#1. Let's say I was on a bad spot in my life and suddenly I met her. If it was me on her shoes, I'd say I was on a complicated situation and because of that I would not be able to fully dedicate myself to the relationship. I'd say to her what I could or couldn't do in regards of her and the relationship so both of us could elaborate some kind of strategy for the relationship to work. This is crazy because I came here about a month ago, a bit before Christmas looking for answers with my ex. I was really drawn to pile 2 but listening to it didn't resonate with me at the time. I had a friend this whole time who I met back in September and we have been getting closer since. At first I didn't think it was correct, but as you told the story you detailed it specifically.
I'll tell you my story.
I had been friends with a guy for about three years and two years ago we got in a bad fight, my fault, that caused no contact. During the three years of friendship he had feelings for me, I never let him out of the friend zone. After two years not speaking he showed up again with a random text last week
After catching up, he asked me out. I suprised both of us by saying yes. It just felt right and natural. I said yes without thought. Anyways he acted like he just got the girl off his dreams and the one he never stopped "crushing" "loving" whatever he felt..... Three years of friendship and two years no contact. His excitement was adorable. It was amazing and I felt like everything was falling into place.
We made plans to get together after four days of texting and falling into place...... he stood me up. I sent him texts nicely calling him out on it, to which he gave a lame excuse. I told him due to our past I'll give him another shot. He said any day I want is good. I sent him my work schedule....... And poof ghosted

Wow.. pile 2 absolutely nailed it! I'm having a (possibly limerant) very intense connection with a married colleague. The first time I met him I had an instant body reaction to this man.
