Woohoo, Billy is back! Okaeri! This video is much appreciated! All kitsuke trouble shooting videos are very welcome. 😅 Looking forward to new videos! 😊
Hi Billy, thanks for the once again very helpful and awesome video! Could you perhaps do a video about how to make a lined kimono in the future? For example you've once mentioned you maybe wanted to line the orange Tsukesage(?) you had made for the wedding since it wrinkled so much. I've tried to sew an Awase for a few times now and always ran into some issues, so I would heavily appreciate it. And I'm already looking forward to your next video, keep up your amazing work!
Hi billy-san!! I am a fan of yours and i just wanted to make a request, can you make a video about hikizuri/susihiki kimono's and uchikake's? This is just a video request, so it's okay if you don't make a video about it. And thank you for this video, it was posted at the same time i was practicing my ohashiri, so thank you. -from a fan off yours
Right now I’m trying to slowly get back to post regularly again. So I will first do a few videos that are easy to film and edit. When I’m back in the groove I can try to make a more work intense video like that. I will put it on the list 😍
@@BillyMatsunaga OMG, thank you!!! And of course, i understand, we will all love to have you post regularly again, please take your time and don't over-work yourself, And again, thank you for considering my video request. -from a very excited fan of yours
Hi Billy! I think this is the most valuable video for learning how to fix ohashori problems. I will practice what you are showing with the kimono I have. My problem is that they are all much to small for me. I truly need to know where one can find kimono that will work for 120 cm hips? Yes, I'm a plus size lady only 155 cm tall, and finding kimono that goes all the way around me is almost impossible. What do plus size Japanese ladies do? I have several beautiful kimono but not one of them will close all the way, never mind overlap. I would trade them all to find one that will fit. Is there a way to make kimono larger or a place where I can look to find larger sizes? Please help with any suggestions you might have. I am very much a fan and enjoy all the videos I've seen so far.
You want to look into getting a custom made kimono. You can have a professional tailor making a kimono out of wider fabrics than kimono bolts. I recommend contacting Kimono Yukiko on Etsy. Also, Kimono Machi sometimes offer larger sizes.
