Okay for some people mirrored mode might be easier for different songs. I think it might be due to maps having like right handed or left handed dominant maps and you can try like seeing for some maps on which you perform better. For me poem doll is easier for me on mirrored, all depends tho on which you're comfy but yeah
personally i have my offset to 1.7 because i use bluetooth headphones, and it creates a delay, and when i changed the offset to 1.7 i started full comboing more, so it really depends on if you use bluetooth headphones or headphones at all!
3:33 wait.. SOME PEOPLE DON'T LOOK AT THE TOP???? @@Koushi39 well, I usually put the phone in the couch, my thigh/leg or a cushion, because in a table it slides like hell 💀, but like I said, when it doesn't slides, the phone doesn't feel my fingers clicking, so it may be the sensibility of the phone, but if I put the sensibility too high it will think I'm always clicking at something by the slightest touch so I keep playing with thumbs.

okay a note on looking at the top of the lane because that wont actually work for total beginners: it depends on your speed!! i've played on 11.2 speed for years and that makes looking at the top lane beneficial to me,but i have beginner friends who play on like a 6.0 and they've genuinely struggled with the timing when they look at the top of the lane. basically, the lower the speed the lower down the lane you look. this also applies to songs that change speed in the middle, to get the timing right on slower notes look towards the bottom of the lane or else youll click too fast another tip might not work for everyone but if you have bad eyesight i suggest turning up your screen brightness it definitely helps with seeing the notes better. im legally blind and i struggle with rhythm games where the notes dont contrast with the background very well lol sorry this is very wordy lol i hope it makes sense also i have never heard people call accuracy cards perfect lockers that sounds so strange to me 😭😭
Some tips I'd like to talk about: For speed, I'd suggest adjusting faster over time but you can start slow. Most rhythm game starters cannot understand notes in a short time and slow speed is alright. However, slow speed makes getting better accuracy harder, so if you're aiming for FC or AP, you can always go for faster speed. Just note that increasing way too much speed will make proseka a reaction game more than a rhythm game. By meaning trying harder songs IT DOES NOT MEAN skipping a whole lotta difficulties that you're comfortable with because you'll just not understand at all and maybe get worse stamina and loss of motivation. at most +2 or +3 difficulties of the difficulties you're familiar with. Multifingers are a must not just because 37s or append need more than two fingers, but they can make your life way easier. For reading notes, if you're sightreading just look at the top. If you're trying to AP or FC a song you can always look at the bottom. I would NOT SUGGEST using perfect locker cards. Although it can make FC/AP easier in the long term you'll get worse accuracy because of the 25 seconds of basically free perfects, making you not improve at all. Easy/Normal difficulty can be used as practicing tempo to AP songs so it is not directly useless. And yes if you want to improve in anything all you need is to practice and work harder. Here are my other tips on how to be better: 1) Play other rhythm games. Playing other rhythm games can make your skills better because you get to know more charts and how they work. A reminder is don't play "rhythm games" that aren't rhythm games like Geometry Dash and rhythm games with too high a perfection range, they won't improve your skill. Also, if a rhythm game is not based on accuracy and skill, don't play it. Here are some games I recommend: Arcaea: Good skill booster and has almost the same perfection range as proseka. Also, no combo score which makes the game more fun. The only downsides are the F2P content is low and grind is needed; arcs and crosshands can be annoying. Also, ratings can be frustrating but you can just turn it off. CHUNITHM: basically proseka but arcade. The game is more focused on multiple notes and has a wider difficulty range, which you can hop in the game anytime. And yes no combo score. The only downsides are arcade games may be age-restricted and you need a lot of tokens or money for it. Also, rating exists as well. 2) Set goals. This is quite obvious and you need to have goals to improve. Take an example, full combo-ing three 32s before moving on to 33s. This is to prevent way too high skill jumps and you can adapt the next difficulty quite easily. There are definitely more tips out there but because of the type limit I'll stop here.
@WakeUpMizukiyour not alone on that I feel like I’m on life support when playing some expert songs, but I have unlocked some master songs as well! (Mostly really easy songs)
I'm also practicing expert! I can barely escape with my life on level 26, but 25 and lower I do ok. My first level 27 was Theme of Niccori Servey team and Tomo Wonders, and uh, it didn't go so well 😅
i mean they dont actually have more than 2 notes to hit at any 1 point of time, just that you will need to be able to make your thumb clip through the other and be able to play trills with thumbs overlapping each other at 200+ bpm, hold cross screen sliders and also get a seizure from playing lv 34s
Mv isn't as flashy in diva except for some songs like jigsaw puzzle. Personally I feel like diva is easier when it comes to mv alone bcs of the good speed there
@@florian8634 Mvs aren't flashy but they're way too bright, i always play with mv on in projevt sekai so im used to it but i have the brightnesd at 50%. In project diva i can't lower the brightness so its more difficult to see all the notes
@iexist_nt diva can't lagspike you since it's made for specifically that device (except for the PC version since PCs varie). Pjsk continuesly needs a better phone/tablet so if your device is old then lags may happen
personally I do easy and normal modes to ap them so I can improve my accuracy, as I tend to get a lot of greats 😭 it helps me a lot tho, not sure if it’ll work for you guys
1. set up a comfortable speed 2. turn MV off to avoid distractions 3. fix timing setting (add some delay so u dont get punished for late notes) 4. try harder songs to practice 5. practice playing with more than 2 fingers 6. prepare for notes by looking at the top with your peripheral vision 7. cheese zigzag hold notes by just holding the lane regardless if they "zigzag" 8. use cards with accuracy skill 9. stop playing on easy/normal 10. play consistently
Fun fact: Most of the songs I FC’d were with mv’s and it didn’t disrupt my view at all until I wanted to fc non-breath oblige and just turned off the mv’s
another tip is to turn off the character skill pop ups, as it is useful to know when the skill is activated but it can also become easily distracting. also, if you do want to keep MVs on remember to increase the brightness of your lane and lower the brightness of the MV, it'll make it a little easier!
I remember in my very first weeks in Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! I used to play right at hard and expert because I thought that I would improve my skills faster and it actually helped me a lot even though I was completely failing at first but I've improved in just a few days/weeks pretty well!
I think I’m good at pjsk because I can play like 29+ but this video still help me! . idk use 2 fingers for long note and use characters for ap is really help so much!!😅
i need to learn to play with multiple fingers 😭 i play with my thumbs while holding my phone. my highest difficulty fc is sweety glitch master (my only 29) but ive pretty much been stuck at 27-28 forever
i joined pjsk like 4 weeks ago, and i quickly went to expert. my highest level i can do well is 26, still improving. its not easy, just keep practicing and dont make yourself miserable. its supposed to be fun, so go one step at a time!
Healthy Reminder 🎀: Rember, at the end of the day, it’s a game with gambling, characters (some silly and some relatable) and fire music, don’t put too much stress or overwork yourself if you feel like you’re not improving. Developing takes time, who knows if you play everyday you might adapt and increase your difficulty, like the video mentions xD I’m also gonna try to play with index, I’m always a thumb person but maybe I could multi-task haha
3:57 Please don’t use perfect lock cards if you’re trying to improve at the game, it’s mostly just for getting FCs and APs, you won’t really improve at the game if you reply of them too much
few notes to take into consideration is although playing harder charts will increase your skill faster don’t play anything unreadable (unless its for fun) if you can’t read the patterns you won’t learn much. progressing through charts that are just outside of your comfort zone will insure results opposed from playing something completely outside of your skill range. next thing i’d like to address is perfect lockers. although they’re good in a casual sense if you truly want to improve at the game i’d recommend avoiding them if possible. they’ll only activate during a specific section in each song so unless you struggle in said spot they won’t really help and if you’re using a 4 star variant you can just mash your screen. if said cards are skill level 4 across the whole team thats 35 seconds out of the average 2 minute song that you can just mash which is pretty good portion. if skill is what you wanna achieve plocks prob aren’t for you, if you don’t care to much then they’ll help with combo/acc and what not this is coming from a player that can fc up to mas 32s and ap up to mas 31s (depending on the chart) hope some of this advice is helpful
I have adhd and personally actually surprisingly find turning mvs on to be better for my own concentration, i dont really know why, its definitely a personal thing tho, i can see how they're probably distracting for most
Honestly using P-lockers only improves whatever score you get in terms of great-good-bad (not miss, it doesn’t work on those) but it doesnt really help you play better, if anything, worse cuz you just go through difficult parts by randomly tapping and p-lock will make everything perfect anyway
I’ve personally been trying to improve my skills and get out of my comfort zone (level 27 songs) and it’s actually been kinda fun :D (The master chart for Rin Chan Now! Is still hell though)
Tips from someone thats played other rhythm games before: Don't use bluetooth headphones/earbuds, the delay is just that bad most of the time (especially for me on my phone I notice the delay even when using the phone normally it's ridiculous, plus the delay is inconsistent so I can't just fix it) so either get wired ones (there are ones that connect via usb-c that you can get) or play on speaker Actually have your hitsounds on, and maybe make them louder than the music, that way you get clear auditory feedback for your hits, As another commenter pointed out, make sure you turn on Do Not Disturb Also have the game be the only app you have open if you get lag, that way your phone only has the one app to worry about and you're less likely to get lag Try playing songs outside of your comfort zone, but not too far out of said comfort zone, you're not going to make any progress improving your skill if you just die instantly (or even on JP where you can keep playing, you still won't make any progress if you miss every note)
is it weird that i always play with 2dmv/3dmv but i’ve gotten like 10 full combos? (not on just easy songs either) Edit: I also just remembered I almost got a full combo on bug, i just messed up at the end and i also cant full combo on lite either
i am never turning off mvs unless its the really bright ones like in bug! ive already full comboed almost every expert mode song besides like 6 with them!!
Yeah, I don't really plan to turn them off either. Maybe if I play co-op, or am really struggling to fc a song, but other than that, it's pretty easy to ignore, and I like the pretty colors in my peripheral vision. Kinda like how I don't turn off the character interactions. My brain easily tunes them out. Also, whenever I hear "Wandahoi," it fills me with DETERMINATION!
3:33 I don’t reccomend doing this, I don’t know a lot if it matters to people who play on very hard master charts, but as someone who’s fc’d every expert on the english server, ap’d up to 30 and have a few ap’s on expert and master, i reccomend looking at the high-middle or dead middle of the screen, notes appear extremely small and if you aren’t consistently looking at the note, you might miss the size or something. it’s hard to look at every note once at a time especially on harder charts
PEOPLE LOOK AT THE TOP?! Personally, i can’t do that because my eyes cannot concentrate when i look at the top and have a NEED to look in the middle, if i try looking at the top my eyes cannot handle it and start looking back and forth from middle to top which makes it harder for me to play like that probably bc i haven’t gotten really used to it bc since i started playing i have always looked in the middle 😭😭
Now, if those players or newbies want to improve your project sekai skills, I suggest you try to use more than 2 fingers. Recently, the charts of Sekai’s new songs are very complicated. I used to use my thumbs from the beginning of sekai release until the end of last year and started using 4 fingers. I think it would be more comfortable with 4 fingers because using my thumb feels very restrictive, so I started buying tablets to play with. Now I still have to practice 6 fingers. There are other optional ones. It is recommended to use or change the device that can achieve a high refresh rate display and better processor as the spam notes / high level songs require a better cpu and gpu speed to render them properly (Try to use flagship or midrange level, tablet type). If you can't afford it, or you think your current device is quite comfortable to use to play Sekai, you can continue to use it no problem, I'm not forcing you. Also, the sitting posture is very important, find a more comfortable position. Especially if you want to play on the table with a tablet or phone, use a non-slip mat
another tip i find helpful is to turn off the voice for skill activation and the showing of skill activation cuz it can be distracting, and turn down the note sound a bit
I know this video is 2 months old but I have point out somethings, while I myself can't relate to what I'm gonna say not everybody can start at hard difficulty and that's fine that's the reason normal and easy exist, also another thing to remember is while it's important to play harder songs, don't play songs you can't properly process/play because if you do you might develop bad habits such as tensing your hands or other similar stuff, plus if you don't take the time to properly learn the basics you will run into a skill wall. I did enjoy the video tho.
Easy and normal exist for people who don't play rythym games. Like me. I went from struggling on easy to clearing level all 24 songs with ease in about a month's time. I truly would not have been able to do that without the easy modes though.
I love awake now's hold note, even though i don't do i right it's funny how i use one thumb and slide under the other thumb to do the slides notes. I should switch thumbs instead in the same hold note lol
These were just about everything I did! I came in with this being my very first non-puzzle mobile game. I came in with a LOT of DDR experience and a handful of 3/DS rhythm games, so not completely new, but I hadn't played a rhythm game with my fingers before. Since Dec 2022, I went from struggling to combo a 5 (I know) to being able to FC some 26's. Not as impressive as a lot of people, I know, but it's a pretty marked improvement for me. I practiced since the beginning using a piano-finger style (3-4 fingers on one hand), and there have definitely been sections where I'm impressed that people do it with thumbs. It definitely makes some things a lot easier. The goals bit is really true. For me, goals are the most fun way to play. FC every song at a certain level, FC any songs where Master is unlocked, even stuff like "get an S in all Easy songs" at this point at least helps with focusing on the rhythm for the song. At least for me, that's the most important part. Good work on the video!
I LOVE PERFECT LOCKER CARDS, and im going to continue playing with my thumbs because its way more comfortable (i full comboed 17 songs on master using my thumbs)
For number two, not many people know this I think but you can actually lower the background brightness down to half. That may not sound like much but for me, it helped a lot while also not making me bored with the background MV.
Help i cant even higher my speed anymore its 11.5 already lol And as a 130 rank player i can confirm that these will actually help you to improve but i already tried these 100 times so if someone has any other ideas pls tell me
I started with easy mode because i didn't know much about rhythm games. Looking back it was actually harder than i thought lol. Now i play expert but some songs are difficult a bit
My way of improving in PJSK, namely when I first started was just unlocking most of the songs in the game, sorting by level, and clearing as many as I can. 1 month later, and now my highest lv clears are Expert What's up? Pop! and Master mode Butterfly on your shoulder (both lv 31). I can comfortably full combo songs around lv 24, and my highest lv FC was master mode lv 27 Daughter of Evil. It's gonna be painful having to switch to fingers one day since I've been playing thumbs for this entire time
Yeah one of the ways i definitely improved was just throwing myself into random master charts, im slowly being able to get most masters (up to like 28 and some 29s) down to like 2-5 misses
For the 2cd thing this is kinda weird but when I play machine poem doll without mv I do so horrible but everytime with the mv I do very good..?!?!? Like 😭
Same!! I find that having the mv in the bg takes my mind off the stress of hitting all the notes perfectly and also the lite screen bg gives me cringe 2015 gamer outro vibe😭
Most 2dmvs can make the notes looks invisible too, so make the bg too lite so it can't be blocked! (Og MVs like copycat aren't that bright so it might not make the notes invisible but, instead it's visible.)
My clicks don't register for a frame and I get a guaranteed of 2 misses or more included with that how do I fix it? I did everything possible but not factory reset since I don't trust the cloud save of google
might be a phone issue i don't really know much but i can totally say you don't wanna trust google saving your data (i lost my lvl 146 en acc since i dropped my old phone and it broke)
Ok, but how to train with more two fingers? At the first i already knew that pjsk better played with more than two fingers, but i don't know how to train it with my own fingers, i keep struggling with it, can you make video to train with that playstyle??
I just started and joined Pjsekai Last March and i think i'm doing good like you did in this video. My personal speed is 10 and The highest difficulty I can get for now is the level 28 expert or master. When I reached 29 I started having trouble Well... To be fair I have experience playing rhythm games before especially Arcaea And the level of difficulty that I can reach is around future 9+ or future 10 With note speed 3.8 to 4.0 Maybe what i want too ask is what's the different between red flicknotes and yellow flicknotes? Sometimes i'm having trouble with these thing I guess everyone has their own different experiences and opinions
Very good video but I would just nitpick about using the accuracy skill (the one that makes great and good perfect). For me it would be best to not use it so that you can practice your timing on notes and as well as making accurate taps properly without relying on skills... So that's about it really great video and I hope someone might find it helpful❤❤
Just treat it the same with the flicks that arent in the same grid/line with the tap notes. those big notes are kinda confusing since if you mistake it for 2 notes instead of one you'll get a bad or a good you should memorize it first. the better example for this is the first 30 to 40 seconds of yaminabe. dont rush the flick time it properly since it is synced with the music you should just follow the rhythm. if you can read it but cant properly hit it maybe try lowering your speed to get he timing right or maybe making it faster depends. you can also apply this to those same spot ladder notes. just treat them like normal spam notes like the start of Tondemo
Hey, thanks for the tips! Especially the 2-finger trick with hold notes, that is SO useful and not exactly intuitive! If you (or anyone else good at PJSK) wouldn't mind, could you tell me if I'm improving fast or relatively average? And more importantly, does this say anything about what my skill cap might be? I've been playing PJSK for 10 days and just today I FC'd THE END OF HATSUNE MIKU Hard 22 1050/66. My note speed is currently 6.5, and my current plan is to increase it every X amount of days (7 right now, might change it to 4) by 0.5 until I hit 9.0, then increase it by 0.2.
Your progress is good. you might be able to fc an expert song in a week or two or even less. for the skill cap part i don't really think there is one other than if you can't adapt to using more than 2 fingers. I've found some people you genuinely cant use more than 2 fingers even though they've been playing for ages and that makes them unable to do the charts that needs more than 2 fingers like most of the 34+ master songs. for the speed part the more fps you have the smoother any speed above 11 is so if ur device only has 60 maybe 11 is ur max if not you can definitely go up to 12 if your eyes can handle it
@@Koushi39 Well that's... good lol! Technically I've actually already FC'd Made to Order Expert 21, but I'm more proud of FCing THE END OF HATSUNE MIKU Hard 22. Oh alright, sweet ^w^ Mm, I briefly tried 4-finger gameplay and am not good at it at all. I will eventually have to learn it to clear those really difficult charts though. I should try FCing a Hard 16 or 17 with 4 fingers. I don't know what the FPS is or how to find out what it is ^w^' I use an iPhone 11, if that helps...
as all my devices never had great performance, i always set most settings to minimal, as fps is required for rhythm games. i kinda assumed everyone also has this issue. now I'm pondering here like "people have enough performance to play w mv without framerate drops?"

When i first started i couldn't even fc hard but after a month or two i went to fc all expert 25 !.. And now its been a year im still stuck at 25 altho i can fc some lvl 26 🤧🤧🤧 And then there's my 14 yr old cousin who had ap 30+ songs!!
Does anyone have tips on keeping stamina? I feel like my left hand has so much less stamina than my right hand (my dominant one) and it always screws me over 😅
if you look at the top you have higher reaction time=more perfect,so look at the top or top of the like middle-ish are, wherever you can still comfortably see the base line where you tap. Hope this helps
ill still double down on looking at the top since not only can you focus on the oncoming notes you can also see the judgement line clearly. but hey everything is all down to preference

Some tips I'd like to talk about:
For speed, I'd suggest adjusting faster over time but you can start slow.
Here are my other tips on how to be better:
1) Play other rhythm games.
Here are some games I recommend:
Arcaea: Good skill booster and has almost the same perfection range as proseka.
There are definitely more tips out there but because of the type limit I'll stop here.
i can totally agree on not playing geometry dash as a rhythm game since it really isnt 😭🙏
Is bandori good to improve in pjsk?
@@4evaW0N13 maybe? i recommend phigros more though
This helps a lot! I used to play an Hard but I'm slowly becoming an Expert user!
@WakeUpMizuki it's okay! practice means perfect ☆
@WakeUpMizukiyour not alone on that I feel like I’m on life support when playing some expert songs, but I have unlocked some master songs as well! (Mostly really easy songs)
I'm also practicing expert! I can barely escape with my life on level 26, but 25 and lower I do ok. My first level 27 was Theme of Niccori Servey team and Tomo Wonders, and uh, it didn't go so well 😅
@@HappyXID it's ok! my first level 28 was Brain Fluid Explosion Girl!
@@crystals25 I don't have any level 28 songs, so that probably why I haven't played that one yet. Is it good? Was the chart fun?
keep your fingers relaxed and loose -> tensing them will make it harder and give you major hand pain
You can fc some songs above lvl 34 on thumbs, it's just really hard
i mean they dont actually have more than 2 notes to hit at any 1 point of time, just that you will need to be able to make your thumb clip through the other and be able to play trills with thumbs overlapping each other at 200+ bpm, hold cross screen sliders and also get a seizure from playing lv 34s
not true, you can literally search up end mark mas fc on thumb@@doge2845
I wish turning off the music video was in project diva
Mv isn't as flashy in diva except for some songs like jigsaw puzzle. Personally I feel like diva is easier when it comes to mv alone bcs of the good speed there
My best FC on diva is 8.5 (odds ends) meanwhile on pjsekai is 31 (lower ones eyes) and for both it took quite a while to get better
@@florian8634 Mvs aren't flashy but they're way too bright, i always play with mv on in projevt sekai so im used to it but i have the brightnesd at 50%. In project diva i can't lower the brightness so its more difficult to see all the notes
at least project diva didn't lag spike you to death within 0.1 seconds of starting the show
@iexist_nt diva can't lagspike you since it's made for specifically that device (except for the PC version since PCs varie). Pjsk continuesly needs a better phone/tablet so if your device is old then lags may happen
personally I do easy and normal modes to ap them so I can improve my accuracy, as I tend to get a lot of greats 😭 it helps me a lot tho, not sure if it’ll work for you guys
1. set up a comfortable speed
2. turn MV off to avoid distractions
3. fix timing setting (add some delay so u dont get punished for late notes)
4. try harder songs to practice
5. practice playing with more than 2 fingers
6. prepare for notes by looking at the top with your peripheral vision
7. cheese zigzag hold notes
by just holding the lane regardless if they "zigzag"
8. use cards with accuracy skill
9. stop playing on easy/normal
10. play consistently
Fun fact: Most of the songs I FC’d were with mv’s and it didn’t disrupt my view at all until I wanted to fc non-breath oblige and just turned off the mv’s
another tip is to turn off the character skill pop ups, as it is useful to know when the skill is activated but it can also become easily distracting. also, if you do want to keep MVs on remember to increase the brightness of your lane and lower the brightness of the MV, it'll make it a little easier!
i forgot about that since in the jp server they dont pop up in the middle anymore.
(they pop up on the left side of the screen now)
I did not know you can do that, thanks! I think it's an Early note every time xd
All master songs can be all perfected with two fingers except for lv37 though
Lvl 50 @WakeUpMizuki
@WakeUpMizuki lvl 500
Level 1000 💀
@WakeUpMizuki I think I’ve seen you before
I remember in my very first weeks in Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! I used to play right at hard and expert because I thought that I would improve my skills faster and it actually helped me a lot even though I was completely failing at first but I've improved in just a few days/weeks pretty well!
i pressed on this video and got an ensekai ad for ifuudoudou 😭😭
i had no idea you were supposed to look at the top and its already helped me a bunch
I think I’m good at pjsk because I can play like 29+ but this video still help me! . idk use 2 fingers for long note and use characters for ap is really help so much!!😅
glad i was able to help :3
i need to learn to play with multiple fingers 😭 i play with my thumbs while holding my phone. my highest difficulty fc is sweety glitch master (my only 29) but ive pretty much been stuck at 27-28 forever
I always play with my thumbs cause it’s easier 😭
i joined pjsk like 4 weeks ago, and i quickly went to expert. my highest level i can do well is 26, still improving. its not easy, just keep practicing and dont make yourself miserable. its supposed to be fun, so go one step at a time!
Healthy Reminder 🎀:
Rember, at the end of the day, it’s a game with gambling, characters (some silly and some relatable) and fire music, don’t put too much stress or overwork yourself if you feel like you’re not improving. Developing takes time, who knows if you play everyday you might adapt and increase your difficulty, like the video mentions xD
I’m also gonna try to play with index, I’m always a thumb person but maybe I could multi-task haha
3:57 Please don’t use perfect lock cards if you’re trying to improve at the game, it’s mostly just for getting FCs and APs, you won’t really improve at the game if you reply of them too much
Thank you, it really helped
few notes to take into consideration is although playing harder charts will increase your skill faster don’t play anything unreadable (unless its for fun) if you can’t read the patterns you won’t learn much. progressing through charts that are just outside of your comfort zone will insure results opposed from playing something completely outside of your skill range.
next thing i’d like to address is perfect lockers. although they’re good in a casual sense if you truly want to improve at the game i’d recommend avoiding them if possible. they’ll only activate during a specific section in each song so unless you struggle in said spot they won’t really help and if you’re using a 4 star variant you can just mash your screen. if said cards are skill level 4 across the whole team thats 35 seconds out of the average 2 minute song that you can just mash which is pretty good portion. if skill is what you wanna achieve plocks prob aren’t for you, if you don’t care to much then they’ll help with combo/acc and what not
this is coming from a player that can fc up to mas 32s and ap up to mas 31s (depending on the chart)
hope some of this advice is helpful
FINALLY SOMEONE MENTIONED LOOKING AT THE TOP!
Exactly what i thought
I’ve personally been trying to improve my skills and get out of my comfort zone (level 27 songs) and it’s actually been kinda fun :D
(The master chart for Rin Chan Now! Is still hell though)
ironically i play better at -20 timing
Tips from someone thats played other rhythm games before:
Don't use bluetooth headphones/earbuds, the delay is just that bad most of the time (especially for me on my phone I notice the delay even when using the phone normally it's ridiculous, plus the delay is inconsistent so I can't just fix it) so either get wired ones (there are ones that connect via usb-c that you can get) or play on speaker
Actually have your hitsounds on, and maybe make them louder than the music, that way you get clear auditory feedback for your hits,
As another commenter pointed out, make sure you turn on Do Not Disturb
Also have the game be the only app you have open if you get lag, that way your phone only has the one app to worry about and you're less likely to get lag
Try playing songs outside of your comfort zone, but not too far out of said comfort zone, you're not going to make any progress improving your skill if you just die instantly (or even on JP where you can keep playing, you still won't make any progress if you miss every note)
is it weird that i always play with 2dmv/3dmv but i’ve gotten like 10 full combos? (not on just easy songs either)
Edit: I also just remembered I almost got a full combo on bug, i just messed up at the end and i also cant full combo on lite either
i am never turning off mvs unless its the really bright ones like in bug! ive already full comboed almost every expert mode song besides like 6 with them!!
This usually works for moving hold notes but i make my fingers follow the diamonds in the middle
THQNK YOU THAMK YOU THANK YOU VERY MUCH YHIS HELPED A LOT EKLWIE
I play on easy/normal to get the perfectionist title and play on hard for Crystals, is that okay?
Yeah ^^
yeah it's totally fine i do that too!
3:33 I don’t reccomend doing this, I don’t know a lot if it matters to people who play on very hard master charts, but as someone who’s fc’d every expert on the english server, ap’d up to 30 and have a few ap’s on expert and master, i reccomend looking at the high-middle or dead middle of the screen, notes appear extremely small and if you aren’t consistently looking at the note, you might miss the size or something. it’s hard to look at every note once at a time especially on harder charts
i think it depends slightly on the speed your useing, but not super sure
Changing the note speed helps so much, it was too slow and I kept messing up tysm
Instructions unclear, I am now an addict
PEOPLE LOOK AT THE TOP?! Personally, i can’t do that because my eyes cannot concentrate when i look at the top and have a NEED to look in the middle, if i try looking at the top my eyes cannot handle it and start looking back and forth from middle to top which makes it harder for me to play like that probably bc i haven’t gotten really used to it bc since i started playing i have always looked in the middle 😭😭
i always look at the top and use my peripheral vision to look at the judgement line.
it's been the same since i started playing rhythm games
Use non slip mat is quite important 😅
#3 and #7 are the most helpful to me! I didn't know how to use the #3 settings. Now I do ^ ^
I can't play append mode! When I'm using the other phone it won't register
another tip i find helpful is to turn off the voice for skill activation and the showing of skill activation cuz it can be distracting, and turn down the note sound a bit
I’m already great (hardest is end of hatsune Miku 35) so I dunno why I’m watching this but mvs actually help my muscle memory😭
My biggest proseka flex is full comboing bug with the 2dmv on at 100% brightness but other than that i suck at proseka help
Hearing 17 fc songs with thumbs is already making mine get cramps. As a fellow thumb player, you have my respect!
For number two, not many people know this I think but you can actually lower the background brightness down to half. That may not sound like much but for me, it helped a lot while also not making me bored with the background MV.
Great tips!
*now do the same for those who are using emulators in PC to play pjsk.*
2 is what i do since i love looking at the mvs i always turn it on to lite
Jit truly forgot me..
am i the only pearson who gets confortable with the mv? (help)
i use glasses since i have myopia and it kinda hurts my eyes when the mv is too flashy but 3dmvs are totally fine for me
Help i cant even higher my speed anymore its 11.5 already lol
And as a 130 rank player i can confirm that these will actually help you to improve but i already tried these 100 times so if someone has any other ideas pls tell me
same ive been using 11.3 and 11.4 for months now and 11.5 seems a little to fast for me
perhaps thats my bottleneck :3
The fact that the first time I played bug was with the MV and I FCd it
The MV is distracting sometimes but at the same time it’s just so 💥💥
i started yesterday and i was able to get acustomed to level 20+ skilled songs, now im pushing myself for 30s
For the 2cd thing this is kinda weird but when I play machine poem doll without mv I do so horrible but everytime with the mv I do very good..?!?!? Like 😭
Same!!
I find that having the mv in the bg takes my mind off the stress of hitting all the notes perfectly and also the lite screen bg gives me cringe 2015 gamer outro vibe😭
i finally fc two songs on expert without even knowing until i got thr results
The thing that i hate is I ALWAYS MISSING when i use 4 finger on zig-zag/tricky lane
2:45 my timing was over 10💀 thanks to you I changed it
2:45
I want to continue playing so badly but im so scared that I may have gotten carpal tunnel from it-
Tomendo wonderz, showtimeruler, Niccori and some/most 3d MVs can be more brighter later.
Most 2dmvs can make the notes looks invisible too, so make the bg too lite so it can't be blocked! (Og MVs like copycat aren't that bright so it might not make the notes invisible but, instead it's visible.)
Hi hi I'm curious on how you got the markers for where your fingers were tapping? 3:49
for me personally it's a developer setting inside my phone.
it's called "show taps"
if you're on ios i wouldn't know
My clicks don't register for a frame and I get a guaranteed of 2 misses or more included with that how do I fix it? I did everything possible but not factory reset since I don't trust the cloud save of google
might be a phone issue i don't really know much but i can totally say you don't wanna trust google saving your data (i lost my lvl 146 en acc since i dropped my old phone and it broke)

Ok, but how to train with more two fingers? At the first i already knew that pjsk better played with more than two fingers, but i don't know how to train it with my own fingers, i keep struggling with it, can you make video to train with that playstyle??
3:44 the sync is so smooth ei forgot you can look at the notes before you hit them
I just started and joined Pjsekai Last March and i think i'm doing good like you did in this video. My personal speed is 10 and The highest difficulty I can get for now is the level 28 expert or master. When I reached 29 I started having trouble
Well... To be fair I have experience playing rhythm games before especially Arcaea And the level of difficulty that I can reach is around future 9+ or future 10 With note speed 3.8 to 4.0
Maybe what i want too ask is what's the different between red flicknotes and yellow flicknotes? Sometimes i'm having trouble with these thing
I guess everyone has their own different experiences and opinions
Very good video but I would just nitpick about using the accuracy skill (the one that makes great and good perfect). For me it would be best to not use it so that you can practice your timing on notes and as well as making accurate taps properly without relying on skills... So that's about it really great video and I hope someone might find it helpful❤❤
Got any tips for countering flicks when an area is limited? In dokuzu last part for example

Are you play thumbs or fingers?
as all my devices never had great performance, i always set most settings to minimal, as fps is required for rhythm games.
i kinda assumed everyone also has this issue. now I'm pondering here like "people have enough performance to play w mv without framerate drops?"
my brain turns off when i use more than two fingers
