Good try, but some wood was needed to be near the concrete to keep the structure from slipping away. And then some nail gun and 2x4 near by to nail to create stability.
and this was the construction company with winning lowball bid. i've been in construction for 30 years. There's alot wrong going on here. No ptdf for plate going on concrete? The anti slip or skid bracing....wtf? Laughing about dropping a wall on someone
If u see ur studs shaking like that when u raise it drop the wall back down and look for a different job because ur unqualified secondly there should’ve been supports connecting the studs to one another
I’m inexperienced but genuinely curious, how do you stop the studs from shaking? You only have two spots you can possibly nail them into unless you put in blocking in between the studs?
@@KimJongChill If the wall is above 12' you gotta block the midspan. Thats how you stop it. But ppl do that stuff last, blocking is considered punchout. The walls, floors and roof are priority.

@Gavinspop23 I totally agree. Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance. And these guys just got back from smoking a joint.
They should have quit when the wall fell, OMEN !!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Jeeez. Well if they ramset and braced the kicker low enough, and added like 6 studs then I can see that working lool 😂
I pray i never frame again as long as i live
THEY DID ALMOST EVERYTHING WRONG
D Beaulieu not almost they did everything
The wall wasn't supported under the window you should put blocking in the middle of the stud to get it from wiggling back and forth
That's the kind of day I had today.
He weaved the wrong way 😂
Accidents happen but where the studs in that wall?
Maybe it was too heavy so they didnt put all the studs in yet 🤷♂️

There is no way this would pass framing inspection even if they did get it up.
