Great products, happy with my C-Tug cart that breaks down into 4 pieces and fits nicely into a rec kayak rear hatch. Going on 10 years, no issues and it really comes in handy.
I recently purchased the Yakattack and couldn't be happier. I purchased it for the dual stands to keep it level and also the ease to break it down and stow it not only in my kayak, but in my car. The Suspendz is a great product, but I know in a short time I would misplace some of those small pieces.
I also have to consider storage at home too. I would need to break down the cart to store it, so having to break it down quickly and easily will still win out for me.
Suspendz gets my vote for two reasons. First the beach wheels are clutch for me, and the other is how simple and solid it is. I found myself reaching for the suspend cart more often because of how good it worked. The other factor is the fact that I rarely bring a cart with me on the water. If that was a priority I would 100% have picked the Yakattack. Yak attack + beach wheels would be a perfect cart.
Stoked it was helpful. I'm about another year out and the Suspendz cart has really become my go too. It has held up great! I hardly ever break it down though.
I'm on my 4th cart, the Wilderness Systems and so far it's working great. If you are going over rough rocky ground you need a solid built cart.I broke a Malone,a Ctug and a DIY pvc one.The Ctug is OK but the wheels chip on rocky ground and then need replacement.I'm wondering how beach wheels do on steep rocky ground. Thanks for the review.
The Suspenz reminds me a lot of the Wilderness Cart. The beach wheels work fine on the rocks near me. I’ve yet to even get a cut in the outer tire and I have it off road a lot.
Saw at the end that you’ll be posting a review of the Dagger Axis soon. Always enjoy your honest reviews. You had a Liquid Logic Kiawah 12 in the video too. Are you going to be reviewing it too soon. Was thinking of getting one early next year. Been waiting for some unbiased reviews on it. Keep up the great work and thanks for doing what you do.
Dan, have some heavy wooded areas around my house with trails to access the water. 1/2-3/4 mile walk. I figured the suspenz cart would be able to haul 2 crescent’s at a time. Thoughts on side to side stability on wooded trails?
Completely agree on the beach wheels. But I bought the YakAttack assuming they’d have a beach wheel option soon. I love my suspenz stands, but couldn’t spend that $ for such basic cart design compared to YakAttack. I’ve always felt the Suspenz cart was too $ and used the ctug previously. I also bring my cart with a lot, handy to have in less accessible spots in Florida
Hey Dan I like The yak attack one because of the Wheels. I have a lot of Pavement where I live so I need some hard wheels. Dan question? I like the sandals you are wearing. What kind of sandals are those cuz I like to get a pair for me cuz I have to kayak barefooted 👣 or wearing my flip flops 🩴 & when I wear my flip flops 🩴 I have to put a rope around my foot & flip-flops 🩴 to keep them on my feet 🦶 in the water so I am looking for some sandals to wear. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing it.
HELP! I can’t locate the video you did and a friend did in Lewis County WA. The have rental cabins, River… I can’t remember the campground name.. bring your own bedding type, thank you
I watch your channel alot here lately because I want to get into kayaking. The problem is I have a disability, chiari malformation, so I don't have any balance. But I don't have a lot of money either being on disability. Is there a kayak under 300$ you would recommend that might be a little easier for me to not flip over?

same here, love my C-tug

Yea if you break your cart down a lot it’s bound to happen. Good point about the space in the car. Should have mentioned that.

I for sure thought you were gonna go with the YakAttack!!! Fair and honest review!!! Now I’m conflicted but glad I held out so long!!!

Thanks for posting this video! I am looking at carts right now, and this has really helped.

Quality review as always, thanks Dan!
Yet another fantastic review and recommendations 👊😎
I bought my Yakattack two months ago and it does come with two cam straps. They also have beach wheels as an option, too.
I got a beach wheel setup for mine. They work great!
love both carts, but I am sticking with my C-tug, thanks for another great video
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
I really like my Wilderness System cart. It's easy to use and breaks down nice. I have the beach wheels for it but only use them when going over sand.
Right on. The Wilderness is similar to the Suspendz cart correct?
@@HeadwatersKayak Very similar. It's a Confluent company product and I live in SC so I went for it. 😀
@@josemirles4595isn't that our mindset in s.c.? Go for it!!! You got this! Lol hey from the upstate!😂

I have a Sitka and a Suspenz Stowable Kayak carrier. I always break it down and put it in the rear hatch.
Those work great!

Yes I’ve been reviewing both.

If Yakattack does beach wheels it will be the nicest cart out there. But I bet it will be 💰.

They are Astral Webbers. Soul of a water shoe, and stay in place when mobbing around
@@HeadwatersKayak Thank you so much man I really appreciate that. I will look them up thanks you cuz I really need a pair.
I’m having trouble finding a video you posted about the tamarack pro vs something can’t remember the other one?
Need to look at the Railblaza C Tug.
I’ve used and sold them for a long time. I’m not a fan. Both these carts work significantly better.

Yak attack straps go to hub of wheels
