I loved that video of the 777-300 I hope one day o will go somewhere exsotic on. Those EG90 engines are anonymous and so powerful. They really are calming.
Great job on showcasing the mighty 777-300ER, and LAX! Your trip reports are among my favorite on youtube, appreciate all the detail you put into the airport experience, along with the actual flight.
Very neat video, really enjoyed the view shortly after takeoff viewing the coast line and the L.A.basin area.I was able to see the 15 freeway running along side Lake Elsinore over the inland empire good job..Thanks for sharing .✈🎥🙂
Absolutely a great video. I joined the Navy to work on aircraft and I love every minute of it. BTW, it was an excellent morning in L.A.; where I'm from.
You are exactly as I am. For me on traveling day, the travel starts at 3:30 am when I go for a run, a ritual, and then about 4 to 5 hours before flight, I make my way to the airport. So yes, I understand exactly your type. Thank you for such awesome video.
I don't know about all that, but engines are definitely quieter and more fuel efficient on the more modern aircrafts such as 777s, 787s, Airbuses, etc. than they were on older aircrafts such as DC10s, 727s, 747s, etc. And engines were even louder on even older aircrafts such as 707s and VC10s. Those were the days of the older strong smelling jet fuel that smelled up the airports as soon as you entered them
I don't think you could've picked a more beautiful morning to make that departure from LAX! Great video with some great shots of the various aircraft types and variants. I've also flown on this 777-300 in first class, from LAX to ATL. Good job on this video!
4:50 - 777s are roughly the same size as DC10s and L1011s were, aren't they? Minus the third engine in front of the tail, their body size is very similar, it seems. 5:31 - 787s are noticably smaller than the 777s 19:00 - Korean air A380 landing
Very good. Well done! Nice long and interesting scenes. Never jerking the camera around. Beautiful quality video. You are truly a lover of airplanes and it shows. I sat back and relaxed as you shared your journey. Very meditative and peaceful. Loved the morning shots of LAX and the empty airport scenes. I felt like I was there. I got all those travel feelings... Thank you for 50 minutes well spent.

LAX-MIA is a relatively short hop for a -300ER. The plane was more than likely being repositioned for either a transatlantic or South American long-haul flight. Great video, by the way!
While I believe this is a normal aircraft type for this particular AA flight, most of the airlines will add the larger variants only during the Thanksgiving and Christmas travel cycles.
AA1088 used to depart Los Angeles around 09:39a.m. arriving Miami International at 18:10p.m. then it would continue to Sao Paulo, Brazil at 22;35pm as AA995
At 34:55 this looks like Englewood Florida, or near that area. Use to fly there alot during my PPL and CPL training as a pilot back in 2001. Have not been to Florida in awhile. Miss it alot.
I don't like to fly but watching videos of beautiful planes. Weird. I guess when you're used to only 737 and a320, you dream of more roomy and cozy airplanes likes the 777!
24:15 - 24:37 - L.A. doesn't really look that big from this view. However, to help remind myself of how much bigger it is than it looks in that scene: I see how slowly the city is passing by down below, yet the aircraft is easily going faster than 300 mph at that point, and they're likely almost 20,000 ft high there. 24:50 - 25:10 - L.A. looked alot larger in that scene than in the other one. I guess some of it has to do with the particular angles you're viewing from
So, this particular aircraft had flown in from Sydney to LAX and then on to Miami. I'd say American is getting their money's worth. BTW, Google how many pins [bolts] hold those mighty engines to the wing pylon. In some cases, three.

Nice video. I had flown on AA B77W from JFK to LHR in 2014. The B77W was new back then. Great takeoff and landing. Good seat on engine view. I cant wait to fly on EVA from SEA to SIN via TPE on Royal Laurel next month.
I'd like to add that I took this route since I posted that comment. I'm glad to have flown it as I only fly domestically and for me there's no other way to fly that plane!
This is a nice video! I am just surprised how empty the terminals are in a lot of spots where you filmed being this is LAX. Every time I have used LAX, the whole place is practically packed with people.
I love watching this type of videos haven't been in a plane since I was 11 years old I am currently on my way to 30 years old... In July 31 I be going to Disney world taking my son for his b day.. this type of videos gets me exited can't wait.. thanks for the video 😀😉 my wife and son first time on a plane 😂
Why is the plane at the Tom Bradley terminal? Aren't you going to MIA? Loved the vid. Awsome flight!!!! Nevermind the first question, read through comments. So they just kept the plane there instead of moving it.... Maybe so they wouldn't have to worry about space for another domestic. Save the room and keep it there at TB.
At the time of this recording, American was going through some construction changes and I believe they had the customs desk at terminal 4 closed and needed to go through Bradley terminal. They were combining their operations with US Airways.

Stunning views of the Pacific coastline after take off. I remember that ocean view leaving LAX on a flight back to Toronto almost 8 years ago.
I just took that very flight from Miami to LA two weeks ago today, I absolutely loved it.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW that engine sound is almost like its not running ,thats music to my ears
Clean window, good weather and 4K video, all these contributed to this excellent video, one of the best of this kind. Thank you.
I'm going to be taking this exact flight on American on a 777 next month! I'm super excited.
has it not been cancelled?
Simply beautiful video! Please keep them coming!
Great video,I truly love AA 777-300 airplanes real nice service and wonderful photography.
FANTASTIC video, the LAX sequences are awesome!

No Morning Marine Layer/Fog? Amazing!! 😲 A Wonderful Journey!! 😎
IT'S ALWAYS A GOOD THRILL TO SEE AND HEAR THOSE HUGE EFFICIENT ENGINES ON THE 777-300ER SPOOL UP! BEST SEAT ON THE AIRLINER AND GREAT FOOTAGE. THANKS!

Thank you for sharing this video. I enjoyed it.
Great video. How was the food and what was the cost of the ricket??
Great video!!!!
Amazing video! It's great to be on a wide-body on a domestic flight. Love your engine view, its sounds were awesome
I'm surprised that they have the LAX-MIA route on the 777. Why not on the A321? They use it for the LAX-JFK routes.
*I really love it, great video. thank you*
I will always favour the 777s to the 850 and the 787 planes. The shape of them is one of a kind.
I live see your flights going around the USA it is awesome seen look at and the aircraft video was great nice job.

LeftyStratPlayer no it’s very normal for American I always fly a 772 from jfk-Mia on american
I think it could also be due to cargo capacity

great flight
Love hearing those GE90's whine.
Excelente video,....Gracias.
Is this business class with the nice seats?
Excellent but at the KLAX there is a plane the you're not mention wich one it's it with the star on the tail
Why does AA use the ultra long haul 77W for this cross country flight? I would’ve expected them to use a plane only 1/5 the size!
I'd like to add that I took this route since I posted that comment. I'm glad to have flown it as I only fly domestically and for me there's no other way to fly that plane!

Question, do you guys have regular jobs, own a business or is flight reporting and spotting your profession?
Wow they didn’t do a welcome to Miami international airport etc announcement 😳
Why was the plane departing from the international terminal?
Lucky! i got to go on the A321 going from KLAX to MIA
Or either the 767
Is there such thing as a sound proof cabin?
Who would dislike the beauty of a 777 😍
Great video mate ;-)
Is it really as difficult as it seems to see out the windows with this kind of seat?
Love the GE90
May 2012, my trip from Miami to LA. The same story.

does anyone know how big is the A-321 compared to the B-757?
757 is slightly larger. A321's can carry up to 200 passengers, the 757-300 maxes out around 240.
Beautiful travel.
