I didn’t have it, but I remember many people in school having iPhone 7 and 6s. Now there are not that many any more, most of them got phones like iPhone 11 or 12 now or want to get a new phone (because they always get the old phones from their parents). I remember one time being at a tech store and seeing iPhone 7 and a kid who had a mental breakdown wanting to get one but his parents didn’t want to buy it. 😅 iPhone 7 looks so beautiful! 💞
I still use my iPhone 7 for basically everything. Took a break from my iPhone 13 to use this. Got the phone a week ago with 14.7.1 and upgraded to 15.8.2 2 days after owning it. Got the phone for free as it wasn’t turning on. The person that gave this to me said the phone was sitting for a year and they were going to get rid of it if I didn’t want it. I accepted it of course, and I got it back up and running with a new battery! And I cleared all the data and reset the device to factory settings before I brought the device home.
My mom has been using the iP7 plus since its release day and for over 6 years the only thing that she replaced is the battery, her phone's display doesn't even have a single crack, stripe, or off-color... I'm just honestly very impressed with my mom's keeping skill
It was good enough back in the day. I still have it. Thinking about giving it away to my grandparents since they still refuse to get a smart phone. It felt really good to switch from a 7 to an 11 pro max. 😂
To all of those people saying “it’s time to upgrade, the iPhone 7 is too old”. You’re wrong, the iPhone 7 (as well as the 1st gen IPhone SE, 7th gen iPod touch & IPhone 6s) are still supported. Although they may be stuck on iOS 15, they’re still receiving security updates every 1/2 months (with the most recent one as of making of this comment being iOS 15.8 in late october of this year ).
@@ur_very_angry I agree, those people probably think that everyone has the 500$ or more to buy a new iphone (which most of us don’t). So overall if anyone has an old iphone 7 or 6s, they may go ahead and still keep using it because as far as i know they are still supported.
@@dimitryem0124 why do he do that?, I am also writing in an iPhone 7, and keep having old operative systems gives you problems, because that operative systems don’t have technical support, so that gives you problems, it I like putting old pieces in a new phone, it doesn’t have sence

The iPhone 7 was and is still my first phone. Got it 6 years ago when it first came out and it really has been with me every step of the way from 7th grade to my first semester of college. I’m actually getting the 14 Pro Max in a week but the 7 will always have a place in my heart as not only my first phone but my first friend. Cheers to the iPhone 7 📱
Mum used it till like last week, she got a new one mainly cause the battery dying too fast but she loved it sm for those that don’t need super high quality cameras and fancy features, it’s still a great phone
I upgraded from 7 to 14 pro max this year. The 7 was very light, thin, and had a small screen. Battery did drain fast, and the phone overheated easily. But the camera and sound system are good. It can’t support IOS 16 though.
Most phones used in school I go to now are X/Xs and 11-14. I kinda miss when phones had more variation in their designs. Maybe a few people including me using an iPhone with an older design. Btw I currently use an iPhone SE 2020. The battery life is not that good and I really want the 12 or 13 for Christmas. But still, the designs of these phones take me back to when the internet wasn’t so complex to me.
This comment was made with an iPhone 7! I still use it and it is still a good phone for 2022! The things that I think have changed the most is photo quality and microphone quality.
Only upgraded this year from an iPhone 7 Plus to a 14 pro max. Absolutely loved the phone but it was really letting me down battery wise and plus I was disappointed that it wasn’t going to support iOS 16. Safe to say though that I made a good choice with my upgrade. Love the 14 Pro Max in space black.
Still using the 7. Idk but to me it’s so simple, not too big, does well on updates, very light and thin and gets the job done on what I do and I’m only 26 years old. Lol my last phone was a iPhone 12 Pro and don’t get me wrong I loved it but my soul just connects well with the 7 for some reason
Lack of a headphone port was design choice that still hurts us today, and the haptic home button also seems redundant since it was replaced by the next year.
My dad was still using an iPhone 7 with a broken power button and AssistiveTouch, until last year he replaced with an iPhone 13. Gave it to my sister who loves it iPhone 7. I have an iPhone 13 mini.

3D Touch is still a feature that I hate apple for removing. It was 100x better than Haptic Touch and it made opening links so much better. Peeking at websites to ensure that’s the one you want to open as well as quickly navigating through the Home Screen to get into certain things faster was such a convenience. Then apple removed it and made the whole “press for more options” obsolete, especially when the speed of phones nowadays is fast. Apps created nowadays don’t even bother to add it because most users probably don’t even realize it exists.
