C17 974 - Warwick to Ipswich Railway Workshops Transfer - 8/04/2024

On Monday 8th April 2024, QR Heritage Steam Locomotive C17 974 was transferred back to its home base at the Ipswich Railway Workshops, after having spent nearly 12 months at the Warwick based Southern Downs Steam Railway.
DH45 was included in the transfer and travelled to Toowoomba to take SDSR's water wagon back to Warwick.
We follow the run along the entire route where it arrived back at Ipswich Railway Workshops in the late afternoon.

It probably could do with one, but I think they are just replacing some worn-out bushes in the side rods.

Yes, rods have got a clank to them. Where is 971 these days
