Don’t throw anything away that has mold on it that you want. You can wipe it all down with water, dish liquid and bleach. Also the dollar store has a spray that is just like Lysol. It even smells better than Lysol. It kills the mold and mildew great!😊🤷🏻♀️
I don't know why, but when you said you'd add the cat to the "misfit toys" , I became so inspired for a new Christmas display! I have a plastic deer with a leg missing (it's one I've kept since childhood) and other little broken ornaments , figures and things in my christmas collection... I think I will make an island of misfit toys on my shelf this Christmas! Like spread out the cotton and decorate their little area. Maybe more people would like to try it out as well, I'd love to see the other misfit toys out there.

OH MY GOSH! The cat thing is a spinner. When you push the lever in it should spin around and show little sparks through the blue and red. I played with these as a kid. So fun to see!
I noticed some original 1960s Barbie doll hangers, I saw a small yellow hanger, think there was another one, save those hangers! Barbie collectors would definitely want the original hangers. Hangers and a small booklet always came with the individual outfits.

That little metal toy you picked up that is round with cats on it makes noise and sparks. You push the handle in as fast as you can,, over and over and Sparks. It's better in the dark because you can see the sparks better

I just got through viewing the latest Taco Stacks storage locker adventure, with you as the partner in quest of "goodies"...I was wishing I bought that unit...all the neat frogs and that great toy wringer washing machine. That one was from my toy era...could have been made by the Ideal Toy Co, or Marx Toys...cute piece...I really like toy mini appliances from that era of the 30's-50's. That washer was from the late 1940's I have a small collection of mini Sad Irons...some with advertising cast into them...salesmen's pieces. I have a couple of frog squeak toys! A Native American Tom-Tom. Nice haul!

I have no idea 💡 why because usually cowboy and Indians were more my thing I was very much a Tom boy. I was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
I recently found a few old bedraggled stuffed cat in a dumpster at an estate sale. I cleaned him up and sewed his head back on and he looks like brand new!

Some of those small dolls with the feather looking hair, look like the dolls that came on Valentine chocolate boxes circa 1930’s - 1960’s. They were cherubs and often the clothing and wings were part of the box. I remember some of my Grandmother’s had dresses made out of a foam material and they disintegrated over the years. They had flapper style headbands with those feathers under the band. Loved the littles bag !!

I loved the candy cigarettes and remember them well. If you blew into the CIG, powered sugar would blow out for a second, and that was the smoke for us. And I totally covet your Halloween noise maker. I have been collecting vintage Halloween for over 40 years and have yet to find a noise maker. But I'm out west so we don't have the volume as you do back there. Maybe we could do some trading sometime?

I would put all the little plastic broken dolls and limbs into a bundle and put it on Etsy. They would make for great art or crafts or just stuff. Infact any little tidbits of broken toys into a bundle with the dolls would make it almost irresistible to lots of artistic folks.

The doll missing the leg is from the 1950s, made in Japan. I haven't ever seen the adult version. I have a couple of the child dolls we used to buy at the Ben Franklin dime store. The two babies you pulled out are knock-offs of 8" Ginny Doll. They may have a little value as parts on ebay. I think the first one is Ginger. The metal doll dishes also have value. Vinegar on a rag will clean up some of the less absorbent paper things. like playing cards and the plastic dolls.and doll shoes (People try up match up vinyl doll shoes on ebay). The wind up cat is from Japan. They sell glass eyes online measured across in millimeters.
I always loved digging through boxes and bags of little treasures, just like what you found!!! I always missed some tiny pieces that I needed until I started picking out the big pieces of molded things and trash and I was amazed at what I found then. HAPPY DIGGING!!!
