    That was sneakily brutal. Already doing great routines 4 years ago, I will say that your newer videos are just that much better as far as pace and nuance in coaching.

    This is the absolute best instructional video I have seen. I am going to watch him, glad I found him. I am 62, so I can see how this will rejuvenate me. I am going to try his DVD.

    I was not expecting that level of difficulty this morning. But I am learning to embrace the unexpected and do it with enthusiasm. Namaste Dean.

    Not the first time I have done this video, but definitely the first time I tried something different at the beginning, even if it was by mistake. In the first child pose, you say ¨I want you to think about lifting your arms away from the ground in this position¨. I understood you meant for us to actually bring our palms off the ground, so I did pretty much for the time the child pose lasted. It was challenging but I pushed through. Anyway, I don't think that's what you meant. Later I had difficulty pushing through the transitions from downdog pose to lifting one leg and keeping my hips square. I always enjoy the aeroplane pose in this video, but it is challenging to keep my balance. Thanks for the w/o.

    Real attention to detail , utilising multiple body parts per pose, I had to concentrate on activating the various body parts simultaneously, which helped me zone in to the session, great stuff.

    Hi Dean. Great routine, i feel benefits! Question, do I need to relax the knees whilst doing down dog? Thanks

    • @ManFlowYoga
      @ManFlowYoga  ปีที่แล้ว

      You don't need to relax them but bending them can help with proper form.

    Highlight of the day: lunge to airplane. Beautiful. Are heels down in downward dog?

    • @ManFlowYoga
      @ManFlowYoga  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's not important as long as your ankles have proper technique. I don't recommend pressing your heels down. Focus on the calf stretch and engagement in your anterior tibilias.

  • @berto8711

    Dean, Can u recommend any stretches or exercises that can help with carpal tunnel?Also, any modifications that u can think of for yoga postures when dealing with this issue? Thanx in advance!

    • @ManFlowYoga
      @ManFlowYoga  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Robert - I wouldn't look to yoga as a solution for carpal tunnel. There isn't enough of the wrist work that you need for addressing that. You should be doing strength and mobility work for your wrists, and I'd recommend talking with a physical therapist for those specific exercises as I'm not too familiar with them.
