Just as a small addition, a lot of non-tiering players that can be in your room are also tired from ebi and might disband, so I’d advise to have a list of rather short songs to play instead of it from time to time. For example, Jackpot Sad Girl is only 10 secs longer
It is but the chart is not as easy on your fingers as Hitorinbo Envy which is why most tierers still go for that song over the other short songs. If you're in a tiering group, I think the short song list might be more doable.
@@wonderhoy-y Yes! I've learned this the hard way. Two years ago I wasn't taking as good care of my finger and joints and I had to go into work where I mostly typed with some pain that I was too embarrassed to explain to my boss. 😅
I tiered on the recent VBS event on EN!!! I had like 3000 bonus energy worth of items saved up, so heavy agree on the need for energy cans and auto plays but I managed top 200 so it was worth!!! (~t108 I think? ^^)
i'm about to go for t100 on mizuki's world event and have tiered in the past (t65 on we escape to survive) and i really need to reiterate to take care of yourself, especially your posture. if you don't have good posture you will be in such discomfort and even pain when playing for a few days. i learned this the hard way. always have water next to you to hydrate yourself too, it will keep you awake and focused as well.
even though i tiered on en (got t51 on light up the fire), i completely agree with everything here, especially about taking care of your wrists/fingers. whenever i charged my phone and tiered, i would play ebi/lnf with thumbs and honestly didnt take care of them as much as when i would play with index. this resulted in my right thumb having a little bit of pain for like 3 weeks just from moving it, nothing too bad but still. taking care of your wrists is very important!!! anyways a great guide that people should follow :))
Oh no! That's horrible. During my first few Vivid BAD SQUAD events I tired on I also didn't take good care of my wrists and it also took about 2 weeks for me to fully get my wrists back to normal.
hi! this really does help! when i had school for atleast half the day, i tend to tier (really closely to the way you recommended) and i made it to tier 1576 on jp (meiko world link)
thank you! this came just in time since I'm planning to tier on let's study hard on en server ! my past experience on vivid old tale was super chaotic and I ended up kicked of t500 on the last hours, even though I was sure I could get it :')
You're welcome! Hopefully you'll do better next time! The last few hours are chaotic, plus everyone is so tired and just wants to finish with the event.
@@MissedComboswithLauraNeuzeth I hope so ! but being realistic I doubt an Mizurui event will be less chaotic... I was so focused on Mizuan that I forgot Rui's popularity 🥲
I’ve tiered on EN once before and I will say how difficult it is largely depends on what run you’re going for and how high. The more popular the character (ex: Tsukasa, Rui, Mizuki, Mafuyu) the more work you’ll have to put in for a tier. If you look at the Top 100 cutoffs on events you’ll see Rui’s had the highest cut off at over 60 million event points, which is a lot for a marathon. Anyways I will say for marathons (which are normal events not world links) tiering T1k actually isn’t too difficult if you have a decent event bonus and put a couple hours in a day. Comparatively Top 100 is going to be work no matter what event it is, now a days you’ll probably need an upwards of 20mil (for bottom T100 in a marathon) and more in the coming future. Also if you’re going for T10 or above join a discord, most runners have a personal server or go to R8SS (a large server with a bunch of tiering rooms) of course it’s possible to get high without joining a server but if you want to keep your sanity do it.
a bandori tierer, but i can vouch HARD on the "go hard first few hours" bit,,, i tend to make my goal top 10 (or 3 if im going super hard on a certain event) on the first day and slowly ease down into an acceptable range,,,, i dont really know what that translation would be in pjsk terms but go as hard as you can for the first few days and relax for the rest of the event,,,,,,,, it'll be a pain if you're going for anything particularly high but it pays off so well
Thank you for the tiering guide. I'm planning to tier in en on the 3rd anni but I'm not pulling at all. But I got a lot (to me) but I'm hoping to go for Top 500 (man, my grades are gonna go down)

I'm not sure if it's the same as on the Japanese server, but I just wanted to check if it's actually possible. It's totally fine if you don't know! By the way, I think it's really impressive that you managed to rank so high.
For iOS devices, I would think you would need to buy a Korean iTunes gift card and then add that amount to your Korean app store account if you made the account that way. Unfortunately I don't know the steps for Android users.
How much energy would be considered a lot for tiering(like a range cause I'm a new player and idk how much to prepare) and also how do you pick on which event to tier on? There's so many-
I mean, in terms of picking event most people just choose to tier in events for their favorite character or unit. As for energy, there isn’t a recommended number because at the end of the day the more bonus energy you use, the higher you’ll get in the ranking. I’ve gone through 80 of the L cans and over 100 of the S cans in one event.
When tiering for a specific character day if the character focus ends would u not be able to tier for them anymore? like for example l/n world link and i wanna tier for honami, can i just grind for her days or does her day apply to all the event day???
If you specifically want to tier in her portion of the event, then you have 3 days to grind. Once her chapter ends then the next character's chapter will begin.
Just make sure to save all the bonus energy from today to August 2025. There will be a lot of special login bonuses so you would have a lot of bonus energy if you save up.
