2023 Shenk's and Bomberger's Review

Welcome back Drinkers!
Today we got a bit of a special episode as we found a couple of unicorns in the wild! We have a double review episode for you. These are two new whiskey releases of 2023 from Michter's distillary.
Bomberger's bourbon and Shenk's Sour Mash American whiskey.
There isnt much info on these as Michter's doesn't like to play nice with what is in the bottles, but we are in for a roller coaster of flavor! (we hope)

Thanks for your review. Just found a Shenks today. Overpaid ($190) but I haven’t seen one near me for over a year while hunting. Cant wait to pop it open!

just a bit of info, there are multiple batches of each, not just the 2000 bottles per year, shenks is not a bourbon because its only 50% corn. the bitter note you are getting is most likely due to the malted rye they used this year
