It helped a lot, I got tired of continuously being rejected when I would click on a portion of my apps that forwarded me to Safari, and the trouble I had with Safari was that I couldn’t use it as a web browser no matter how many different combos of switches I selected, and this helped a lot because Google Chrome helps me with navigation

Um, sorry. While this procedure remains the best possible for mitigating Safari's undesired existence on an iPhone; it does not really remove the app from the device, because Safari is part of the core software of the iPhone. This procedure merely removes the icon and blocks Safari as much as the iOS will allow, which unfortunately is not 100%. If the user is more than a little tech savvy and willing to "jailbreak" the device, then it is indeed possible to fully remove it, although doing so will break some device functionalities at unexpected times during use-so not worth the risks for anyone who learns anything new from this video.
The iPhone remains the most secure major phone available, though; so we pick our fights and at least maximize security where we can.
Before following this procedure (essentially the same steps published in many places), certain other apps I used appeared to have hard-coded Safari when directing the user to a browser, despite my having a different browser set as the default browser for the device. Now, I have followed this procedure and I will definitely notice if such a redirect to Safari happens again, and I will try to remember to edit this comment to reflect that. In theory, then, "no news is good news" if there is no modified/edited date after 29 June 2023.
