Stunning views of the Pacific coastline after take off. I remember that ocean view leaving LAX on a flight back to Toronto almost 8 years ago.

I loved that video of the 777-300 I hope one day o will go somewhere exsotic on. Those EG90 engines are anonymous and so powerful. They really are calming.

Very neat video, really enjoyed the view shortly after takeoff viewing the coast line and the L.A.basin area.I was able to see the 15 freeway running along side Lake Elsinore over the inland empire good job..Thanks for sharing .✈🎥🙂
You are exactly as I am. For me on traveling day, the travel starts at 3:30 am when I go for a run, a ritual, and then about 4 to 5 hours before flight, I make my way to the airport. So yes, I understand exactly your type. Thank you for such awesome video.

I don't know about all that, but engines are definitely quieter and more fuel efficient on the more modern aircrafts such as 777s, 787s, Airbuses, etc. than they were on older aircrafts such as DC10s, 727s, 747s, etc. And engines were even louder on even older aircrafts such as 707s and VC10s. Those were the days of the older strong smelling jet fuel that smelled up the airports as soon as you entered them

Very good. Well done! Nice long and interesting scenes. Never jerking the camera around. Beautiful quality video. You are truly a lover of airplanes and it shows. I sat back and relaxed as you shared your journey. Very meditative and peaceful. Loved the morning shots of LAX and the empty airport scenes. I felt like I was there. I don't like to fly but watching videos of beautiful planes. Weird. I guess when you're used to only 737 and a320, you dream of more roomy and cozy airplanes likes the 777!
Nice video. I had flown on AA B77W from JFK to LHR in 2014. The B77W was new back then. Great takeoff and landing. Good seat on engine view. I cant wait to fly on EVA from SEA to SIN via TPE on Royal Laurel next month.

LAX-MIA is a relatively short hop for a -300ER. The plane was more than likely being repositioned for either a transatlantic or South American long-haul flight. Great video, by the way!

While I believe this is a normal aircraft type for this particular AA flight, most of the airlines will add the larger variants only during the Thanksgiving and Christmas travel cycles.
AA1088 used to depart Los Angeles around 09:39a.m. arriving Miami International at 18:10p.m. then it would continue to Sao Paulo, Brazil at 22;35pm as AA995

So, this particular aircraft had flown in from Sydney to LAX and then on to Miami. I'd say American is getting their money's worth. BTW, Google how many pins [bolts] hold those mighty engines to the wing pylon. In some cases, three.

4:50 - 777s are roughly the same size as DC10s and L1011s were, aren't they? Minus the third engine in front of the tail, their body size is very similar, it seems.
5:31 - 787s are noticably smaller than the 777s

At 34:55 this looks like Englewood Florida, or near that area. Use to fly there alot during my PPL and CPL training as a pilot back in 2001. Have not been to Florida in awhile. Miss it alot.

This is a nice video! I am just surprised how empty the terminals are in a lot of spots where you filmed being this is LAX. Every time I have used LAX, the whole place is practically packed with people.

I will always favour the 777s to the 850 and the 787 planes. The shape of them is one of a kind.
24:15 - 24:37 - L.A. doesn't really look that big from this view. However, to help remind myself of how much bigger it is than it looks in that scene: I see how slowly the city is passing by down below, yet the aircraft is easily going faster than 300 mph at that point, and they're likely almost 20,000 ft high there.
24:50 - 25:10 - L.A. looked alot larger in that scene than in the other one. I guess some of it has to do with the particular angles you're viewing from
