFX Coaster next generation coaster but there are still under construction

Going to be a nice alternative theme park to universe studio.. As long as they don't increase the price too much

You mean going to Genting Highlands in Nov? Take note Nov/Dec period will likely have higher rainfalls. Also take note Genting Skyworlds will likely be more crowded than usual when the school holidays begin.

@@ziqkyy for now there still under construction the SFX Coaster will be open in 2024 with unknown theme but Expedition Thin Ice now it's opened tu the public with (technical rehearsal) and planet of the apes also mad ramp peak will be open on later 2022 (coming soon)

They were not so strict on POV filming when the park initially opened but has since tightened the rules. Another way to film POV is to write in to get permission but it will be subject to approval on case by case basics.

Independence Day is one of the more popular rides at Genting Skyworlds. Yes agreed, it will be really dramatic if there are heat wave, strong wind and water spray.

Are there any fast tracks ticket? So that we can cover all the rides in one day during school holidays
There is this Virtual Queue (VQ) Genting Skyworlds where you can reserve the time slots for some of the rides. But do take note there are limited slots in the VQ, hence if you are at Genting Skyworlds during a peak period like school holidays, most likely the VQ slots are taken up quickly. You can see the VQ in the Genting Skyworlds app.
What happened to 20th Century Fox theme park?
The theme park was renamed to Genting SkyWorlds after a settlement between 20th Century Fox and The Walt Disney Company.

Boot Camp Training is very popular in Genting Skyworlds.
Just gone there last and a lot of rides are still not opened. And even opened, it will suddenly having maintenancr issues. Wasting of time and $$$.
From what I know, the rides required more maintenance compared to rides at theme parks located at sea level due to the cold and wet weather at Genting Highlands. I think it also depends on luck during this soft opening period. Sometimes the rides are down but on some days, the rides were mostly operational.

The worst thing it's will could drop your phone or camera in chance..
I was using GoPro chest mount, it was quite secured. However if someone uses handphone held in the hand, there is risk of dropping the handphone especially the faster rides.
