Modern technology is great that it saves video like this and allows countless people to enjoy it but there are times I’m more impressed with what man accomplished 100 or 150 years ago with the technology they had then than what they do now.👍
I agree. Working these beautiful machines was the highlight of my Railway career. Something I worked hard to achieve and something that gave me great pleasure. Unfortunately here in Queensland the Government no longer sees the need to operate these Locomotives and has mothballed its heritage fleet. So 8yrs of memories are all I have left.
Yes At the time of this film All QR Steam Locomotives used on the Mainline were crewed by Queensland Rail Steam Qualified Heritage Drivers. I was apart of this from 2012 to 2019
I really miss QR Heritage, and I wish these Steam locomotives can come back one day.
