i really enjoyed the scene of the animatronics building the fort, even though some fans thought it was “out of character” for giant murderous animatronics, but i actually really liked those scenes because it shows that the child spirits possessing said animatronics, still have those child like wants; wanting to play with other kids, build forts, have fun, etc.
those “wholesome” scenes with the animatronics are nice to see and it’s also a bit sad because it stands as a reminder that in the end, they were only kids.
Those people that says "they're out if character" don't understand the lore at all. The animatronics always nice towards kids even in Fnaf 2 it was said that the animatronics only vicious towards adults.
It’s also kind of unsettling given they’re children trying to play with a human and express human emotions in non-human bodies, all because of the monstrous actions of one man

The yellow rabbit you are confused about is Springbonnie, in the lore he was the original Bonnie back when the restaurant first opened but William was springlocked and trapped inside and was then burnt alive. He was still alive because of Golden Freddy and returned as Springtrap in FNAF 3
I would NOT recommend Matpat’s ultimate timeline. He throws in a bunch of weird details that he just completely made up and have nothing to do with what we know actual happens, particularly the first part and last.

@caldercockatoo2234 They're not things he just made up, they are a well thought out educated guess. The stuff in SB is certainly a bit of a stretch, but this part of the canon hasn't been fully realized yet and so he can be forgiven for trying to find a through line somewhere.
Remember when he thought we played as the killer in the first game then thought Phone Guy was the killer? We're just in that phase again.

Honestly the movie wasn't bad. The animatronics were very well designed and some of the actors portrayed the roles that the directors and Scott Cawthon envisioned very well but the movie did have flaws. They are already working on a sequel to improve on what the first movie is
Seb mentioned why they haven't made Freddy Fazbear's Pizza real but the creator of the games actually spoke on that and said that he never would cause he fears that somewhere out there a lunatic would attempt to recreate the events of the games and story and he doesn't want to risk that happening

He doesn’t look the scariest but it’s said the the kid in Bonny died fighting back which is why he is more hesitant to follow after Williams orders. Also in the movie before being electrocuted, you’ll notice Bonny stares right at mike when he’s trying to sneak and does nothing. So no I don’t think he’s the scariest but I do believe he has the most power over himself which makes him stronger

Markiplier was originally supposed to be the opening kill, but he is making his own film "Iron Lung" and due to scheduling conflicts he couldn't cameo. Also, you missed an end credit with Cory in the taxi with balloon boy. And yes, William Afton is the guy who killed all the kids and he gets trapped in the suit turning into "springtrap". I would also like to mention all the animatronic were actually built and they aren't CGI at all, fully functional and practical!
alot of ppl hated the fort scene but i think it's there to remind us that they're just kids and i love that they chose to add it 😁

The reason you may not off recognised the end battle with spring bonnie is because the FNAF Lore in games are showed through the minigames inside of them. In fnaf 1 we see the springlocks malfunction and in the end of the movie that is what happens, it is how William Afton becomes Springlock.

I'm glad you had fun with this movie! The lore always differs from each form of media in the franchise. There's the book universe, game universe, and now we have a movie universe, but at least key elements stay fundamentally the same ❤

They have paralleling characters and different scenarios 😄 e.g Twisted animatronics, Charlie robots, Edwin (Henry equivalent), GGY hacker, and sea bonnies don't appear in the Game Universe, or at least wouldn't make narrative sense for them coexist in the same universe
Don’t care, this movie was amazing and so worth it after almost 10 years. The animatronics are perfect and the fact that they are not CGI but real robot puppets is just unreal. The story is great and although it’s not how we thought the game timeline is suppose to be it’s still a game made into a 2 hours long movie and I think they nailed it (BlumHouse is really doing a great job with horror movies and Scott was there the whole time making sure the movie is just the way he wants it to be for us). And William Afton/Springtrap is perfect in every way (the look of his costume is a masterpiece). On one hand I really want sequel or maybe even a trilogy so we can see more of the animatronics, Mike and Springtrap but on the other hand I don’t know how they can make the story for more movies so it wouldn’t feel repetetive or boring.
Overall I think the waiting was so worth it and it’s an amazing movie and game adaptation. We even got a cameo from Golden Freddy and Ballon Boy (sort of) - 9/10

They're planning on having markiplier play a big part in the second film apparently, Scott (creator of FNAF) had it as his demand for the two potential sequels, and as they already had the most successful opening of any film from blumhouse studios, its basically confirmed.
The "Talking in Your Sleep" song by the Romantics of 1983 was a good addition. Also referencing Mike's dreams about his lost brother. Pretty clever.
29:09 to answer to your question,that there is spring bonnie who first appears in FNAF 3 but later becomes springtrap (also from fnaf 3) spring bonnie was one of the first animatronics made by Henry Emily and William Afton and was used by Afton as a suit to murder 6 children but eventually Afton would become fused to the suit and become springtrap and boy is he terrifying. Also to answer your question at 29:30 William wanted to kill people because he was grieving over the loss of his children Evan and Elizabeth to his own machines. Evan was killed by fredbear and Elizabeth was killed by circus baby.
Fun Fact: Scott Cawthon had nightmares in the process of creating Bonnie.
Another Fun Fact: The "new" animatronic isn't new, it's called Spring-Bonnie and his first appearance was in FNAF 3, no, not the main character Spring-Trap, but Spring-Bonnie, he appears in a FNAF 3 minigame.
ANOTHER FUN FACT WAaA: William Afton and Henry opened in 1967 the family-friendly Fredbear's Family Diner, featuring a brown furry suit of a bear as a mascot. Henry would usually wear the suit, as they didn't have enough money to hire someone to do the job for a long time and they were studying at the time. William studied engineering and Henry business administration and communication.
William met an unnamed woman, with whom he married and three years later had a boy called Michael. They met in court; William was being charged with murdering a child who allegedly was crying outside the Diner for being scared of Fredbear, the bear, and she was working selling hot dogs in front of the building. (Btw, he was released because they didn't have evidence pointing it).
It took them four years to actually achieve any success with the Diner, as they learned from little Michael that Fredbear was boring. William then designed a new mascot: a yellow furry suit of a rabbit called Bonnie. The chemistry between both characters worked like black magic and the success rained on them like rain on a rainy day.
The amount of money they got was so much that William used it to test his engineering skills, designing the first two Spring Lock suits: which were obviously Bonnie and Fredbear. The success increased.
The Diner's success was so big that a company decided to buy it and open a franchise around it. Hanry and William sold it, seeing a whole lot of profit coming from it, but there was a catch: the company used sneaky legal actions that allowed them to have the diner 100% under their possession, erasing Henry's and Michael's name from it. The company then opened Fazbear's Entertainment to take care of everything.
William was so pissed because of this he cut any relationship with anyone involved with the franchise. Henry, on the other hand, didn't know any other thing to do, so he asked for a job; he became the well-known "Phone Guy".
FFP opened in 1973 and featured four furry suits of animals: Freddy Fazbear, a recolor of Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy The Pirate. This made William even more pissed when he learned they made four animatronics without him. He started planning his revenge.
Btw, the Diner was still open - as a sister location for FFP.
Michael had bullied his younger brother because of the earlier events I didn't name so to sum it up: Birthday party, bad joke, head inside the bear's mouth and chomp chomp, child's head's crushed. He went to the hospital but died. His sister tried to help him, but in the end, he became a ghost purple bear, crying in the corners of wherever the suit that killed him was.
TL/DR: In 1967, William Afton and Henry opened Fredbear's Family Diner, wearing the bear mascot costume due to financial constraints. William studied engineering, and Henry studied business administration. William met an unnamed woman, married her, and had a son named Michael, though he faced murder charges that were ultimately dropped due to lack of evidence. I remember watching this on theater and there's so many fnaf fans. I love it, everyone is just cheering. I remember everyone just so shocked seeing matpat and vanessa being williams kid. Such an unforgettable experience I had a lot of fun watching this on theaters.

Baloon boy is a harmless one in the games but he serves as a destraction until the bigger guys come and get you. The blond boy represents golden Freddy and in the game he shows up and then is gone just as fast,that is why he said not Freddy when she asked if it was him. William is the main bad guy in most of the games and he is known as Snaptrap or in some of the games he is Golden Bonnie. I think this movie unites a few of the games together and maybe even the books of it as well sure. The saying 'I always come back' is what william says when defeated in the game and also the Come find me as well is something he says. Glad you liked this movie like I did and grate reaction as well.

+ The Adventures of Tintin is by far the best Motion capture animated film ever made and it was directed by Steven Spielberg
And even tho I have seen both of them countless times, they are still a really fun and nostalgic movies to watch all these years later.
