It's "nice" but I really don't understand that thing for opening doors, it may look clean, but I can open 3 normal doors before opening one of those. The indicator lights... well that's confusing...but Porsche used to have the key to turn on the car on the left side and no complaints there 😁. The rims... remind me of ones from the ID.3. I think they will be the new Xiaomi on the block, it's a matter of when not if... Speaking about Xiaomi that will be nice to test. Nice review 👍
Have you driven the RWD Caroline..............if so...........which would you choose???
Would the extra range make up for the standard shocks, no HUD and reduced power??
Hi Keith, I haven’t driven the rear wheel drive version but I wouldn’t miss head up display and it still does the 0-100 under 6 seconds. Slightly more efficient set up as well…

Is it better than the new Prius PHEV?
Good question. I loved zipping around in the Prius. This offers more for the money if you’re into the EV thing but I wouldn’t say it’s better. Test drive it and see what you think.
Last car I had with wiper stalks and indicators on that side was a Renault 18! You get used to it quicker than you think. The seats look lovely, rest of the car not so much.
I took delivery of a RWD last week. Indicators are on the LHS and android auto is wireless

The indicators did upset me 😂
From what I've seen these indicators are on review cars only, they'll be on the correct side on customer cars. I'd perhaps ask BYD on clarification for any serious buyers.
@@xMI55IONx I have seen that mentioned by one or two of the online UK reviewers as well. The cars being given to the press are BYD press cars and are not completely to UK/Irish spec. Fingers crossed.
People of a certain age will remember the influx of Japanese import cars to the Irish market...........these also had te turn signals on the rifgt hand stalk.
The indicator stalk is on the correct side for a RHD car.
A very good car.
The no.1 misunderstanding of byd evs is that their regen is weak. The fact is that high regen is triggered when you step on the brake pad gently! Brake pads are NOT engaged unless you slam on the brake. This is a smarter design than that of tesla as it allows you to cruise the car at times, while still conserving as much energy as the inferior one-pedal brake.
That's the idea...knacker your own car industry with pointless legislation , and hand it all to the Chinese....well done Govts owned by the WEF
